This place is absolutely beautiful. I liked that it's old houses with fitting 'old' interior. Well equipped kitchen. There's only 6 apartments in total, so it's quiet and the gardens are very relaxing to walk around in with little seats everywhere. Also enjoyed the pool with a view. Host was very nice in showing me around the property and telling a bit more about the history. Would definitely stay here again.

It's good to have a car if you book this place. I was on foot and it's a bit uphill. Manageable, but it was a challenge with the suitcase.

It got very hot and there were no fans. We can do without air-conditioning but fans are a must. I recall something in the instruction book about asking at reception but they were gone for the day by the time we realised. Perhaps they can keep an eye on the weather and put out fans if it's going to be hot.

Loved the whole property, the pool, my „house“, it was really super cosy and confortable. Also nice that I got 2 big bottles of water on arrival. Those were helpful after coming from the Neopop festival.

Soap/shampoo/shower gel should be handled in a more modern way in 2024 please. Those things were really cheap and bad and do not fit into your wonderful Quinta. Just replace them with products of a better quality. Still a 10 stars review from me!

This house is one of the most wonderful surprises of our trip to Portugal.Authentic presence of history in the architecture and interior, wildly beautiful,verdant garden.Landscape-precise swimming pool allowed us to fully recover from our stop in Camino. Thank you to this welcoming place, next time we will definitely stay there.

The views of the city, the river and the beaches are wonderful. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is pristine. The spacious apartments with fireplaces and full cooking facilities were extraordinary. The exotic bird aviaries were an unexpected plus.

The receptionist only spoke Portuguese.

Perfectly quite for its location near the city. Cozy fireplace for the cooler nights which set the ambience for a glass of wine...or two or three. The large covered patio w/table and loungers sheltered us on the rainy days. The plush and comfortable bed ensured us no shortage of sleep. The unit had all the necessary kitchen utensils for us prepare our own meals. Perfect for longer stays!!

The fixed lighting outside projects toward our unit and was very bright. However they did turnoff around midnight. This made it hard to enjoy the night sky before then.

This beautiful property is located just above Viana do Castelo and you feel as though you are miles away from any town. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the staff so helpful. The cottages are well equipped, clean and quiet. You can easily access all the sights and town from this location.

Bed was not that comfortable and very noisy when you turned over

Loved the rustic and historical charm. The views were incredible. The pool was fantastic. The bedding was so comfortable. Enjoyed our stay so much we extended to a 2nd night.

I would have appreciated more coffee and sugar.

The apartment was lovely and so clean. If you get apartment 4 and plan to self cater it’s very dark in the kitchen area. The housekeeping staff do an excellent job! The bed is firm but comfortable. Lots of hot water 👍. The proprietors are very quick to answer any questions or concerns you have and do it very pleasantly. Be aware we are not super light sleepers but with the shutters closed and the windows closed we could not block out the sound of the peacocks.

That we didn’t get a good sleep due to the peacocks. Most people mustn’t self cater as there are no oven mitts or pot holders (makes it difficult to take something from the oven or microwave).

The property and the accommodations are absolutely stunning; it is nestled on a densely forced slope overlooking the town and ocean, and just below the basilica.
