If someone had told me 35 years ago that I would be able to stay in such a lovely castle in Poland I would never have believed them. A truly magnificent place, beautifully set and appointed. The food was excellent - pistacchio cheescake to die for, the breakfasts some of the best I have ever eaten. The staff were extremely welcoming. the spa area was lovely and the outside balinese hot tub fed by hot natural spring water was the icing on the cake. The number of rooms is small and it all feels very private as outside visitors are only allowed into the restaurant.

The castle is heated by hot geothermal water and this also comes out of the taps. Sometimes there was a bit of a metallic smell but in the circumstances this can be very much forgiven. I also think the wine list was a bit pricey.

Amazing place in a nice location. It can serve as a quiet retreat (there is a beautiful library that would be a perfect study), since it's away from major population centres, or it can be a base for traveling around and visiting local tourist areas. It would be perfect for a wedding or a honeymoon. It carries with it a price tag, but for me it was worth it. The apartment we were in was huge, with old (or renovated) furniture that made it feel aristocratic. Breakfast was very good as well.

Not really a criticism, but be aware that it is a renovated old "castle", so there are plenty of stairs with only a small lift that will no take you to all the rooms around. Thus, for people who have trouble walking up the stairs, they should make sure that you inform the staff and get a room that is easily accessible.

The entire experience in the hotel was nice. Beginning with staff (extremely friendly and helpful), continuing with the facilities (rooms are comfortable and clean) and wellness posibilities. Another point that should be highlighted is the restaurant that my wife and I really liked.

It was not an issue for me, since my wife and I are young adults, but maybe for older people who cannot use stairs it can be a problem: there is only an elevator for one person. The hot-water bathtube in wellness area is outside.

It was a very unique experience; that is, the chance to stay over night in a castle. This was a case where the hotel, itself, was something to see, and as such I spent some time walking the different floors to view the different exhibits. The grounds were also very charming with several small ponds and beautiful walking trails.

It could use some more signs along some of the local roads to make it a bit easier to find. However, this was in part my fault due to arriving late at night and approaching from side roads. Still, even this seemed to add to the mystique and allure of the site.

Fantastic old castle in an idyllic country setting. The renovation was done in good taste and now had all the modern comforts. The staff was very helpful and happy. The breakfast buffet was huge with different local dishes. We also enjoyed our dinners at the restaurant on site. This castle hotel is worth a trip. Recommend the Renaissance suite!

Roads over to the castle are narrow and windy. The town nearby is quite small.

Amazing place! A beautifully restored castle located in a beautiful park, surrounded by a water and fantastic walking areas. The room is decorated with exceptional attention to detail, restored original old furniture, but also modern decorations, a luxurious bathroom. Corridors full of historic paintings and souvenirs. Great food in the hotel restaurant and world-class service.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Great location in walking distance to Rudawski park, Sokolik and Krzyzna góra. Authentic historical building which is now kept in good condition. Hot tube with natural hot spring water and great view is something special. Good restaurant (they have draft Guinness ). Not overcrowded. Comfortable large and beautiful rooms. Overall it was a great romantic stay.

This place was absolutely magical. The pictures looked to good to be true, the castle was even better in person. The breakfast was the best we have ever had traveling. The staff were extremely friendly. The rooms were massive, updated but they kept the charm of the castle. In my 20 years of traveling I have never enjoyed my stay as much as this castle.

There is nothing to dislike about this place.

A wonderful, historic and very comfortable hotel that was exactly what we wanted. Excellent in every way with a Superb restaurant. Staff were very helpful and genuinely want guests to have a great time. We are already planning our return visit later this year. Wonderful value for money, relaxing and perfect.

There is nothing not to like.

Great historic building surrounded by a moat, set in extensive grounds. Excellent restaurant and breakfast, private rooms and common parts restored with attention to detail. All restoration work and furnishings are done to high standards and very good taste
