Great hotel in a superb area on the Algarve. Short walk to the main centre but we used our rental car for the beach, which is a little further. The 2 bed apartment was very spacious, had a huge balcony, and was cleaned daily. The staff make this place. Always polite, friendly, and happy to help. The staff cooking and attending breakfast were so accommodating and friendly, and another receptionist went out of her way to find a sewing kit when I needed one, too. The hotel had clearly taken onboard the commenrs about sunbeds and lots of new loungers were delivered and placed around the pool when we were there at the start of Aug. Love Alvor. Normally rent an apartment but will def return to this hotel.

This is a nice, quiet place to stay and the facilities are good. They got new sun loungers when we were there so there is a definite improvement around the pool with space for more people.

I echo what others have said that the cleaning is below par, some would refer to it as lazy. The bins were emptied, bed made and towels folded. However, the floor was not swept or mopped for the full week we were there and the bed sheets never changed despite making a complaint and being told it would be done the following day. The cleaning standards need to improve in this otherwise nice complex.

The rooms were a fantastic size with really great aircon, proper coffee machine, quick check in and out, and a special mention for Mariam in the restaurant who was working everyday we were there both for breakfast and lunch. She was amazing even when she was be herself (which was most of the time).

Pool area needs some maintenance, snack bar at pool not open, rooms being cleaned were realistically just towel change and floor mopped, understaffed for lunch, breakfast needs a change up as same items on daily, very expensive for amenities available. Building site with loud noise going on beside pool, should really be notified of noise on booking.

Staff were excellent and very accommodating. We had an issue with our toilet leaking and it was fixed within the hour - incredible service. The room was big, clean and very comfortable and the cleaning staff excellent. The lady who served the food at lunchtime was excellent as was the food. The grounds are beautifully kept and everywhere outside very clean. The town of Alvor is only a 10 min walk away and the restaurants are excellent, the atmosphere is lovely very relaxed - a really nice vibe and not too big. Really pleasant stay.

The wi-fi is free but very patchy so I ended up turning it off in the end would be great to get a better service. There were 2 different types of loungers available (brown wicker ones with cushions and blue ones) I think it would really lift the feeling of the pool area to have all the loungers the same - brown wicker with cushions and may some more umbrellas for shade.

The location is excellent a short walk to Alvor centre. Nice calm atmosphere very relaxing. Apartments refreshed daily by the cleaning team. Everything you would need provided in the apartments including cooking utensils etc. Reasonably priced lunch options which is a handy alternative to cooking or walking to the town. The main plus is the team on site. Super helpful and friendly. Kate in particular was an absolutely pleasure and went above and beyond. This type of service made our stay and we will be returning again later this year.

Only drawback is the lunchtime food and beverage service. The team are great at what they do however, one person on service means that wait times are quite long. Also, paying seemed to be an issue on occasions as the computer didn’t seem to work. Small upgrades would make a huge difference.

It had a great breakfast and a pool. It was comfortable and clean.

It was an about a 35 minute walk to Alvor beach.

Spacious, clean and well equipped studio apartment located a short walk from the town centre and beach. Friendly staff, good breakfast buffet (although no variation), well kept gardens to the rear of the property. Quiet but could be too quiet for some (currently a gin promotion happy hour with a DJ once a week is the only activity).

Bed very uncomfortable (very firm), daily charge to use safe in room, wifi pretty useless throughout the property, not enough parasols by the pool. Lobby area needs an uplift, very sad looking palm trees, reception area looking very dated.

The hotel and facilities are nice, tidy and in good condition. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms and kitchen equipped with all necessary items and also spacious. Balcony or terrace is more than suitable for enjoying them. We had an technical issue in our room which was immediately taken care by the lady at the reception in a very professional way. As the issue wasn't easy to repair we received another room immediately to solve the issue for us - thanks again for the quick support to the staff.

Due to a change in the flight schedule we had an early checkout and asked for an early breakfast two days prior to our departure. The agent at the reception was offering a lunchbox/lunchpack which we happily ordered for the day of our departure. Sadly when we checked out we were informed there was nothing prepared for us, so we needed to leave without the offered lunchpack. As we were counting on the lunchpack it was a rather rough start in the day and throughout tge whole day.

We had a rental car because drove to other areas every day but we could have walked to restaurants and grocery store etc. The location was good, very central for ease of getting everywhere. It was cool so only used the pool once. We had breakfast only the first day because we decided to make our own breakfasts. The breakfast was excellant and well priced. The room was perfect. Nice little kitchen with everything we needed for quick meals. Roomy for two people - it was a studio with living and bedroom joined.

Lovely location and very beautiful hotel. Rooms are spacious, we were lucky enough to have a corner room and a large balcony that got the sun for most of the day. The cleaners came each day and were great. The pool is big and spacious and there is usually more than enough beds if you want them. There's a pool table and a snack bar which is reasonable and a large car park at the front if you're driving. It's located just on the edge of Alvor, and the walk to the town is about 10 minutes. The beach is a bit further away walking, takes about 30 minutes but it's a pleasant enough walk if you try and miss the heat of the day. All in all, a very lovely place to stay.

The only downside for me were the limited cooking equipment. The fan on the hob didn't work and I think a few more glasses and plates, pots and pans might be good too. But that said, I understand that a lot of people go away and don't want to cook, so maybe I'm just being a bit fussy. When we did ask reception for an extra pan, they were really helpful and went out and bought one for us, so I can't fault that at all. It's only a minor thing, but that's really the only negative I can think of overall.
