The location is ideal for kids, easy to walk a few steps to the beach, the playground, the indoor heated pool and the outdoor pool, free parking, restaurants and cafes nearby and a short car trip to the nearest supermarkets. I would highly recommend for families. The apartment was bright, really spacious and very very clean.

The apartment was a little noisy with some neighbours but understandable as the apartments are big, open plan and tiled, so sound travels. I imagine it is quite a bustling place during the high season in the summer, but the noise didn't bother us too much as we were on holiday.

The people at the desk were very obliging and helpful. The rooms and balcony were fine. It was easy to access the beach area and local restaurants.

We didn't use the dining room because it was mostly fixed price buffet and the occasions when we dropped down the staff didn't know when menu ordering would be available. Strange. We would have like to have had an option to eat there. The ladies at the store were only transactional and didn't really engage with people coming into the store (no welcome.) It was helpful to have it there but we think opportunities were lost by not engaging with those coming into the store, i.e. "can I be of help to you? "

as it was self catering and we arrived late there could have been a small welcome pack so that we could have a drink or tea or coffee, water when we arrived

The location was terrific! A 3 minute walk takes you to an outstanding path along beautiful cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea!

The facilities in the kitchen could have been better. There wasn't a cloth provided for washing dishes and/or counter tops. Also a small amount of dish detergent and dishwasher soap would have been helpful for a 3 night stay.

Excellent guy on reception, spoke all sorts of languages (well done sir). Clean, tidy, just the right stuff to cook simple no fuss meals. Toilet and shower clean, no mould or lingering smells. Beds were firm, clean and bedding changed every couple of days. Living area sparse but what are you doing in the room on an evening? There is a tv with all manner of channels incl Portugese obes which are mostly in English (explains why all the locals speak it so well - thank you). We will be back.

We could not figure out the aircon at all, balcony closed and locked should have allowed it to come on, instructions and control not great, however that was the only minor irritation. We will be back.

Loved our stay here. Staff were excellent and the hotel was exceptionally clean. Location was amazing, with a selection of close vu restaurants.

Good family rooms, beaches nearby, indoor pool, sufficient parking, playground. Very handy place for families. This was our second visit here. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We were initially allocated to a different room than what we had requested, but this was rectified next morning.

The property was ideally located, as you have the Vau beach seconds away which was a lot quieter than Praia Da Rocha, and can get to the busier shopping area within 5-10 min walk. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the facilities needed for a 10 day trip, the AC was great once we figured how to work it. The pool and bar area were great too, there were always sun beds available and there was plenty of good drinks at the bar. The on site shop is also very good, and is cheaper for most items than you’ll find in the centre. I would definitely stay and recommend Jardim do Vau to anyone looking at staying in the Algarve.

The fridge could’ve been a bit better, but served it’s purpose for soft drinks

The location was great, employees were friendly, the food in the restaurant was good! Access to the beach and close by restaurants. The little shop was helpful for needed items!

The location is great for beach area but it’s not close to many shopping areas by walking. It would have been helpful to know a car would be suggested to visit shopping areas nearby.

The room was nice and clean. It had the right size for a family with a kid. Facilitates were also good enough and complete for such a short stay. The access was easy and plenty of free parking places.

The WiFi was almost disconnected. Supper slow connection and often disconnected.
