The service and atmosphere is amazing. The lady in the reception (Annette) cares about everything (incl. trips) so sincerely, that I've felt like visiting some family member. The rest of the personnel are also very nice. Breakfast is great - wide selection, good quality. Coffee is perfect too. Lunch (soup+main course) available until 5 pm. Tasty, big portions. The same could be said about the menu courses. There is also a cosy well-equiped kitchen in the last floor. The interior of the hotel - solid modern classic, very nice. Possibility to have sauna whenever you want (asking 1 hour prior), is also an advantage. There is a big wooden table and benches near it for those, who want to spend some time outside. The room has a cosy balcony for the same purpose and you may enjoy the views of mountains from there. The hotel is located right near the entrance to the Tatra national park in the foothills of Giewont mountain, which is perfectly seen from the hotel as well. If you go straight ahead, you will easily reach the Strąžyska Polana (valley) with a great view to Giewont mountain. It is convenient to start hiking from the hotel to all of the directions as well.

The room was very spacious and had a nice view to some mountaintops. The downstairs restaurant was excellent - had a great dinner there one night and they had an amazing local breakfast buffet.

The room doors do not isolate sound at all, so you can hear when other visitors enter/leave their rooms and walk in the hallway, which may interrupt your sleep. This, however, seemed to be quite common in several accommodations we stayed in during our trip to Poland.

We really loved our stay at Walkowy Dwor. It is just next to the hills so the view out of every window is just breathtaking & the location is aboit 15 min walk from center of Zakapone so there is no traffic sound. It was clean & comfy & with tasty breakfast. The only thing is that sewage system is quite loud so when domebody goes to wc or takes a shower - in any room of the hotel - it's quite noisy - also during the night. We were super tired & it didn't really bother us but it might be a problem for somebody. ;) But we really enjoyed our stay, thank you! :)

Very friendly staff, good location to Mount Giewont (although that specific route is challenging). Very quiet; 20 minutes away from the city centre. Also the staff. My god, I have not met a friendlier staff anywhere else. I was departing from Zakopane very early in the morning - around 7 - the staff had orepared me a huge breakfast bag, because I wouldn’t be able to take breakfast at 8. That was super sweet!

The beds were not very comfortable — not very firm mattress; same is wth pillows, they did not hold one’s head. :(

quiet location, away from the urban center but with a direct view of the mountains. 5 minutes walk to find yourself in the Tatri mountains. spacious bedroom with shower/toilet. fridge, TV and coffee making facilities. the Continental-style lunch is both an English and a European lunch. The restaurant linked to the hotel is really very good, I was able to taste their traditional soup for dinner, a treat.

The hotel was exceptional. Our rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were so friendly. We had drinks in the downstairs bar which was cosy and inviting. This place really is a gem. Breakfast was excellent. All 6 loved our stay

There was nothing to dislike about this place. Idyllic and peaceful, away from the busy centre, beautiful views all around. Just great 👍

Lovely, nicely decorated hotel in a perfect location for the mountains. The bedroom was great and had a small separate lounge with Mountain views. I left the car in the hotel car park and hiked from the hotel most days. Breakfast buffet was excellent with so much nice fresh food. Dinner in the restaurant each night was also really good. The staff were so friendly and helpful to me as a non-Polish speaker.

Great breakfast. Superb room with two balconys and great view of the Tatramountains. Nearby is a trail up in the mountains and because that was our main interest of our visit to Zakopane the location was also good.

I cant find anything I didn't like. If you are in Zakopane for partying and barhopping the location is a bit offside but I think there is a possibility to hop on a bus or call a cab.

Location was excellent. Hotel is 500m from mountain hiking trails and the city centre is reachable in 15min by walking. Nice mountain view from the balcony. Good breakfast and excellent restaurant. One of the times when best place to eat is your hotels restaurant. Delicious polish dishes and very good prices. Separate backyard entry and free car parking in backyard. We stayed there 4 nights and were so satisfied that wanted to book more but there was no available rooms.

Staff all really friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Location on edge of the national park is perfect.

A twin room with a mountain view was not an option which was a shame
