WEeve stayed here for many years and were a bit disappointed that the apartment exterior looks a bit shabby. The apartments are really lovely and spacious and the cleaners do an excellent job. The bar/restaurant was as good as ever and the staff go out of the way to help you. There are plenty of sun beds and towels.

Some apartment blocks look a bit shabby and the pool needs a tidy up. The kitchen equipment hasn’t been replaced which made self catering complicated. The bar/restaurant hours have been seriously reduced so you can’t order food after 5.30pm any day or a drink after 6pm, except at weekends. It’s a shame the trees/bushes have been allowed to grow so tall as you can’t see the golf course from the balcony and large areas of the lovely pool are shaded.

The apartments are large, spacious, very clean and well equipped; all you would need for a self catering holiday, we had a fabulous stay. The reception staff were polite and courteous. We did have an issue with the Wi-Fi during our stay but this was rectified the next day. Our apartment 91E doesn't get the sunshine on the balcony in the afternoon so if that's what you want, ask for a sunny room. Due to staying in February it got quite cool in the evenings so we needed to use the air conditioning. The resort is secure with a locked gate; your room card permits access. You do need a car to stay here; there is plenty of parking and an underground garage. We would highly recommend The Residences Vilamoura without a doubt and we hope to return again soon. A couple of coat hooks in the entrance hall for coats would be beneficial. The hot water takes a few minutes to come through but once it does, it's nice and hot.

Very comfortable apartment, extremely clean with plenty of space. We had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big living room & a well equipped kitchen as well as a large terrace. There was an underground garage with private parking spaces & direct access via either a lift or stairs to our apartment. It was very quiet at night so we had no problem sleeping.

Nothing serious but there were a couple of minor design issues e.g. - the control for the shower was via a single lever which controlled both temperature & flow & it was very easy to knock this while showering resulting in a sudden increase or decrease in temperature. It is definitely necessary to have a car here. Although we knew this in advance & had hired a car at the airport it would have been nice to have been able to do some occasional walking directly from the apartment.

We’ve stayed before so knew our way around the complex! This time we were traveling with our son, daughter in law and 10 month old grandson so had requested a high chair and cot which were put in our apartment. The apartments are beautifully kitted out and the beds are super comfy. The indoor pool was great to take our grandson out of the sun and is heated - we had a hirecar and also in the passed have used Bolt (taxi app) The nearest supermarket is about a mile away and has everything you need and there is now an Italian restaurant immediately opposite the apartment which we had takeaway pizzas from which were delicious

We have stayed before so knew the complex, everything was perfect! We used the indoor pool and had it to ourselves as it was quiet on the complex, early in the year weather can be unpredictable so we borrowed a big umbrella from reception. The apartments are very spacious with full kitchen, ours had 2 bedrooms (1 lge double which was very comfortable, and there was a twin bed room - unused in our case as there were only 2 of us). We had a main bathroom with bath and overhead shower and a separate shower room so it was great for 2 of us but would also be ideal for families. The living area was spacious with large tv, 6 seater dining table and a large balcony with furniture off the living room (there are also small balconies off the main bedroom and kitchen). The kitchen has hob, full oven, freezer, fridge and there’s a washer with drying rack too - all utensils, plates, cutlery, glasses are there if you want to eat in. It’s approx 3 miles to the marina in Vilamoura if you’re walking or there is a free shuttle which goes at 10am and 7pm, which you need to book- in the evening you can come back on the 10pm shuttle or use local taxis or a “Bolt app” to book ( we used Bolt and it cost 5euros) We will be returning…………..

apartment was spacious, modern and the air conditioning was very good. Amenities were great including washing machine. Apartment was cleaned daily. Staff were extremely helpful, they went above and beyond to find my lost wallet and then helped transport our luggage to taxi on check in/out.

The bed was uncomfortable. Very hard mattress and flat pillows. The main swimming pool was too cold me so could not enjoy it. There is an indoor heated option but it’s not very nice. The only restaurant closed early (I think it was 6.30pm) and no other options or supermarkets in vicinity, car or Uber needed.

Excellent apartments very well equipped with all you would ever need. English Tv channels including sky sports etc. Nice enclosed pool area Very secure underground carpark

The Beds! I mention it every year but the beds are ROCK hard. we managed to find two matress toppers in the wardrobe and place a douvet from an unused bed on top of the matress and this just about made it bearable (and I like a firm mattress) Its such a shame as it really puts us off coming back (and we have been here 6 times)

A lot of space, nice modern apartment, nice kitchen

It was a beautiful place that suited most of our needs excluding pool towels and on site dinner dining.

We had a tiny parking spot in the garage and we had a van. It was almost impossible to pull in within the pillars. There was nowhere to get a beverage or dine for dinner. We did not want to leave the property after checking in but walked to a resort next door to dine. It cost about 400e for the six of us to eat although it was very nice. Also, there are no towels for the pool after I believe 5:00, so we could not dry off after swimming. Breakfast was a little pricey but good portions. It is a gated community and the reception area was within the gates. We didn't know where to go or how to get in so we had to wait for someone to come through the gate.

This is the second time I have stayed here and it was fantastic. the apartments are very comfortable and modern. Fantastic for friends as there is lots of space. The pool area is also great and was very quiet during our stay. There is a hotel transfer into the marina if needed and Uber is only 5/6€. The piazza had great food and service and the hotel across the way also had a lovely restaurant.

While not a problem for us, the location for some could be an issue. There is not much around so an Uber ride into the marina is needed. But this is why I love this place because it is so quiet and like a retreat.
