The facilities were gorgeous and the setting is serene. I particularly enjoyed the indoor pool & spa area which were perfect & tranquil - as the weather wasn’t great the whole holiday, although we still managed to enjoy the outdoor pool which is great and goes deep, unheated with gorgeous views of the Beach and Lisbon in the distance. Our room was spacious enough with a decent sized balcony to eat & drink. The small kitchen space was surprisingly well kitted out for the size and I managed to cook a few meals for 2. Plenty of shops nearby for supplies. Recommend the chicken shops! Especially ‘Radical’. The reception staff were all lovely, warm and incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome. I liked the Robes & slippers they provided.

It would have been cool if there were more service options to the pool side area as it’s quite a walk to the bar. Had to pay for the swim cap (required for indoor pool).

room don't have recycling bins spa swiming pool should be more restricted as we had people using it in an unproper way pool outside has several rules, but all of them were being broken. Now in all honesty, other than the smoking, none of the broken rules affected my experience.

Lovely pool, excellent for keeping cool on very hot days with a baby. The staff were helpful and friendly. We were provided with a cot and high chair and bath tub for our apartment which was great. The hotel restaurant served tasty Italian food and there was a delicious fish restaurant less than a minutes walk away. We would definitely recommend and hope to return at some point!

It was further away/ more difficult to get into central Lisbon than we'd thought when booking, so we ended up just spending more time locally. Would be much easier to get into Lisbon if you didn't have a baby to think about though.

Lovely rooms, spacious and clean. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with pool view. Two balconies - front and back. Two bathrooms, one en suite. Included washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee machine in the kitchen. Excellent for families. Swimming pool was great for all ages and pool staff very attentive. Breakfast selection was also very good and catered for all. We did eat in the restaurant on one evening and enjoyed a lovely meal. Staff were all very hard working and helpful. We did have an issue with our TVs not functioning, but it was fixed promptly and efficiently. Proximity to the beach was excellent, we enjoyed watching the water sports as we lay by the pool. Short walk into Alcochete, which although small had some amazing restaurants. Would highly recommend Viroprato, a hidden gem! We also enjoyed Alcache, Al’Kawa Sushi and Alfoz. Booking for restaurants not always needed, but many are closed on Monday/Tuesday.

The Appartment was spacious, comfortable with build in air-conditioning 2 high standard bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Staff was extremely helpful so accommodating nothing was a problem and available 24/7. Outdoor and indoor pools, gym and hotel restaurant at your door. Fabulous view overlooking Lisbon from the pool area. Spa treatments offered all the relax and self- care you need. Geen area surrounding the hotel very well kept. Few steps away from the beach.

As we were self catering I found it far to the nearest supermarkets. If you have your own transport you're fine we were using uber a lot.

We stayed for a week in a 2 bedroom pool view room and it was excellent! Breakfast is great with an ample selection, spa is gorgeous and the pool is very good. The room itself was very well equipped and you could easily cook in the kitchen if you didn’t want to go out. Plenty of parking outside if you didn’t want to pay to park inside and it is very safe. Daily housekeeping is fab. Restaurant on site is very handy and staff are fantastic. Everyone is helpful and welcoming.

The gym needs a bit of work - there are no towels or water fountain, machines need a service and the air conditioning didn’t always work so definitely worth spending time on it.

An absolutely amazing resort. Everything you could ask for. If you are after relaxation just out of Lisbon then this is the place. The facilities were spectacular. Bed was huge and comfortable, towels large and fluffy and breakfast extensive. We stayed here as they had secure parking and easy access to the airport (about 25 minutes) to return our hire car and fly to our next destination.

It was a little strange having to walk through so many other buildings and codes for all the doors to get to our apartment. However, in doing so you could respect their security and felt very safe.

Staff were super welcoming and helpful even when i lost my locker key down the swimming pool drain! And found my toddler's hat. It's a lovely resort, the outdoor pool is beautifully situated and I was surprised the beach was so close. We really enjoyed our trip to the indoor pool as well, it was easy to reserve a slot and the massage jets were appreciated. We had a great view over the wetlands, it was great to have such a spacious balcony with sun loungers and dining table although i mostly set on the comfy sofa indoors where i could also see the view (btw take bug spray). We wanted Portuguese food and reception recommended and booked the restaurant acroas the road where we had delcious grilled fish and more great service. I would definitely recommend it here for a family stay.

Only improvements might be a luggage stand for the room and easier way to open parking garage (great to have a space nearby room though).

A wonderful location. From the outdoor pool, there is a beautiful view of the bridge and Lisabon. A place for quiet and leisurely relaxation, and only about a 25-minute drive to the centre of Lisabon.

Although the kitchen was supposed to be equipped with everything necessary, every day we had to ask for additional supplies for the dishwasher or washing machine, which turned out to be an extra charge. An air conditioner would have also been useful. This caused additional inconveniences.

Praia do Sal Resort is a perfect place to stay for those who seek serenity and home-like luxury. The apartments are spacious, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool / river view <3 The facilities are great (the pool is beautiful and clean, there are enough sunbeds for the guests). The resort is eco-friendly. The staff is very professional, helpful and kind - their positive attitude is contagious :) During our stay we were informed about the local festival, which turned out to be a very interesting event (we recommend August stays). The location is wonderful - close enough to Lisbon (travelling through the bridge is really nice); by the river beach (full of shells, crabs, etc.) and with the shops within the walking distance. The Omaggio Restaurant is excellent - we planned our trips the way that allowed us to eat dinner there (everything was delicious, fresh and wholesome). Many thanks to the Reception Team for doing their best to make our holiday unforgettable <3 Should we ever be back in this part of Portugal, we will definitely stay in Praia do Sal Resort!

I only wish we had stayed there longer!
