Amazing location far from the busy station 1 and 2. Private beach shared by 3 hotels (crimson, movenpick and shangrila). Very good value for money. Very helpful staff.

No drinks service on the beach, you have to go the pool bar and bring it yourself to the beach. Some rooms near the pool are very noise from 5-6 PM when super loud music is played for entertainment in the common areas. Like really loud. Food just ok. Kids are kids, but if you want to relax, you’ll have to stay away from the pool. While facilities are good, in my view this is not a 5 stars hotel because of these things. I’ll still be returning because of the value for money and amazing location.

The food and the beach

The saloon. The hair stylist and his assistant seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. I asked them for a haircut and they gave me a trim. I asked for it layered and he didn't separate my hair down the middle but from the side. They are not professional at all and my hair isn't balanced. Front desk weren't helpful when it came to tax payment rather than having us pay during arrival they charged us at the end for the arrival and departure. They have refused to give us our total bill so at this point I am not sure how much I have paid. I have only gotten the payment of the concierge. They don't even take the time to explain why they charged you 3 different payment knowingly it is their fault!! I would like this to reach their management for better training!!

Beautiful secluded location with access to one of the best beaches (and private) in Boracay. Lots of sunbeds on the beach both in and out of the shade. There's a good Italian restaurant that makes delicious pizzas and pasta, although some of the options where not available as they were out of stuff like eggs (!). You can also enjoy the daily chocolate hour (3pm) during which various chocolates and pastries are served. As the resort is a little bit far from the main stations, there's a complimentary shuttle to D’Mall. Takes around 10 minutes and I advise you to book in advance. The staff is great, kind, always willing to help and attentive. I cannot praise them enough and this applies to everyone from the restaurants staff to the pool staff, specially JUMER at the reception, kind and funny. Rooms are silent, clean and very large with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Overall this is a very nice resort.

The breakfast was ok but definitely not at a 5 star level. An example of this, and maybe it is a seasonal thing but the options for fruit were pineapple and watermelon, one day, apple. So not a lot a options...

The resort offers an unforgettable paradise experience. It has a beautiful private beach, a spectacular pool, that locates in the center of the hotel, a tropical garden, a river with fish. Long story short: this is a perfect place to escape from reality and get a top-notch island life exposure. For those, who want to see local life, the hotel provides a free Shuttle Bus to the Boracay Island Center- D'Mall, where you can find a range of small shops, supermarket, cafés and restaurants. The hotel staff is extremely polite and helpful: and I would like to use this chance to express my sincere gratitude to the hotel's CONCIERGE SERVICE!!! On my way to the island, the airline misplaced my luggage, apparently it was left behind in Manila airport. Imagine my frustration, when I arrived to the hotel without my suitcase, where was all my clothes and most importantly my medicine and vital vitamins. The concierge service worked till midnight (although their working time was only till 10PM) staying in touch with airport rep at Caticlan and with airline itself to locate my baggage. Because of their hard work and dedication, I managed to received my luggage on the following day. Moreover, I was granted free late check out, so I could make it up from all stress caused by off-loaded luggage. TRULY GRATEFUL!!!

Very friendly staff. Our daughter came down with a high fever and the clinic was very helpful. Also the ladies that ran the kids club are great with kids and came up with lots of activities for them. Very nice pool and beachside bar. Very good food and drink, especially the bbq on Sunday evenings.

Not much shade on the beach. No umbrellas available to borrow at all. There was also a lack of rollaway beds so we slept 2 adults and one kid in a bed and another kid on a couch. Not really what you’d expect from a resort of this level. Getting a ride back to the hotel is harrowing since the tricycles have to go down an extremely steep hill.

We stayed at the movenpick for 5 nights and overall had a very good experience. The room was well sized and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was generally very good (see exception below), and the fitness centre had enough machines for an OK workout. The star of the show is the pool area and the beach - the beach has crystal clear water and is the nicest in Boracay.

Would have loved to have seen more variety of fruit at breakfast. Most mornings, the only fruit available was watermelon. For a country that produces a lot of amazing fruit (mango, pineapple, papaya, and bananas), this was really odd and a bit miserly. In addition, our room often had a damp / mold smell.

Movenpick is known for its exclusivity and despite staying at the busiest time of the year, I still felt relaxed during my stay. The staff here are some of the best trained in Boracay and are very polite to all their guests. I love their food here as well though a bit on the pricey side by local standards. The beachside bar has the best bar view in all of Boracay so expect high prices even for the smallest snack LOL, but again high price by local standards because if you live abroad in an expensive country for example you really won't mind the prices. The swimming pool of Movenpick is undoubtedly the biggest in Boracay and I enjoyed this facility so much especially during the evenings before dinner. If you wanna do water sports and other activities you can easily book them from the resort or from the companies by the beach. They picked me up right by the beach for sunset parasailing. The room itself is not that grand although if you're in Boracay you're likely not going to stay much in your room as there are so many nice things to do outside. They have free shuttle going to Stations 1 and 2 at certain times so it's not hard to go around say if you like to have dinner or do bar hopping at White Beach.

Movenpick is a family destination and you'll see a lot of kids playing around... if you like to be in a quiet space then this hotel may not be for you... however if you're someone who loves kids and see how they have fun by the pool then you will feel absolutely happy here :)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great room with comfortable bed, serviced daily. Exceptional pool area with bar service. The breakfast buffet was outstanding.

The hotel provided shuttle bus service into town is limited and under capacity at peak hours. With most planned (independent of hotel) excursions starting around 9am, the earliest shuttle bus leaves at 10am. Also, the last shuttle bus from town is 8:50pm, which is quite early, and often over subscribed.

No sanitizer for guest at breakfast. More convenient times for the shuttle; for example 7 PM to D’Mall and later than 8:50 PM going back - maybe 9:50 PM. Little stressed with many people at breakfast and chocolate hour (we were only offered coffee 1 out of 3 times at breakfast)

Location was good, food excellent, large and clean rooms but room service was always slow and things like towels missing so we had to keep reminding.

How slow everyone is. Always issues with the little things. They lack logic and rooms were cleaned during dinner time instead of during the day when the cleaning sign was displayed. Food would get delivered at different times and not all together. When we arrived at the resort they had both rooms booked in separate buildings and this is not what I requested before hand. My children had to be near us. They put us up in a temporary room next to them only after my request and demand but we had to move again the next day to our permanent room. This was also very disappointing since the next day I had to spend half my day chasing the change. Only after I demanded and got very angry at reception did they move into gear. They lack logic.
