A hidden gem – intimate, stylish, and flawless! This guesthouse is truly exceptional. With only four rooms, it offers an intimate and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The combination of warm, personal hospitality and highly professional service is rare and remarkable. The interior design is elegant and of the highest quality – every detail is thoughtfully curated. The pool area is a dream – beautifully maintained and never crowded. Another highlight is the fully equipped outdoor kitchen, including a fantastic selection of drinks available to all guests. Nothing was missing – simply perfect!

We had a delightful stay. Our host, Dik, was exceptionally warm, kind, and welcoming, making our experience extraordinarily pleasant and making it difficult to leave. We felt at home. It's a actually more a home rather hospitality places you've been to. A home you are dreaming of. Everything is well thought through, comfortable and super clean. Breakfast outside on the terrace was just perfect and hearty. Just the way one should enjoy the living on the slow pace vacations. Pool and all terrace area with ocean's view was magnificent. Evening dinners with warm breeze passing through open kitchen is worth to be mentioned as it soothes after a hot lazy day at the pool. This is the place to spend utmost relaxed vacations with less turbulence felt in public beaches down the Algarve region. It's a gem. We could not dream of a better place to spend part of our honeymoon. All in all, definitely way above the expectations.

Everything about our stay was top notch. From check-in to a reluctant departure every aspect of our stay was outstanding. Dik is such a terrific host - warm, jovial and informative. Dik and Brandina have created a unique haven in which they've invested a lot of energy, care and professional knowledge. You feel privileged to be allowed to share their wonderful space. Breakfast was a highlight on their lovely outdoor terrace and we met some fun, interesting people as well. On their gate they have a plaque with a 9.8 rating from booking.com - I don't know where the other 0.2 went to!

Leaving!

Oh my goodness! What a wonderful experience in this perfectly, peaceful bit of paradise. This bed and breakfast is everything it says and more. The photos, although very good, do not do the property justice as it is even better when you get there and the warm greeting from Dik immediately makes you feel at home. The outdoor kitchen was very handy with a fridge to keep snacks and wine/beer in if you wish and also doubles as an honesty bar. Unfortunately the weather was a little cloudy and windy to make use of the bbq. The review written by ‘Richard on Aug 4th 2023’ is exactly what we would have said! If you like to get away from the crowds as we do then this is for you. Thank you Brandina and Dik for such a wonderful experience. We would definitely book this again!!!

Absolutely nothing except for leaving!

Greeted at the door by the host Dik, the start of a wonderful stay. No expense has been spared in the quality of furnishing this wonderful property for the enjoyment of guests. Our room, including a large dressing area, was large, and the bed with very tasteful linens, was very comfortable. Outside, with beautiful views, there is everything you need to enjoy a relaxing break from the busy coastal resorts, which are all within a short journey. There is a well stocked honesty bar in the outside kitchen, which includes a large BBQ. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast served on the terrace, by a lovely lady, nothing was too much trouble. To say this guest house is truely fabulous is an understatement. Thank you Dik and Brandina

Having to leave.

Everything was fantastic. The room was spot clean, very spacious and we even had a walk-in closet in our room. The bed was very comfortable and having an electrical roller shutter made us sleep very well. The view during the breakfast was stunning. And we used the outside area and pool quite a lot and it was so relaxing sitting there, reading a book or enjoy the view while being in the pool. Dik and the staff were really friendly and accommodating and we really enjoyed our stay. Totally recommended!

Casa Mocho Branco is a truly exceptional B&B owned and run by Dik and his wife Brandina. From the moment we arrived the experience was unbelievable. Our room was immaculate with a spotless en-suite. Breakfast is served by a lovely lady called Clarice who is so helpful. The table is beautifully laid with lovely crockery. There are individual bowls of chopped fruit, greek yoghurt, a basket of delicious rolls, croissants etc and all jams are home made and beautifully served, none of your small packets of jam etc. Also eggs if you would like. There are 2 tables on the balcony and a table inside the dining room, the doors are open and the view is breathtaking. Moving outside to the pool area, there are plenty of very comfortable loungers. The pool was lovely and warm, outside towels are provided too, There is plenty of room on the pool terrace to sit apart from other guests if you prefer. It's incredibly quiet, low music playing outside which is perfect. There is an outdoor eating area, a fridge containing beers, cider, wine, soft drinks which Dik operates on an honesty basis, you just tell him what you have had when you checkout. He was really helpful with restaurant recommendations. It's important to remember that you do need transport to get anywhere. If you aren't hiring a car then ubers are very reasonable. We hadn't booked to stay here originally but we weren't happy with an apartment we had booked elsewhere so decided to cut our losses and move on. I cannot tell you how glad I am that we did.

Absolutely nothing!

Everything was incredible, from check in to check out. Dik and his wife were so accommodating from the moment me and my partner arrived. We stayed in the superior double room, the bed was so large and so comfortable and the bathroom was also everything we needed. The room features a private entrance and terrace leading to the front entrance of the garden, and the rear which is home to the incredible infinity pool and beautiful garden. Infinity pools are my thing, and was primarily what I was looking for on this trip (a relaxing garden with a beautiful pool) and after all the research I did, I genuinely believe that this was the best and most beautiful opinion in the whole of the algarve, especially for my budget. Although the accommodation is shared with a couple of other guests, for the most it felt like we had the garden area to ourselves. Breakfast was perfect each morning and we felt right at home. We will definitely be returning to Casa Mocho on our next trip to Portugal. Thank you so much!

the room was spacious, had two private roof terraces. the bed linen was lovely, the towels were big, pool towels also provided. Good coffee machine and pods. dressing room with lies of storage space and hangers. Big bathroom with double jacuzzi bath and great shower. Breakfast very good, just charming, swimming pool lovely, fridge full of cool drinks, bbq, seats in the shade, sun beds with good cushions, very pleasant gardens. We were totally relaxed here, we went out a little but mostly stayed read, swam, relaxed, ate under the shade in the garden by the outside kitchen.

It was really easy to find Cash Mocho Branco - a short drive from Faro Airport. The Guest House was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The terrace area was private and quiet, and the surrounding gardens tended by Dik were beautiful. Our special thanks to the ladies who prepared breakfast and kept everywhere tidy - they were wonderful and their cooking was perfect

Can't really think of anything - except we would have liked to have stayed longer!
