Fabulous setting overlooking River and very central. Calm relaxed hotel and pleasant staff

High price of bike hire at hotel but bikes are not maintained and broken rusty parts and brakes made our bike ride risky. Tepid shower water. Very poor breakfast with items not replaced so very limited selection for price. Strange room design with tea making in a cupboard difficult to get at. Great pool but sauna and Turkish bath never on. Great view from room though.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel in the heart of Arcos de Valdevez for a family weekend, as we had a baptism on Sunday. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s modern, conveniently located in the town center, and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our spacious room comfortably accommodated five of us—me, my parents, my brother, and my niece. The views from the room were lovely, adding to our pleasant experience. We enjoyed the complimentary indoor swimming pool and spa facilities, which were available 24 hours a day—a rare and much-appreciated feature! We even took advantage of a midnight swim. Breakfast was included in our stay, and for a small fee, we had it delivered to our room both mornings, which was a delightful convenience. The food throughout our stay was fantastic, and the hotel provided everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The hotel is cute and staff is very friendly, everything is clean and well-designed. It was a nice surprise to get a small present for my husband's birthday, it was so lovely.

Not really a big deal, but the hotel is tiny and everything is small, but taking into account awesome location and lack of space around, it's fine. Also, the dinner serving was a bit slow for us, around two hours, but maybe we have to learn how to slow down :).

The room was an upgrade from booking.com. For this reason, my room was magnificent. The view was especially very, very beautiful. The room was spacious, clean, well lit, and had adequate air conditioning.

The safe in the room was not working properly. There was a lot of chlorine in the pool water at the spa. There was dirt on the pool from use.

Hotel sat along side a river with all the wild life to see, lovely view, great location. Staff friendly, large room and clean, good breakfast plenty to choose from. Secure parking for motorcycle, but charged for parking 10 Euros if reserved.

On checking in at reception, there was an unbearable strong smell of automatic air freshener, it was that bad, when having a glass of wine in the evening the wine glasses had an aroma of this scent and you could taste it on the glass. Parking charge for motorcycle, it was free if not reserved, but would have to move it if some one had paid and needed your space.

Right in the center with an amazing view We had a balcony with a river view which was great. Very comfortable and spacious The 24h inside pool is a great perk for a night swim or an early morning. Great breakfast also

The staff was very supportive, especially when things weren't going great!

The menu available in the room's tablet wasn't updated. On Mondays, it seems there might be some... issues related to missing human resources. The bathroom sink had mold that you can only see from a specific angle. The room's mini bar wasn't working.

The staff is kind and very welcoming. They got us some special treats for my mother's birthday 😃 The food in the restaurant is of great quality, well cooked and with local ingredients. The location of this hotel by itself is worth the stay. Our rooms were impeccable.

One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was the indoor pool open 24h. Unfortunately there was a flood recently and the water in the pool was colder than normal which prevented some of us from enjoying the pool. Otherwise our stay was 10/10.

Location & location… right on the river, beautiful views, sounds and birdsong! The illumination of bridge at night …very romantic. The sites the quaint town and the whole river area for ambling about. Good spacious room & modern bathroom. A varied & good breakfast. Good pool ( but tired area) All staff very polite, kind and welcoming.

A mix up of room booked but otherwise sorted very efficiently and politely! Thank you! i found the hotel tired & dated esp the spa area, nothing was working not sauna nor steam room ( the present photos 2022 ) do not show the actual level of hotel. some parts are removed and others forgotten .

Excellent Breakfast. Perfect location in beautiful small town. We swam in river and the pool. It was a very hot time of the year. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
