Very nice hotel, lots of room to walk around and good breakfast. When I decided to run in the early morning, I was followed by an adorable red dog that lives on the territory of the hotel. And this dog ran with me all 21 km. cheerfully and easily, after that we became friends with him. So, here even dogs help guests to have a good time!

Be careful when coming by car. There is one asphalt road on the side of Almodôvar. And on the other side there is a dirt road, which was not very comfortable for us to drive on at night and in the rain. But the navigator leads exactly by this route, so check this point in advance.

Diner little bit expansive. Do not understand the method that consist to keep a dog in cage 24h in the middle of the hotel

The facilities were wonderful, with two cosy pools and several lounge areas. Well decorated and comfortable. I loved the fact that the view from the pools didn't face any other houses or facilities, simply hills, trees and goats. The owners and staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We are very happy we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Monte Gois. The food was well prepared and the environment was relaxing and cosy. Lots of families with little kids.

Not staying one extra night.

We had the perfect stop here after some busy days in the algarve. The property is just beautiful, very quiet all around. Great for stargazing at night, we saw three shootingstars in one hour! The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed at night, which we only learned after we booked. But the owners made up for it by offering to upgrade our room and to have the staff prepare a take away dinner for us to heat up at night. I assume the food freshly made would have been a bit more flavourful, per the other reviews, but it was a nice compromise and we gladly accepted!

Peaceful location and nice facilities. Lovely place to relax and unwind. The dinner was lovely-traditional Portuguese food and a good breakfast.

Nothing! It was so hot outside but nobody can control the weather. Thankfully, the bedrooms had air conditioning

The accommodations are charming! Comfortable and practical. The "outdoors" shower was delightful. The food was delicious.

The place is hard to find and far from the closest town. There were no light blocker curtains. No recommended for people that are easily awakened morning sun light.

The breakfast was simple but good

The spa area wasn’t very inspiring and more communication about services provided would have been useful . Also, it would have been nice to have been given a walking map.

Wonderful host, Sofia, made us feel very welcome. She picked lemon verbena from the garden and made us delicious tea which we enjoyed in front of the cosy woodburner with a very amiable cat.

There was a good layout on the breakfast buffet to please every taste and I enjoyed my Bacalhau at dinner , it was delicious. There were as well vegetarian options. Lovely deco in the very homely Restaurant.

Stunning spot v clean, lots of spaces to sit , 2 pools , we stayed in a suite and it was exceptional.

Snag was the toilet had an annoying drip which kept us awake. Did ask for it to be looked at , but it didn't happen. Apart from that very enjoyable stay
