This place is a GEM in the Alentejo region. Conveniently located and tranquil, it is close to the town center, close to restaurants, shops and to hubs to travel to different locations. Parking is available right in front of the premises. As you enter the building, the cleanliness is evident and the reception area is very well lit. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms are tended to daily and are very clean, from the bathroom and towels to the bed linen. The towels in the bathroom are Snow White, so are the bed sheets! All rooms have a balcony to take advantage of the region’s fresh air and landscape. The swimming pool is a welcome addition and if you don’t bring a towel, they will provide one for you. It is also tended to daily and very clean. The included breakfast, has some of the goodies from the region, cheeses, cold cuts and jams, besides the coffee and juices.

Nothing to point the finger at here! Rest your head and enjoy, life is to short to complain about nothing!

Excellent staff who couldn't do enough for us on the reception. You can also rent pool towels for 50c from reception which is a great bonus when traveling lightly. We were a group of 8 cyclists. Poolside bar was also very cheap.

As a group of cyclists we like to keep our bikes in the rooms with us. The bikes are very expensive. We were told this wasn't possible and that we could leave them in the back yard which had an electric gated area for parking cars etc. This wasn't an option as the bikes could easily have been lifted over the walls and taken away. Luckily we had a large support vehicle which we stored the majority of the bikes in and a couple of them were left in the outside pool area toilets overnight. It wasn't an ideal situation and maybe something the hotel could look into in the future to make it more cyclist friendly.

We have stayed at this hotel on three previous occasions and this was certainly the best stay to date. the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff at reception were welcoming and very helpful.

In common with many Portuguese hotels a kettle was not provided in the room, but we always take one with us on our travels anyway so this wasn't a problem. However, when one is provided, not having to pack one in the suitcase is always a bonus.

What a find this hotel is, from the fantastic greeting at check in to very well appointed rooms, with lovely cold AC, we even had a little balcony with French doors. Very happy with this stop over. A very tasty breakfast was served with both hit and cold options.

The other guests were super noisy, in the room below us, which ended up with me having to bang on the walls. So I suppose that the sound insulation could be better.

Usual hotel for birdwatching in the Castro Verde area. The conditions are great and the staff is very accommodating.

Fabulous price for such a great hotel with excellent facilities and free parking perfect for motorbikes. Mini bar in room helpful in such hot weather and bar next to reception great plus lots of sofas around to relax. Super friendly professional and helpful staff that speak great English.

This was a gem of a find! Jorge was great at the desk, very kind and helpful! The hotel offers a pool, bar and breakfast service. Our stay was excellent!

The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice of cereal, yogurt, breads and hot food and the location was very central to the town. The gentleman on reception was excellent, very kind and knowledgeable.
