Really great location. The beach is a 10 minute walk and there are busses to Lagos and Portimão. The staff was really friendly and the facilities of the hostel were great: well equipped kitchen, large dorm, great common area. The hostel is cleaned every day by two very friendly ladies. Moreover, the price for a night was quite cheap which was totally worth it.

The bathroom doesn't have windows and it gets extremely damp in there. I feel like the hostel should do something against this. As this decreases the cleanliness of the bathroom. I did not very much like the temperature in the dorm which was quite high, I would have loved some fresh air in there. Also I would have liked some thicker sheets. At this time of year there weren't any other backpackers which was unfortunate.

Stayed her a few times now. Staff are all very friendly and helpful and will do what they can to help you. Great kitchen facilities and a good space to catch up with fellow travelers on how their trips are going. TV lounge is a clean quiet space to chill in with books to take out to the beach, which is only 10 walk away or to take to the pool outside, which is included in your hostel cost. For laundry there is a sel service place across the courtyard that cost 5 euro for 8kgs of clothes. And for food there is a supermarket 5 mins away. Or lots of bars, cafés and restaurants within a few minutes walk. 1.65 euro on 30 minutes bus to Portimao or a 15 minute taxis costs about 5 euro. From the train station in Portimao you can travel all along the Algarve coast for a relatively low cost.

This is my 3rd visit. Facilities and cleanliness were of a high standard. Great central location.

A Church group with approximately 15 teenage children and supporting adults arrived for the weekend, they took over the kitchen, and we're extremely noisy. I was not made aware of this when booking, which I felt would of been courteous, so that I could of made an informed choice. When I spoke to a staff member about it they were very dismissive and had a nonchalant attitude.

Spacious dorm rooms. Comfortable beds. 24 hour reception. Large very very well equipped kitchen and dining room. And a swimming pool. Great hostel. Highly recommended.

I loved everything about this property. I would forget about Lisbon and come here next time on my vacation next year. This place was amazing. I enjoyed every moment that I spent here. The restaurants and the pool are beautiful, and the people are amazing. The food is so good. Period.

There was nothing I did not like about this property. This property is number one. I wish there were more hostels like this one. Clean affordable, beautiful and the people are so helpful. I went on the cave tour by speedboat and I loved it. I do recommend you use that one by Atlantis tours. Very inexpensive and very good.

This was my second stay - I first visited in 2023 and came back this year. The room and AC were excellent and very clean. We had a small issue with the AC that stopped working one night, but the staff resolved it quickly. The location is great, close to several good restaurants and Intermarché, and the pool is definitely a bonus. It was a perfect spot for a relaxing long weekend.

Most of the time, reception was unattended. The check-in instructions weren’t clear for us, but we ended up calling them and it was resolved quickly.

I can not rate this hostel high enough, it was fabulous!! On arrival, I was met with a smile from the man on reception and given all information. The two young boys kept our dorm spotless and cleaned every day throughout the hostel. The facilities in the hostel were excellent and there was plenty of crockery etc in the kitchen, even a fresh coffee machine. The location of the hostel is central to everything, there is a supermarket a few minutes walk away. This is the best hostel I have stayed in and have already booked to come back!

There was nothing I did not like

Everything was perfect. The common space was big enough for everyone to chill on their own. Kitchen was big and provided everything you needed. Great location just a few minutes of walk to the beach. The pool was so great and the pubs and restaurants around super nice! I loved the friendly staff who helped with everything I needed. I had a 4-bed dorm so there was enough space and privacy for me, the private bathroom in each room i s a game changer! Felt like a hotel really!

The hostel was clean and in a good location. It was nice that they had easy parking and easy access to food, beaches, pool, etc.

The rooms without AC were stifling, but with the AC was super cold (with the light blankets given). Made getting comfortable at night tough.

This hostel exceeded my expectations. It is super clean, super white. Dedicated staff to maintain hygiene and keep it sparkling clean. The rooms are spacious, strong beds, there is so much space between beds you can barely cross with your neighbors. Room has constant fresh air, AC is on, fan is on when necessary Kitchen sparkling white, clean, all kitchen utensils are available, its almost like home away from home. You can bring your stuff and cook. Kitchen is also very spacious, very big. 2 big fridges for personal use. Receptionists amazing Location, just outside the hostel there are so many restaurants, convenient store, like 10 ft away, I kid you not. Alvor beach is like less than a Km or a km away. Walking distance. So many eat-outs and shopping stores close-by Reception open 24 hrs

Honestly nothing ;) Only thing I had a problem with was bathrooms, the shared bathrooms were always untidy, even though the cleaners do thorough cleaning daily. I guess its because they are shared, otherwise the bathroom are also very tidy and white!
