The Appartment was great and spacious. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with most of the necessities for a few dinners at home (a strainer would be a nice plus ☺️) Praia Bom Successo (just a 5 min drive away) was the nicest beach of our stay in Portugal, with a calm lagoon on one side for small kids to play with and not be caught in big waves, and then on the other side the open ocean with its nice not so big waves.

The resort is a bit isolated (20-25 min drive to the nearest town/supermarket) As we stayed in the Appartment , we had to have breakfast at the clubhouse which was a bit of a walk, and less food options were offered than in the hotel’s breakfast

External lighting to access property needed replacement lights and upper floor lighting didn’t work at all. Ants accessing bathroom of 1st floor property was a little concerning. No slippers or dressing gowns were provided, in the apartment whereas they are in the hotel rooms. Underground Car Parking ensured your vehicle was safe and secure. Taking Breakfast in the Golf Clubhouse and not in the hotel restaurant was unexpected. Especially during inclement weather conditions. Ocean Views were terrific, apartments were well equipped and spacious. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning very effective. In the past we have stayed in the hotel where more luxuries are available.

We had a lovely stay over the New Year period. The flats were warm and the beds comfortable during our stay. We were fortunate enough to be in the first row of apartments, overlooking the golf course and coast, therefore had a fantastic view. The apartment was well equipped. Wifi worked well throughout. We also appreciated the vast array of breakfast options every morning. Everything was, as described by the Resort, as advertised and we had a very satisfactory stay.

Being part of a 5 star hotel it would have been great to have slippers and bathrobes for the pool and spa already in our rooms. I would recommend some anti-slip tape on the marble stairs near the indoor pool, as it gets quite wet and slippery.

Breakfast + pool + sauna and the big apartment!! fantastic!

There was a private event that was only informed 2 or 3 weeks before the check in (I made the resrvation before christmas!), and the hotel was basically just for the evemt. There were lots of areas that were blocked for us. The main reception and hall, breakfast and meals and outside swimming pool areas were "blocked" for us. we felt like "outsiders". If I knew this before hand, I would have cancelled the rservation and pushed it for another time! On the other hand, I asked for late check-out and they granted us this, wich was very nice !

The room was very large with a great bathtub. The spa was pleasant and the breakfast was superb. The nearby beach and the paths through the beach area were lovely. The local scenery is wonderful but inaccessible on foot because of all of the fences. The staff are very helpful and the public areas are nice too.

Royal Obidos has a great golf course with lots of nice pathways, including a perimeter path. However, it was unclear whether it was possible to use the perimeter path to run. The resort next door had paths available for running and exploring. Both resorts are walled, meaning it is very difficult to explore the wonderful terrain on foot. As they're both golf resorts, they take up huge plots of land, but haven't paid attention to wonderful nature that should be available to everyone. There should be public pathways and bridelways to offer public and guest utility. This was annoying because the walk to the beach was thus a trail along new roads lined with souless houses and construction zones.

We loved everything!! The spa is absolutely amazing. I'd recommend getting a massage or treatment. The breakfast is outstanding. In addition to the wide range of food on the buffet, the staff come and ask if you'd like anything cooked (eggs, pancakes, or crepes). The bed is huge and super comfortable. The staff are wonderful. Very, very friendly, and they were so lovely to our.5 year old daughter. The indoor pool is fantastic. (So is the outdoor one, but it was a little bit too cold to use it!) The Cobalt restaurant (within the hotel) is wonderful. The desserts are to die for! Our daughter loved the little mini macarons we were given with our coffee. I also want to say thank you for the beautiful detail at breakfast on my husband's birthday. If you're celebrating your birthday during your stay, prepare for something lovely at breakfast ;-) The surrounding area is beautiful. The lake and the beach. Óbidos town is stunning. A must-see. We also drove up to Nazare, which is a great coastal town.

There is nothing that we didn't like. Everything was fantastic and done with care and detail.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel boasts a great location, making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. There was also a decent selection of snacks and meals available throughout the day at the bar and restaurant. The facilities were impressive, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment room was spacious and well-designed.

I loved the room, the bathroom with a bathtub was excellent, and the surroundings were marvellous. The bed was big and very comfortable. The couples massage we booked was one of the best I have had. Both masseuses were very professional and knowledgeable. People were very nice and helpful. The sauna and steam room in the spa were great.

The spa was alright, but I expected the indoor swimming pool to have neck-jet water cannons and other water cascades inside the pool. Breakfast was good and tasty with quality food. However, I found it a bit basic for a 5-star hotel. I would recommend offering Netflix or some other streaming platform on the TV to allow guests to relax watching a movie if they want to.

Very comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Good sports facilities.

The cleaning seemed to be very unorganised. This might be a Portuguese thing as we had problems with the boutique hotel in Cascais we stayed in before Obidos, and also with the PortoBay Teatro where we stayed for two nights after Obidos. This has never happened in any other country! Stayer's rooms need to be cleaned withing 11.00 really, and leavers rooms from 11.00 to whatever check-in time they have. But whenever we would come back after our morning activities the rooms were not done. Irritating.

Beautiful setting, massive apartment space, the two bed apartment is a whole other space, very good breakfast, staff were lovely and helpful.4 pools, reasonable gym, good sauna

Odd layout of hotel so you had to walk through either the bar or the car park to get between gym and pool, constant Muzak at low level, however these are trivial and would happily come here again
