A lovely traditional Portuguese house set in the beautiful, extensive grounds of most fabulous vineyard/quinta. It was a short walk into Ponte de Lima through the amazing old gardens of the property. Only 15 minutes walk to the mediaeval bridge, but it felt like you were on a country estate. There was also a fantastic swimming pool right next to the houses. Our host Filipe was very welcoming, and the breakfasts provided were superb and set you up for the day. Ponte de Lima is a beautiful city with plenty to do, we would recommend kayaking on the river and the garden exhibition. We stayed 2 nights but would have liked to do more.

You had to walk a short way (maybe 300m) besdide a busy road into town but the beauty of the garden walk and river walk either side of this small section more than compensated for this.

I’m would rate this 20 out of 10 if I could. The accommodation was superb and in keeping with the history of the family farm. Felipe was so welcoming and helpful and fitted in with our Camino schedule. There was a ( very welcome) bottle of wine and water in the fridge after a long hot day of walking and a swimming pool to enjoy. The accommodation is on the Camino route with a lovely 15 minute walk into Ponte de Lima. Probably the best accommodation I have stayed in over three Camino walks. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Such a warm welcome. The roses down the driveway gave a feel for this gracious, traditional Portuguese farmhouse. It’s a beautiful property with lovely old fashioned furnishings but all modern conveniences. Our room was large and comfortable. The fridge had a bottle of complimentary Vino Verde. Breakfast was excellent and very generous. Philippe was so obliging and helpful. He gave very helpful advice about our evening meal and rang for a taxi for us.

A joy of a location within easy walking distance of Ponte de Lima, set in a beautiful vineyard. A delightful and extremely helpful Filipe greeted us and showed us round. We enjoyed a very peaceful afternoon by the pool, a walk in to town for dinner in the evening, a very comfortable nights sleep, and a fabulous breakfast served on our terrace before we departed. The perfect start to our holiday!

Fantastic place, yes, it may be a little dated but that simply adds to the charm. The hosts are absolutely amazing, so friendly and generous, the breakfast was delicious, the pool so welcome after a very hot motorcycle ride to get there and there recommendation for a restaurant resulted in a delicious meal that evening. I would not hesitate to book the next time we’re in the area.

Absolutely dreamy! Beautiful house on a working vineyard, surrounded by fruit trees and ivy. Our little apartment was spacious and well-equipped, comfortable beds and crisp linens. We had our breakfast served outside by the pool, and enjoyed wandering around the estate, visiting the chickens and watching the little lizards scamper about.

Nothing! It was perfect in every way.

This place is fantastic for the following reasons: amazing owner that communicates, walking distance from puente medieval, superb swimming pool and lodging; great breakfast, quiet and bucolic, do not even hesitate to book this place.

There is nothing I did not like... maybe yogurt or fruits at breakfast ? but so trivial compare to what we got.

Big apartment house. Breakfast was brought to our terrace. Big clean pool. Check in was with the owner and he has reception in his own house which is next to apartment house. Owner helps with everything what we need. They did laundry for free for us and also sell us bottle of their wine only for 5euros.

Casa de Roseira is a beautiful family owned casa on the edge of town. It has a beautiful well established garden surrounding the family home and accommodation. The accommodation was spacious with a separate lounge and table area and a lovely terrace looking onto shrubbery. It was an easy 10 minute walk to local restaurants and 15 minutes to the old town

Our favorite stay on the Camino! A restful beautiful property! Filipe was a wonderful host.So kind and very helpful. He told us where to go to get an issue fixed with the rental car. The mechanic had it resolved in 10 minutes and his shop was close by. Would definitely stay there again!
