The hotel is very close to the forest entry, laybe the closes among all the hotels in luso. It's also very close to the village square, some restaurants and markets. People are very nice, although they generally don't speak languages other than portuguese, we always managed to communicate.

Our check-in was planned for 1pm, but due to some errors, maybe from booking.com, the hotel thought it was at 3pm. We also booked the hotel for the view, at the forest. Unfortunately, according to the lady at the reception, no room was available, which is a surprise because we only met one person in the hotel during our stay.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with tastefully renovated facilities that reflect great attention to detail. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. António Gomes truly embodies the spirit of this concept — representing it with kindness, professionalism, a strong sense of customer service, and remarkable calmness.

Clean and spacious room/bathroom, several wall sockets available for charging our devices, extra pillow, tv with good reception, location in the center of Luso, friendly/helpful staff and breakfast with some nice touches like boiled eggs and Portuguese milk buns. Overall we had a great time at Hotel Central and will be back whenever we return to Luso.

The air conditioning can get a bit noisy at times if you need to use it and the light bulb in the bathroom mirror kept flickering like it was about to go out.

Quiet hotel with lovely views over the village. Easy walk to get to the shops and restaurants. Forest close by providing some great hikes.

No breakfast available when we were there and not much soundproofing in the hotel.

The hotel was ideally situated in the town. The owner was pleasant and had a smile. Although we cannot speak Portuguese and the owner had limited English we got by.

It's very convenient. Coffee shops and restaurants are close, and mount Bussaco is just nearby.

Liked everything. Nothing to dislike.

I felt like home. The bedroom was really comfortable, so spacious and clean, and also very quiet. Same with the bathroom, where everything was immaculate and really functional. The location is very central.

Vintage and comfortable super clean.

Since it is located next to a natural spring, they could have water for guests available in the room. Also a kettle, tea and coffee.

Everything is extremely clean and the room we stayed was really big! Way bigger than most 4* hotels. The location is great and the hotel was pretty quiet.

The breakfast does not have many options but considering the price and that this is a 2* hotel is more than fine!
