I love this place since I’ve been here for the first time!!! It’s my 5th time in this amazing place, and I definitely will come back again! The level of details is impressive, starting from custom made wooden furniture, adding extra coziness; comfy bed with crispy clean bed sheets; nice shower products, and finishing with an impeccable breakfast, that I looked forward to every morning. Very important feature for this area - it’s warm! Who knows how humid it can be close to the ocean, would appreciate it to feel warm and relaxed inside. A/c for cooling is there too, but I like that by default the space is warm. HUGE advantage is the room to store surf boards and to wash wetsuits. Who knows no need to explain how nice is to wash and dry your wetsuit not in a hotel shower but dedicated to this purpose space:) The service is great as well, very attentive receptionists, nothing to add to their perfect work. The overall tidiness is just so satisfying!!! And lastly, I love that I can have such a level of service in the boutique hotel, not a huge chain brand.

We loved the kindness of the staff, the fantastic location, the absolutely delicious breakfast, the basement cage for surf gear, and the quaint decor. This is a really beautiful B&B-style hotel that is quiet and relaxed but still ideally located next to the surf breaks. Bonus - a surf shop (for board rental) shares the building. Free (dirt) parking and free afternoon coffee.

We have only a few small suggestions. The mirrors/bathroom lighting are cute and match the decor but are not very useful. Also, a full length (or even half length) mirror is standard and should be added. I had to stand on the bed to try to use the bedroom mirror. The mounted TV was too small and too far away from the bed to be viewed. Also, some standard amenities were missing. No tissue. No ledge or rack in the shower so toiletries had to go on the floor. No beach towels were provided though the hotel is otherwise a perfect set-up for surfers. We asked for a beach towel and they found us one but acted like it was an odd request. Maybe we missed instructions to bring your own beach towel?

The place is spick and span clean! Inside out, the common place, the small garden, down in the equipement room and in the rooms, everywhere! breakfast was superb. I had a room with a large balcony, it was so nice to sit there especially in the afternoons, after surfing cold Atlantic water, sunbathing and sipping tea brought to my room by the lovely staff... The experience of staying in Silver Coast exceeded my expectations.

Breakfast was good, locally sourced. Loation was good.

Just felt it was a little expensive. I had booked from outside of Portugal and didn't know the area. Having arrived, I found a number of places (some 4 star) at comporable prices. Parking was in the street. Fairly noisy with passing traffic. Limited restaurant opportunities, but what there was had a nice vibe.

Absolutely everything about my stay was fantastic from the warm greeting to a fresh and delicious breakfast before departure. The property smells like a cedar spa, everything was incredibly clean, and I had the best shower I can ever remember at a hotel. Amazing water pressure. Very comfortable bed with high quality linens made for a perfect sleep. It’s a two minute walk from the beach and probably the most high end property in Baleal. Well worth the cost and a perfect stop heading up the coast.

Amazing experience here. Well-designed, sparkling clean building and rooms; everything looked brand new, organized, and tidy at all times. Rooms were extremely comfortable with great beds, showers, and view of the waves so we could see how the surf was from our balcony. Storage for boards and wetsuits was spotless, secure, and convenient. Staff was so friendly and helpful, giving us tips on rentals and other surf spots. Breakfast was fresh, local, and beautifully presented each day. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Nothing to dislike, this place was one of the best parts of our trip.

Perfect location, sweet staff, nice design (ambiance), good breakfast, clean everything, good for surfers with storage for boards and easy cleaning, its proximity to different beaches, sound proof despite busy road/other rooms, nice garden, nice furniture. Would love to come back.

I was impressed by the quality of the finishes, the quality of the materials, built to last. The location is perfect, we could see the surfers from our balcony on both sides of the isthmus leading to Baleal Island. Then breakfast was great, you could have an omelet made, if you liked.

Nice, clean and well situated residence near the beach. Depending on the room can have a good view to the sea.

- The blackouts on the windows aren’t doing their job at 100% (lots of light in the early morning) - the doors should have a more efficient silent mechanism (we woke up at 7am with other guests slamming with the door on the way out) - the parking near the hotel is not easy, in high season there is lot of traffic

The staff was so nice and the rooms were cozy and romantic (though a little smaller than expected but it didnt matter). The breakfast was good and the hotel is really close to the beach.
