1. Great location - direct beach and street access. 2. Excellent service - helpful staff, clean rooms, daily bedding & bathroom linen changes. 3. Penthouse unit had both ocean and street views from the room. 4. Environmental advocacy - no disposable plasticwares.

1. Ongoing building demolition noise beside the property as well as ongoing construction across the street at the time of our stay. 2. The room iPads were under maintenance at the time, so it was difficult to go up and down from the 3rd floor to the lobby to communicate with the staff when we needed something in the room.

Staff was absolutely perfect. Room cleaned every day. Breakfast quite nice and delivered to the balcony at desired time. All necessary amenities in the room. View from balcony absolutely amazing. Cosy roof deck where one can relax and sunbathe if desired. Cute baby daughter of one of the staff made us smile every time we saw her. Small local shop right across the street and couple of nice restaurants with reasonable prices nearby at the beach. Place is located in Station 1 but really close to station 2 so can have fun at the evenings within 10 minutes walk and come back to quiet night place.

Our room was wall to wall with another property that was under construction so could hear loud works from 7AM but of course that's nothing to do with Watercolors workers and hotel itself.

Friendly staff, understanding, accommodating, flexible, good bed, nice room overall, fairly soun proof to road traffic, location is on the beach so beautiful

There is substantial renovations happening immediately next to the water Color’s building only between 9 and 5pm. If you are out at this time it will not affect you. If you sleep in or work from home this is not the place for you until the major construction is completed. It’s a small hotel, the room a little small, minimal facilities but the staff do what they can to make the most of what it is. The location is ok but a 10-15 minutes walk to station 2 attractions like D mall and some main clubs, Starbucks etc.

Great quiet location a few metres from the beach and close enough to restaurants, shops and bars.

Wi-Fi in the room could be better.

The location is great at station 1, I stayed in the penthouse, nice views, quiet, clean, hot shower, comfortable bed - you will sleep well, very accommodating staff, breakfast was perfect for me as I prefer coffee and toast, the other options looked great as well, fresh brewed coffee with milk. It is very easy to walk to the other restaurants and bars in station 2, 5minutes and your at the mid point of entertainment and D’Mall.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left every single staff member was super welcoming, helpful and super friendly. The beach front room was brilliant with a balcony to while away the hours watching the gorgeous white sand beach. So easy to walk to everything. Flat beach, good footpaths and easy walking distance. Great breakfast! The French toast was amazing oh and their cocktails!!!!’ The smoking gin and tonic was so special. Having to entrances - the main room door and access up the spiral stairs to the balcony was a great extra touch

The room was service twice daily but the bathroom was getting a bit tired and the wooden floors warped. The door to the balcony gave u a work out when trying to open and close it.

Amazing location, straight on to the beach in the quieter part of station 1. The staff were brilliant and the room was cleaned every day. Nice simple breakfast daily as well.

The penthouse isn’t worth the extra money as you have no private balcony. The price was also high compared to what else you could get that includes a pool and sun loungers in the area.

Perfect location right on the beach and only a 10minute walk from all the restaurants. The continental breakfast was great, we did upgrade and the pancakes and French toast were very tasty. The bedroom and bathroom were decorated nicely, shower was great. we had the penthouse and the terrace overlooking the beach was great for sunsets. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.

It’s a shame the penthouse doesn’t overlook the beach but as we had the terrace it was fine.

Absolutely fantastic from the first day to the last. Wonderful staff, welcoming and available that makes us feel like family. Located in front of the beach near everything, spectacular rooms. There is a diving team always available that we also recommend if you want to go diving. We highly recommend the meals at Watercolours! We don't know when we will come back but we will definitely stay here again. A big hug to all the staff

This is a perfect boutique hotel with 6 rooms that are beautifully appointed and laid out, they do not mess about with the nonsense of bottled single use water and individual shampoo and bath wash. Their focus is you the customers and how to make you feel at home. The location is perfect in boat station 1 away from the noise and bustle of station 2.

There is nothing not to like, there is no pool but that is no problem as the sea is 20 or 30 steps away and the waters are so clear and the sand so white it is idyllic.
