Dorms were private and clean. Spare bathroom facilities if the dorm toilet was busy. Kitchen had everything! I was very pleased with my stay, especially for the price. They even had a live concert/ singer for two evenings as a one off! Lots of activities to do, good location to bike or surf! Looks like a tattoo studio was even being built within the hostel. Staff Andrew, Theo, Joshua, and Bruno were brilliant!

Bed springs hurt after a time. Seagulls were LOUD in the mornings, so bring earplugs. Could only buy alcohol from the hostel and not elsewhere. Lockers could not fit a backpack but good for small valuables. Late nightlife was the other side of the bay in Baleal.

Super spacious, great amenities, EXTREMELY easy to make friends with strangers even in winter. It has a very inviting space with such fun things to do such as pool, table tennis, PlayStation, card games, etc. Also the staff was incredible and I enjoyed their company very much, they are more than just reception they are also people you relate to and have fun with, some names would Theo, Tatiana, and Bruno, they are all the best!

I disliked nothing but I do feel like they could add a surfboard rental service. I mean it would make them more money and be super useful for the people staying at the hostel. Other than that I hope they keep the free breakfast as well because that was something that made me want to stay at this hostel as well.

This is the second time I stayed and I just love this place, the vibe, set up. It's literally my favourite hostel and I sleep sooo well here too.

It's a shame that there are some changes. The breakfast is now paid for and not worth the €7 and what this means is that there are fewer people together at the key points in the day which really brings people together. Same for the happy hour it was a key time where you'd all make the effort to be in the main area.

Friendly nice staff, a lot of zones and amenities, anything you could imagine to spend your time there and socialize if you wish, spacious, clean rooms and common areas, both a bathroom in the room and a lot of bathrooms outside the rooms. You can also book various activities with the hostel! They have a 🐈‍⬛ (cat)! I did like the location too, convenient to have a walk in the city, get to the parking lot, bus station or some of the beaches.

Water was cool or cold any time I wanted to take a shower. I think I waited enough for the boiler to be ready with hot water and didn't want to waste water. I let the staff know, so probably this will be resolved or was not an issue. Maybe I had to wait for even longer.

A common space where you can have a great time in the evening. We used everything that was there (billiards, tennis, etc.). The room was quiet, and none of the neighbors were noisy. We didn't buy breakfast, but from what I saw on the table in the morning, you could have a very filling breakfast. I really liked the young man at the reception; he was sociable and friendly. Our stay at the hostel was very comfortable.

The bunk bed was located almost right at the entrance of the room, which was not very comfortable. There were no chairs nearby, so there was nowhere to sit except on the bottom bunk.

This hostel is honestly the best hostel I've ever been to. I loved the curtains and separate light and charging port in each bed which made it super easy not to disturb people. The breakfast was so nice each day and great value to set me up for each day. The pool table, table tennis and skateboards just meant that every moment here was filled.with fun. I travelled.on my own and had the absolute best time, meeting so many wonderful, fun and adventure seeking people. I can't wait to come back!!! Thank you WOT x

That I had to leave. Honestly couldn't fault it

WOT Hostel in Peniche is a great place to stay, especially if you're planning a longer visit. It offers all the essentials you need for an extended stay, including friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Many guests are there for surfing, so it's easy to connect with like-minded people. The open common area is a fantastic spot for socializing, working remotely, or relaxing with games. It's a perfect blend of convenience and community.

The beds in the shared rooms feel a bit claustrophobic, as they are designed like wooden boxes. If you're looking for more comfort, you’ll likely need to pay for an upgrade. The breakfast is also quite basic, offering only cereals, oats, milk, and some Nutella or jam—there's no real source of protein included.

I had a great time. The hostel is lovely - decorated, clean, tidy and well organised. There were not too many people there and so it was very relaxed. The dorns are a bit away from the common area meaning that the evening fun does not wake up the sleepers. Being well organised meant that it was easier for people to keep it tidy and clean. The dorms were cosy and clean, including the bathroom. The top beds didnt have a curtain but the lovely staff were very acommodating and provided us wuth a towel as a solution. The beds were squeeking only a little. I paid 15e (wuth a doscount from booking), but I would be willing to pay mote for this quality. My only suggestion would be some more hooks in the bathroom to hang stuff. Otherwise, 10/10 - I felt more comfortable than in many single rooms.

This is a very special place! It’s a one size fits all hostel. They have mixed dorms, single rooms, rooms for families, camper vans, surf storage, kid friendly, animal friendly, and everyone is really friendly! There are work spaces, many people were working remote. The common area feels like a summer camp; there are so many activities; pool table, darts, foozball, etc yoga area. The showers are great. They have a very affordable bar and activities each night. It was very easy to meet people. I’m my 3 days there I made many friends from all around the world. This was by far the best hostel I’ve ever been to. I can’t wait to go back!

I liked the location. It is close to the beaches, city center and restaurants.

A room with 6 bunks. Was very uncomfortable and someone was snoring. The room didn’t have the ventilation. The bunk bed mattress was uncomfortable very. I’m not used to this.
