The hotel I keep coming back to from my very first arrival to Baleal years ago. Super lovely family business. In amazing location! Ocean is only a few steps away. Supermarket in front. Very comfortable rooms. I never looked for some other place to stay, as this one has all I need and it’s simply perfect! And the people, who run it, amazing! thank you for another great stay!

We've been to Baleal before & must say our stay here was really great.Extremely good location,such helpful & friendly hosts, excellent value & quality breakfast...& really comfy rooms with lovely crisp linen. What a wonderful stay we had here!

Nothing serious to report... maybe the bathroom towels could be softer...just so you know & can maybe improve.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The proximity to the beach was a definite highlight, making it convenient for beach lovers like me. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and I appreciated the comfortable accommodations. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great start to each day. I stayed in a three-bedroom room, which provided ample space and comfort. I can't wait to return here in the future!

Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Location is great! The hotel is right on the main road which wouldn't be a problem if you could close the double glazed doors and put on air conditioning but there is no air conditioning so expect some road noise. The staff are very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Hotel is opposite the grocery shop/ restaurant with the best toasted sandwiches - very convenient.

Shower could be a little warmer.

The hotel was very affordable compared to the other places around the area. It was not a surf hotel, necessarily, but offered surfboard and wetsuit rentals that allowed me to go surfing in the morning. It seems like a family-run hotel. The receptionists were very friendly.

I could not think of anything that I didn't like about the place.

The hotel was easy to find, easy to park and great location. From the moment we entered the reception we were checked in by a friendly staff member. Our room was clean and spacious with a large bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. Overall a relaxing experience and very good value for money.

Nothing to highlight...

The location is great! Very close to the beach and supermarket. Breakfast was cheap (5euro) and delicious! There were many options: fruits, many kinds of bread, cheese, ham, cakes, granola, yogurts etc! Rooms were cleaned everyday. Staff was great, very nice and helpful.

Furnitures were quite old and sometimes dirty

The room was very large. The staff were lovely. The location was great.

There is a building being built next door and they start at something like 6am so it is pretty noisy. Also there is no kettle or coffee machine in the room which is common in Portugal but very annoying! Breakfast was really mediocre.

Excellent location. 5 minute shortcut walk to the beach. Breakfast was sufficient and great value for money. Lovely selection of fresh fruit 😊

Can't fault it. Friendly staff, very, very clean. Top marks for cleanliness. Lovely to have a balcony. Brilliant location. Definitely returning next year for a longer stay. Baleal is a stunning place. 👊👊

Room was huge with a balcony and a nicely sized washroom. The included breakfast was nice and hearty and set you up for the day. Located on the main surfing street.

Nothing stood out. Overall was great value.
