Loved the location, calm neighbourhood, close to mountains and not so far from the main street. Haven’t used our car, because everything was easily reachable by walk. Staff was very polite and owner gave us hand drawn maps to reach things we wanted, also discount at closest restaurant. Breakfast was nice, really good coffee, good but simple food, either for adults and the kids.

There was strong smell in the room when we came, maybe it was perfume, but we didn’t liked it. Kind of lilies or something like that. Had to keep windows open to make it more sensible. And there was visible mold in shower, towels with holes, not so comfy beds.

Its a nice traditional hotel well situated relative to the hiking trails. Not noisy at night, the owner cares a lot to get things right and will give tips on routes. Good breakfast, very discreet as well, if you don't want to be bothered.

For the price I think it was a pretty good deal

Staff painted a little map with restaurants and trails near the stay. Received a 10% discount on 2 local restaurants. Got a mountain view room, rooms were well sound isolated, we stayed with a dog. The location is excellent, car isn’t required, the center is about 20 minutes away, and there is a forest side trail about 8 minutes away from property. The breakfast products were well selected, guests are offered to get freshly cooked scrambled eggs and sausages on top of buffet.

I liked the old ferniture antique as they making the beautiful atmosphere around the house and polish tradishional <goralska >history of region. The owner and staff very helpful and professional .All people so so nice and very friendly . We are definitely will stay in Szarotka again. .Also very good breakfast.

Great location. Great host that gave us a lot of useful tips on what to visit, where to eat and what to do everyday. Clean room, no loud city noises. Everything is nearby in all of our stay (3 nights), we never used our car as everything was few steps away.

It’s a quiet and pleasant place to stay, if you look for a place a bit distant from the city noise, Szarotka can be your choice. It’s a family business and the attitude is like a family. Breakfast was good, the coffee was amazing.

Good value. Staff were very nice although our polish is quite limited. Interesting older building with lots of old/antique items on display. Room was very clean.

Double bed was very small not standard double size, bed was also too firm and sheets were not soft.Breakfast was ok but limited choice.

Location was wonderful – close to central street, but far enough for it to be calm and quiet. National park was right around the corner. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was really good. We had a balcony, but it was a surprise that we shared it with the room next to us. There was cozy relaxing area in front of the building.

Room was much smaller than expected from pictures.

The staff is incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. They offer valuable insights on exploring the Tatras trails, all conveniently within walking distance. Will visit again!

If any, then maybe the WiFi was on the poor side.
