What a gem this place is! Hosts Luis and Nadia are welcoming and helpful in sending you to all the best castles, gardens and beaches. The Portuguese coast region is a Mecca for surfers, but even for a non-surfer elder woman, staying here was the highlight of my visit to Portugal. It became a home; the lovely girls on staff (Tina, Vivi, Jule and Malwina) and young German guests included me as if I were their grandmother. I am an experienced world traveler but have never felt like I was family the minute I arrived.

Loved the location, the hosts were really nice and helpful. Place was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was perfect. After some bad accomodation experiences in Lisbon this place was a real blessing, simple but lovely. Thanks for everything :) And special thanks for the recommendation to visit Obidos, loved that place too. :)

The hostel is just by the beach and has everything you need. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful. Easy to surf/store kit and felt very secure. We were there just before the end of the season so felt quite quiet but it’s clear there is much more going on in the area during Summer. Lots of surf options nearby and the owner has plenty of helpful advice if needed.

Nice guest house. So relaxing, right on the beach, tiny town centre walking distance but if you want to go to Peniche town centre you would have to drive. The owner was a really lovely man, treated all guests like friends. Breakfast was yummy too.

The water in my shower was cold 2 out of 3 days that we were there. If you walked over to the other house there was hot water, but it was a bit of an inconvenience.

The location was incredible with the sea side right at the front door. Luis was incredibly helpful and insightful about the surfing spots and surfing classes available. The hostel offered everything needed to get the best surfing sessions. Breakfast was great and had a variety of food for all ages and needs.

Made a last-minute booking at this property. Great location, and wonderful views. Most guests were younger surfers from many places around the globe. All were super friendly and fun. The owner was very helpful and joined us all for breakfast and shared lots of local knowledge and information. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices. Definitely worth the money for a short or long stay.

Probably my fault as I thought it had a private bathroom. It did not. I'm guessing its normal for a hostel. Not really a dislike just not my preference...

The breakfast was great and the hosts were amazingly nice and friendly. They were super helpful and lovely. The place was very clean with great shared facilities (kitchen, bathroom, washing, etc.). They were able to set up surf lessons for us, which were also great. The place was very close to the beach, less than a five minute walk.

Lovely view of uninterrupted sand and surf. Lulled us to sleep.

Breakfast - although included - was only offered starting at 9 am. Both mornings we had a schedule that meant we had to leave before breakfast was set up. Maybe we didn't know but I would have liked at least an early coffee service.

Luís is a fantastic host that will provide anything you need. He is also a surfer and has valuable knowledge about the region ! Thanks to him I was always on the right spots for my level and had a great time surfing! Will come back for sure!

Very friendly staff creating a family-like atmosphere, making guests feel at home. It is also very clean and peaceful, The surrounding area and beach are beautiful. Luis, the owner, is charming and very knowledgeable, especially about surfing. Breakfast is tasty, with good coffee, freshly baked warm rolls and more. guests can sit together and share stories about their travel experiences.
