WE thoroughly enjoyed our week in Inatel Foz. We feel that the hotel needs improvements to make the stay more enjoyable. First of all the room we stayed in was advertised as a mountain view, but it was a slope 2 metres from the room window. The room was also extremely small. The Tuc Tuc service should be far more regular in September than it was. My wife and I, early 60's, found the extremely steep hills very tough, and left us with aches and pains. Perhaps you should advise your clients of this in the advertisements. The pool was very difficult to find and was a very strenuous walk up steep hill to get to it. On the positive side, the Hotel is in a superb location with beautiful gardens, and a view to die for, a paradise. The Staff from Reception to the Breakfast room and the Cleaning ladies were extremely helpful and very friendly, top marks to your staff. The Breakfast itself was top class, we enjoyed eating our lovely Breakfast looking at the view and being looked after by wonderful Staff. We would return to the Hotel again, but would book a room with a sea view, and we feel that the rental of a car is essential. We recommend that you advise future guests to hire a car.

Location was very good, across the street from the beach. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the ample free parking. Also, my room had a bathtub!

Weekend breakfast starts at 8 - no possibility to get fruit/snack if you have to leave earlier

The hotel was exceptional, the room, location, price we paid exceeded our expectations. The hot breakfast food was disappointing but the choice of continental breakfast items was good.

Nice views, cleanly maintained rooms and hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh bread and pastries. Infinity pool was nice and with greay views as it was in a small climb from rooms.

A/C shut down once possibly due to frequent adjustments but it was fixed quickly once notifying reception.

My room (123) had the most beautiful view of the lagoon. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. I will definitely return to Inatel In Foz do Arelho.

On the first floor of Building 1, the glass step by the lift should be a much wider yellow band to prevent accidents, as it looks like a continuous glass floor and one can easily miss the step. I did, and another lady missed that same step the same day with worse consequences.

Every aspect of our stay at the hotel was a delight. Very helpful and courteous staff, attractive grounds, huge common areas and a good cafe, stunning location perched high above the lagoon, large comfortable room overlooking the lagoon, excellent buffet breakfast included in the price and a good value buffet meal in the evening. We were so impressed that we're considering staying in other Inatel Hotels in Portugal and on its islands.

The coffee from the machine in the morning was a surprising disappointment, but then again I'm particular about my coffee

The breakfast was fantastic! Great variety and freshness of food. The location was dreamy, waking up to views of the lagoon. Everything was clean and well maintained.

The stay was superb. If I’m going to be petty, we could have done with more sockets in the room to plug in our electricals. But that’s just really a detail.

Great location, the whole place outside looked a little untidy and tired, the room was large and with a very comfortable bed. Hot water took 5 minutes to get warm. Nearly gave up!
