While the hotel is quite compact & facilities pretty basic it covered all requirements & had a really nice atmosphere. The staff were amazing, happy to chat & offer recommendations for the local area. The pool was pretty small but allowed you to take a dip to cool off while using the sun loungers. Food & drinks at the pool bar were enjoyable & reasonably priced. It was a short 5 min walk (Downhill) to a beautiful beach that I visited twice during my stay.

Location was a little out of the way & there was not a huge amount to do in a 5-10 min walking radius. The saving grace was Bolt taxi app. It cost €4-8 for a taxi from the hotel into the Albufeira Old Town.

Its outside the town but location is good, close to a lovely beach and lovely places to walk, much quieter than my previous trips to Albuferia but really enjoyed it. Pool is small but lovely, lots of sunbeds and sunshine all day. Restaurant is cheap and nice food, staff are very friendly and helpful. Very relaxing 4 night holiday.

A pretty basic hotel but a great base with no frills. There is a lovely sandy beach at the bottom of the hill a couple of minutes walk. The staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The cocktails were reasonable at 6 euros each and we have a delicious pizza in our first night. a small pool which was clean and there were plenty of sun loungers. A bus stop at the top of the road to take you into Albufeira where we did all our day trips from or about an hour sand a half walk. There was a fridge in the room which was great, and a fan you can pay a supplement for aircon if you wanted to. We had a little private balcony which was lovely to chill in the evening and after a long day trip

The bed was quite hard, quite old fashioned decor and 60’s feel in the bathroom, but it is very clean and has everything you would want. Every Saturday there is a karaoke until 1am which was pretty loud and we could hear it in our room as we had gone to bed early after an early start

We liked the location, how laid back and quiet the area and facilities were. It is a short walk to three different beaches and close to bus stops that will get you into town. There is a restaurant and bar on site with very yummy food and fantastic cocktails all at great prices. There are a couple cafes you can easily walk to for morning coffee and a bite in the morning. There is a swimming pool that was wonderful with the bar by the pool. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

It was not a big deal to us but there is no air conditioning but a fan is provided which we found to be adequate.If you are heat sensitive it might cause you some issues.

The hotel was lovely, the beds and shower were some of the best we've experienced. The staff were so very lovely and friendly, even arranged for us to be able to check in earlier than usual as we had travelled through the night with little sleep. The cocktails were some of the best and cheapest I've had. They even let us hang out at the bar and pool after check out as our flight wasn't until early evening. Also the walk to the beach was lovely and the beach itself is amazing😀😀

My only issue (and this is just my own personal opinion) was that I found it to be a little too far out from Old/New Town for my liking. I didn't like being restricted to having using Ubers to get where I wanted to go instead of being able to walk 5/10 mins back if needed. But again this is only my personal opinion.

Great location, only 30/40 mins from Faro airport. It’s very quiet town which has a handful of lovely restaurants/bars, Torre Velha itself has great food and at a very reasonable price from €3. An Uber to old/new town is about €7 so great if you want a lively night out like we did or a day trip. Just all round cheap and cheerful ideal for couples. Hotel itself is basic, rustic in places but it’s clean and the staff are friendly. Perfect for a chilled week away

I think the hotel is missing a trick by not serving food until 12, they should serve a small breakfast menu, would be perfect then!

This was my 3rd visit to Torre Velha and this time I took my daughter. I love this place, Marth, Christina and Romanes are the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel welcome. The food was brilliant and great value for money. The location is perfect as it's only a small uber ride to the marina, old town and zoomarine and it's far enough away if u don't like the hustle and bustle of a busy resort. I will definitely recommend to family and friends and will for sure be returning in the future. Thank you guys for a lovely stay ❤️

Although it was too cold to use the pool, it looked inviting. The beach was within walking distance and was beautiful. There was also a pool table that was in good condition. The room was comfortable with plenty of hot water for the shower. There is a private patio with the room that you can use for relaxing on your own.

The hallway lighting is motion sensored but the timing of them left you in the dark for a few seconds. For an older person it was a little disconcerting. There was no hairdryer in the room and they were unable to provide one. They did, however, offer to move me to another room.

Quiet location which we wanted, staff very friendly and always happy to help. Pool is always kept clean as are the sunbeds. Has a decent kitchen for lunch and dinner, mainly salads, pastas, pizzas and a very decent burger but does have a special every night, all for a very reasonable price, also has a really good icecream bar.. Great bar with a wide variety of drinks, they do cocktails and sell a good local beer, you can eat and drink at the tables by the pool or in the dining room. Rooms are plain but beds are comfortable also has shower, fridge and small balcony (ask for a kettle if you want to make a morning cuppa)..There is a beach nearby but down a steep hill, so if your getting on a bit like us, go for the day, theres a nice restaurant and toilets there.For the price we paid the hotel iwas a good choice and we're one of many who keep on returning to this little gem. Here's a tip, leave them a tip before you leave, they work hard and deserve your appreciation.

Nothing that would stop me returning but just niggly things. The wardrobe (more or less a cupboard in the wall), its so small but accept there's not much can be done about it and for that price not a huge issue but dont bring a ton of clothes. Getting the patio door to lock, eventually got the knack in the end but ask for help if needs be.

The property was in a brilliant location for quick access to a clean beach (approx 6min walk). The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were good and priced reasonably. Although the room was dated and basic, it was everything we needed for a few nights stay for a mother and daughter break.

We were only able to find one supermarket in walking distance that we went to daily. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any fresh fruit or bakery items.
