⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing stay — we’ll be back! We had the most incredible time at Ride Surf Resort & Spa — everything from the location to the energy of the place was spot on, but what truly made it special was the staff. A huge thank you to Henrique, Leonor, and Mafalda, who went above and beyond to make our stay feel warm, fun, and welcoming. Every interaction was kind and genuine, and they were always happy to help, whether it was sorting surf lessons, giving local tips, or just having a laugh with us. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The facilities were brilliant — great food, awesome vibes, and loads to do for every age. Can’t wait to come back for more surf, sun, and good times. hi, I liked everything, except- the breakfast offer. Its variety was very different - some of the days much poorer than on other days. Of course, there was always enough to have a nice breakfast, but for example - on the first day they offered guacamole ❤️, but during the next 9 days it was this only one time:( Or, one day you had a fantastic salad as a side dish to the continental breakfast offer. So all the rest of the days the offer of greens was pure - only tomatoes and cucumber. The same with the variety of cheeses, or none of the days was offered fish (salmon or tuna f.exmpl) Finally - it was not that it wasn't enough, everything was tasty and fresh - but kind of there was no consequence in breakfast offer (price 14EUR).

Got upgraded to a superior room during low season which was nice. Great place with lots of activities to do. Including a small skate park and surf skate / skateboard hire. Board rentals were great, had some good options of boards to hire that weren’t soft tops for us intermediates. Plus dry wetsuits available. Warm outdoor showers, steam room, sauna, gym, everything is here. Buffet breakfast was a bit pricey but ended up well worth the money. It’s a one stop shop basically. Which was convenient because in low season nothing was really around close to the area unless you wanna walk 15 mins. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing place with great facilities, our kids were always entertained. Our little toddler was impossible to pull away from the trampoline. Everyone is so nice and attentive to us. Pedro and Wando, the surf coaches were great! Dinner was great too, were surprised how good it was actually! Great location close to Baleal and not too far from Peniche, just a dune away from the ocean. So really a good value for money!

The breakfast was too basic. Some of the things would be good if clarified upfront, eg Free bottle of wine can be taken only during a dinner, nowhere on voucher was it clarified, breakfast is prepared only for people who booked it, nowhere it was mentioned etc.

This property is a gem. The facilities are amazing for an active couple who also want some relaxation time. The food at breakfast offered great choice. The restaurant has a small but tasty menu. Staff so helpful and friendly.

Some drawer space in the bedroom would have been handy rather than just the wardrobe but that is literally it.

The surf resort was very clean, modern and comfortable. We enjoyed the large common area, where we had drinks, read and played games. We also enjoyed the spa services--the spa staff, Anna and Cal, were terrific. The bartender was super nice. Breakfast was good and plentiful. My husband and daughter enjoyed their surf lesson.

The restaurant was only okay. They did not have several items on the menu. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path. You could walk to more restaurants in Baleal within about 20 minutes.

Attendant made a tour of the facilities, taking us to our room. Very appreciated. Two room cards were supplied without asking. Perfect! Clean rooms, equipped by safe and small wardrobe. Quick check-in and quick reacting reception. We had some trouble with safe and reception was very helpful on solving the issue. Breakfast with a lot of options, also for previously announced special requirements, like gluten-free or vegane. Close to the beach, reachable by feet. Perfect for surfing vacation. Playground for children, nice external swimming pool, wet and dry saunas, external whirppool, large lawn at inner patio, gym. It seems that there are charging points for electrical vehicles. I didn't use them but if available forguests, this is a very positive point. Nice bar with generous drink sizes, but a bit high level pricing. Our room was equipped by a nice balcony with view to patio and seats, enabling drying of wet clothes during the night outside of appartment. Beach and cliff of Nazaré is relatively close to Peniche (about 45 minutes by car).

Some details cloud a small bit of the general good impression: - For our well feeling, matress was too hard. - We missed a hanger of wet clothes on the balcony. - The whirlpool could get some maintenance as the water was smelling bad, maybe too much chlorine. - Receptionist was often fully busy, meanwhile some hotel people were twaddling in the kitchen or close to the gym and not helping the receptionist on some activities like bar attendance, hotel tours.

The hotel looks very new , I booked last minute and arrived late but was very well received and felt welcomed. Even used the spa after hours which was a plus after hours of traveling. I had a very quiet and relaxing night . The breakfast was simple but good . The place is walking distance from the beach which was perfect for a morning walk . Also the gym and big and well equipped with lots of options for a good workout !

Very good game room, I particularly loved the old-school arcade console with hundreds of games which brought me back to my childhood. Moreover, the breakfast had a minor variety compared to big hotel chains I typically use for work, but the quality of each dish served was very high. Well done

The restaurant in the evening had a very poor offer. Only two items were left when we sit around 8pm: hamburger and pasta. On the other hand, the waitress was very polite and kind.

Wonderful place to stay for surfers. The room was very comfortable and clean, spacious with a little terrace too! Housekeeping every day with fresh towels was appreciated. The staff super friendly, and everything related to surfer community life is great (sofas and TVs, table for working, pingpong, etc), and great to have use of the wetsuit room, board rentals, spa, etc to relax after being in the ocean.

I could hear people in the room next door.
