Great for families, safe and peaceful location, great breakfast. We liked the pool activities, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, there were plenty of sunbeds and the pools were spacious. We enjoyed the sports courts.

The breakfast could have more variety, for example red fruits. The cleaning of the pool at 9am with people in it. We thought it should have been after close. The cafe by the poor seemed badly explored, not very appealing, not clean and overpriced. There was no gym. There could be more kitchen utensils per flat perhaps. The evening animation could be more lively.

Spacious and clean apartment. Air conditioners in both rooms. Large terrace-balcony. They provide extra towels free of charge for the pool. The pool is clean and quite large. There were enough sunbeds, and we always found a place to relax. The hotel lobby is very beautiful. During dinner, a wonderful band was playing live music. There’s free table tennis and outdoor tennis available.

There is parking for cars, but it's not always possible to park right by the entrance — sometimes we had to use the farthest parking spot. There was no iron in the room; you need to request one from the reception.

The courteous and helpful reception desk staff made my late midnight check in stress free. The pool area is lovely and my apartment studio was very spacious with comfortable bed and mini kitchen, great bathroom too with bidet. I also had a beautiful view at the front of the hotel. A really lovely and much recommended stay. I used the on site restaurant for dinner one evening lovely staff and the set 3 course meal with one glass of wine included 25 euros. The wifi works throughout the hotel and never dropped out from my studio throughout the whole complex.

Such a beautiful hotel. Looks exactly how it's presented in the images. Everyone was very sweet, staff 10/10 they even called to let me know when my delivery driver arrived, cleaning ladies came in every day to ensure tidy stay, waitresses in the restaurant nearby always greet you with a smile. Swimming pools were gorgeous breakfast was really nice and so many options to choose. I would definitely come back absolutely loved.

Nothing much really but I do wish there was more Soya Milk available during breakfast it was so good

We had a very nice stay. The hotel is very clean, the staff nice and helpful. We even had a pleasant surprise - a little birthday treat 😊 if you get good weather, there is a pool, and other activities, if you want to stay in the hotel during the day. It was great to have the kitchen amenities in the room.

I wish breakfast would differ from day to day. During long stays it gets too boring. (We stays in another Turim hotel in Lisbon before coming to Estrela do Vau, so we had same breakfast 7 days in a row 😑

Staff was just amazing , I’m Portuguese and my husband is Scottish we went for 10 days and all the staff made an effort with everyone , the staff from Restaurante She’ll are just amazing , Specially Solange from the restaurant always so attentive. Just think it’s a bit expensive for 25 euros for a meal , I think it’s a bit expensive .

The hotel needs a bit of improvement in the swimming pool area as well as the playground for the kids as it was closed. The laundrette was also advertised but not available. The restaurant breakfast was good however the dinner was slightly cold and there weren’t many options for kids. There were also no basic foods like chips and rice which should be available every night. Overall it was okay, the swimming pool should be open longer and inflatables should be allowed in the pool.

Staff were generally extremely pleasant and helpful, food was very good. Pool was functional for children. It was very clean. Pillow choice and quality was good. Breakfast was superb and restaurant staff amazing! The pool bar is amazing value for money and the lady running is very nice and food is good and great value. Cheap ice cream and drinks and food all day. Great for families

Play park and gym broken or closed. Shower in apartment was poor and flooded the bathroom, the apartment was dated but clean. Hair drier was barely functional. Bed was uncomfortable and rock hard. Needs a refurb. Reception overnight was rude and abruptly told me on late arrival my room was canceled and seemed to enjoy scoring over me. The wait of up to 20 mins at reception was not good. Pool would benefit from music as would reception. It was on some days but mostly not.

The hotel was very clean, staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The pool area was well maintained, cleaned regularly, and has a lifeguard on duty. The pool area is secured when it is not in use, which is great when travelling with small children. The amenities like the tennis court, football pitches, and games room were well maintained and clean. There is a supermarket and mini market within walking distance of the hotel, and the small cafe/bar onsite has a good selection of food, drinks, and treats.

The cost of the buffet in the Shell Bar was quite expensive at 25 euro for an adult and 12.50 for a child with a limited selection available. We paid 125 euro the day we arrived and left the restaurant hungry.

Everything was super clean always and I’m a clean freak! Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Overall perfect place to stay. Everyone that works here is so friendly and nice. Would stay here again forsure. Enjoyed 4 nights wish I could’ve stayed longer.

a lot of ants but that’s the only complaint and it seems there’s ants everywhere no matter where you go in Portugal so it’s really not that big of a deal.

Nice pool, very big and clean! The food was great and the staff were very kind! Nice café and bar! And the times for eating were perfect, so it was amazing! And for the price it's so worth it, I will recommend for my friends and other families members 😎😎👍

The location of this hotel is not the best, but we can work with it and personally I think the rooms should be updated.
