We had a great experience staying at RR Amarilis in Praia da Rocha. From the moment we arrived, the reception team gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly, attentive, and always available whenever we needed anything. Our apartment was spacious, clean, and very comfortable – exactly what we were hoping for. It had everything we needed to relax after busy days, and we appreciated the quiet atmosphere in the building. The location was ideal for us. It was close to both the event we were attending and the beach, which made everything super convenient. We also had a chance to enjoy the pool and the gym, both of which were clean and well maintained. We dined at the hotel restaurant and were happy to find a variety of options to suit different tastes, which made meals easy and enjoyable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at RR Amarilis and would happily return. It’s a great choice if you're looking for comfort, good service, and a perfect location in Praia da Rocha.

Unfortunately, the ‘hot’ buffet breakfast was cold because the food hadn’t been put on hot plates.

The choice of food was amazing. Everyday there were various dishes that we tasted. Location was a short walk to a very nice beach. The pool area was enjoyable , there was enough sun beds for us during the day. Pool was clean and well looked after. All the staff was amazing and easily answered any questions that we had. The room was clean and quite big. Did not use any of the kitchen equipment .

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great and always smiling and so helpful. We had the all inclusive with drinks. -Breakfast was about the same everyday; eggs (usually two different types), sausage, roasted tomatoes, bacon, beans, bread, pastries, fruit, salad, meats, cheese, veggies, cereal, coffee/tea and more. -Lunch; daily fresh salad bar with lots of veggie options, cold mixed salads, breads, pasta (different variety and sauces) a fish option, a meat option, most days they had döner kebab (these were fantastic), fries or a potato dish and fruit, desserts (different variety daily/meals), and more. -Dinner; same as the lunch just different varieties of food. The fish always seemed fresh and everything tasted great. -Drinks; super cold beer, red/white wine, well alcohol and sodas. There are just a few mixed drinks that come with the package, you had to pay extra for like a daiquiri type drink, etc. -Snacks: Between breakfast and lunch they have a selection of meats, chesses, veggies, and fruit. Between lunch and dinner they have hamburgers and hot dogs and ice-cream- chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. We were really impressed with the selection and freshness of everything. -The pool was a great place to spend the day, the music isn't too loud, the bar at the pool is great and there always seemed to be plenty of chairs to use. The pictures of the pool don't do it justice much better in person. The rooms were decent. It's an older building and some of the rooms show that, it is a 3 star place so take that into consideration. The pictures of the room is what you get. It was great to have a kitchen and a full size fridge. The balcony is nice and the air-conditioning works great. they came and cleaned everyday and changed out towels. -Gym. My husband used the gym and said it was great and had lots of equipment! It's only a 5 euro fee. The location is perfect!

Could use more staff on the weekends for food and drink service. Also, it would have been nice to be able to hang out a little longer at night after the pool bar closes.

We stayed 5 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, good daily cleaning, beds were comfortable. The hotel furniture might look a bit outdated but we were here 11 years ago and now the hotel looks much better. Anyway - I don't expect brand new furniture everywhere :) Why to change something if it works just fine. Wifi was good (I didn't expect so fast connection speed). The pool is nice and clean. Once we had a buffet lunch for 15 EUR and it was good for the price and the food was tasty. Location is great - 2 minutes from fantastic Praia da Rocha beach, many options to choose from if you want to eat outside. Bus stop to visit other cities is ~10 minutes walking distance. Staff was nice and polite. Don't expect 5 star hotel - it's an excellent mid-range hotel for inexpensive holidays. We will return again next time :)

The hotel was very nice rooms were a very good size and beds comfortable. It was clean and cleaners came on a regular basis. The food and drinks were excellent. The pool area was very good too with a large amount of sun beds available.

The negative was only there are no shower facilities if you have a late check out time or area to change before your journey home.

Very helpful and professional staff, huge and very clean apartment (not the most modern rooms but you have everything you need), excellent selection of foods and drinks for diner, great pool and bar, easy parking, the reception is open non-stop which helped a lot since our flight was delayed, they even had sandwiches, fruits and water ready for us when we arrived just in case we were hungry (we missed dinner)

Great food, love the barbecue nights. Room was a great size and very comfortable. Great facilities in the kitchen. Pool area is good too.

No air con in the bedroom, windows and doors have terrible seals so the air con dripping noise is extremely annoying. Gym was not included as expected, separate charge for gym and indoor pool unfortunately so did not use.

The apartment had a kitchen that had all the necessary utensils to prepare meals at home. Everything worked. The place was very roomy and had plenty of TV channels. We could see the sea from our window. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a short walk to the beach, and a small grocery store across the street.

The apartment was dated and needs an update, everything had seen better days.
