I couldn't stay longer 🤣

Beautiful apartments. Spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff. Snack bar didn’t open until April 1st just to give a heads up and the outdoor pool is not heated but was warm enough when the sun shone. Superb location - post office , pharmacy , supermarket , atm, restaurants , main town etc all just beside the apartments . Taxi rank around the corner and the bus stop beside the apartments too. A short stroll to the beach. High chair , travel cot & baby bath provided for infant. Very quiet apartments .nice library room And roof terrace. Would recommend for families of those seeking a quieter break - definitely not for “party groups “ .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the AlvorMar. Our room was on the ground floor and had a side sea view. The facilities were brilliant. It was so clean. The staff were lovely and so kind during the power outage on Monday that affected the country. The swimming pool area is lovely and clean. And the view from the top of the building is fabulous - we availed of this on the evening of the power cut. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Alvor. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back.

Perfect location right in the town centre. Bars, restaurants and shops all within a minute walk. Beach roughly 500m away (7-10 min walk). Never an issue getting sun beds at the pool, no need to get up early to reserve them! Plenty of food options at the pool snack bar. Pint at the bar less than 4 euro. Rooms extremely clean. Spacious balcony. No issues with air conditioning. Beach roughly 500m away (7-10 min walk) Everything was excellent and will be back on our next stay in Alvor 😀

Just back from a long weekend stay in Alvor. Hotel and bedroom was very clean, modern and comfortable. The most comfortable pull out bed I have ever slept in. Excellent shower. Close to centre, restaurants, bars etc. Ideal for a shorter winter/spring break. Very helpful staff. Room cleaned every day except Sundays.

Nothing really, but for me, it's a location for more of a shorter winter break than a summer break. I have been visiting Alvor for over 10 years and have stayed in four different hotels/apartments in that time. The pool and pool area is small enough, and I imagine it could be very busy during peak season. We are back in July but are booked into a bigger complex. As I said, I would highly recommend Alvor Mars for a shorter off-season break, but I am looking forward to checking it out in July tbh.

Everything. From check-in to checkout. Very friendly staff everywhere. The apartment was immaculate and the upgrade of them has been worth it. Roof terrace is beautiful and spacious. They even provide pool towels if you need them. Pool area is clean but not large if full to capacity but not everyone uses it as the beach is nearby. Wee snack bar at pool too. Location is perfect as it is in the centre of Alvor so all shops,restaurants and amenities are within short walking distance. Kitchen cleaning supplies are provided. They are also well equipped. Mini toiletries in bathroom if you don't have your own. The showers are spacious and have 2 choices of shower heads. The beds are extremely comfortable and a safe deposit box is provided with your own key (no xtra charge). Balconies are adequate. They have garden level ones which have 2 sunloungers as well as table and chairs. These would be ideal in warmer months as the sun is out early. If you want specific rooms you would need to book in advance as one side is garden view and the other is street view which isn't ideal. Rooms facing pool which is south facing are mainly studios I think but don't quote me on that. We would definitely stay here again. Cleaning every day cept Sunday if you wish. Bed linens are changed in the week too. Lovely atrium full of plants and trees between floors. There are lifts for your convenience too. Overall an excellent holiday experience. We stayed for 3 nights as we had other accommodation beforehand as in timeshare but would definitely stay longer if extending our holiday.

No washing machine in apartment but they do offer a washing service but bit pricey at €10. It's only €5 in other areas.

Great location; cozy and comfortable apartment; possibility to book a shower on the last day, after the check out.

Only premium rooms have a coffee machine. Doesn't make sense in my opinion. We have all the facilities in the kitchen and something so important as a having a coffee in the morning is only given to upgrade rooms.

Location excellent. All the staff were friendly and our room was the best. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine and we had the use of our room until late afternoon, which made our last day very special.

This is a wonderful location, walk out your front door and you are steps away from all the bars, restaurants and shops. Beaches are walkable and beautiful. The apartment is fully equipped and there is daily clean-up from the hotel staff. I highly recommend this place, it is comfortable and roomy for a family of five adults.

If there is anything I had difficulty with, the beds were tough, not soft, but this is a personal preference. I didn't realize at the time of booking that there is no dishwasher and washing machine, there is laundry for an extra cost. But just a minor hiccup on an amazing trip to Alvor.
