Great location, the view was beautiful and it is right by a wonderful beach. Nice rooms and the outdoor pool area was great. Pool is cold.

It would have been nice to have a hot tub. The indoor pool had some sort of chemical in it that made my eyes water and sting so I wasn't able to use that pool more.

The room was very spacious, beds big and comfortable and the view from the sea view room was stunning. The staff were very accommodating as we added an extra nights stay and they let us stay in the same room. The breakfast was sooo good! I usually don't wake up for breakfast but I made sure I did for this one. The location is really good if you need to access Praia da Rocha.

Our room had a weird sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Also the phone wasn't working and we told reception but no one came to fix it.

The staff are all 5 star ++ from chamber maids upwards. The food is excellent.

The Hotel is listed as 5 star. The hotel is but the bedroom are not, they are tired and need attention

We had booked a garden view room which was a empty concrete pool at first until it was filled and a car park. We ended up paying to upgrade to sea view room which was stunning The restaurant at dinner was always a buffet

The resort was lovely unfortunately the weather was awful making it a bit of a downer.The 1st impression at check-in wasn't what I expected from a 5* hotel, then rating really to 3* The staff were exceptional,in each morning for breakfast, the welcome was warm and inviting especially Wrellen Toteia. Breakfast buffet was lovely..

The carpets in the breakfast/ dining area are old have past their sell by date,as dining area they need replaced. The shower was dirty/ stained and needs to be pulled out and make just a shower room..this was something I really did not like. I can't get I. And out of baths to shower so this was a huge issue.

Hotel is beautiful and location is ideal. The views are amazing.

Only criticism I’d have is the food was a little hit and miss. Breakfast wasn’t alway hot every morning. The lunch at the pool bar was also up and down, could do with some consistency or more options.

Hotel is in a prime position. Staff are incredible. Breakfast amazing. We had a great 3 days.

Hotel needs an upgrade. Not really up to 5 star standard. Indoor pool was unheated, or very slightly heated. Kids were getting out of water shivering. Hair conditioner in bathrooms would be good. Tea/coffee making facilities could be improved.

* not a hotel of five star standard * I asked a number of questions, via booking.com and copied into an email, before our arrival and did not receive a response * The room was very dark with no central lights in any room. Reading in the evening was very difficult. * Loose panel in laminate flooring was dangerous and we tripped many times. We reported this and someone came to inspect it but nothing was done. * Evening buffet was expensive (42 euros) and not as good as local restaurants. No drinks eg water, coffee were included in the buffet price * 10% discretionary service charge on drinks and food served

Everything else was perfect. Staff was very cordial . Location is great and room was very spacious with amazing view.

1) Swimming pool was cold. It wd be better to heat it up a bit. 2) The shower was too + too tight. Almost impossible to fit a lean person. This was not ok.
