Beautiful location with direct access to some of the nicest coastal scenery and a few beaches (Sao Rafael, Arrifes). The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent (the breakfast buffet has everything you need, the dinner buffet - exceptional quality, and also the food at the bar was always very good). The pool areas are very nice too. They also have bathrobes and slippers in the room, plus water boiler and coffee machine. I was here at the end of November and all the restaurants nearby were closed for winter. So it was good to have good restaurants in the hotel. Otherwise, you need to go to Albufeira Marina or the old town, which is too far to walk, so you need a car or a taxi.

Bathrooms have no doors and you can literally look straight into the shower from the bed, so there's zero privacy. I was traveling alone so it's not a big deal, but this hotel would be totally unsuitable for our family with kids/teens or for friends traveling together. The bathroom is very dark. Plus, in my room, the water tab was loose (bad installation) and some paint on the walls was off - quite unacceptable for a 5* hotel. Parking is somewhat limited and even in the low season, I had to park quite a bit further away. Again, not a big deal, but not sure how they handle it in the summer. You need to buy a swimming cap if you want to use an indoor pool (so bring one from home). The other indoor pool/jacuzzi has an extra charge of 10 eur/day.

The property is a little bit worn, chips in drywall and scuff marks on the walls and carpets lifting, but it was very clean.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The cleanliness was 110% all the time. The facilities were absolutely amazing - exceptionally well staffed, and the staff were incredibly attentive. The restaurants available catered to every single need. The staff cleared our plates within SECONDS (im not even exaggerating, they were literally always there to clear a plate) and they reacted to the barest of glances their way and came to see if we needed anything. The pools were beautiful and clean. the hotel was no too busy, the access to the beach was literally less than 5 min. From the hotel's private exit we could access the cliffs and watch the sunrise and sunset. On leaving early in the morning, they actually packed up breakfast for us as we missed our included breakfast for that day; they did so without us even thinking to request this. It was just beautiful. 10/10

The hotel has spacious rooms with great views. The breakfast was delicious; you have a great selection of different foods. I also liked the indoor pool and gym. Hotel is located near beautiful beach and in a quiet area. I definitely recommend the hotel if you are planning a trip to Algarve.

I was here in January (low-season time) and you definitely need a car because all the restaurants nearby are closed and the center of Albufeira is around 2 km away. The housekeeping service was a bit slow (we left the room in the morning and in 2.30 pm the room still wasn’t tidy). Also, you need to bring the swimming cap with you if you want to use indoor pool. You can also buy it in a hotel (5 € per unit).

The hotel boasts outstanding facilities, including serene pools that offer a relaxing atmosphere and direct access to the beautiful Sao Rafael Beach. The rooms are spacious and provide exceptional comfort, making for a truly enjoyable stay.

We experienced a mix of excellent and average service from the staff at the buffet restaurant. While some members provided exceptional service, there were instances where the overall customer service fell short of expectations. There is room for improvement in this aspect.

A properly sized room 30+ m2 that is a rare find for not so modern construction and also well planned room layout. Also properly sized hotel that has a touch of privacy feeling without crowds of tourists. Good breakfast with natural juices and good coffee, no confusion, but relaxed atmosphere. Enough place for car parking without extra fees and hassle. You have plenty of dining options outside of a hotel and the area is well covered by Uber drivers.

The air con was bit noisy, the bathroom equipment was bit old, but anyway way better compared to most of other hotels. We wish the breakfast would be till 11 AM and not till 10:30 AM.

The location was fantastic - Right next to a beautiful beach sandy beach enclosed by cliffs. You could also take very scenic pictures from the top of the cliff and follow a walk trail. Access to the nearby Albufeira Marina was both cheap and speedy, a nice location to book a boat trip from. The hotel itself was very clean and the room size was very generously spacious.

We had half-board and whilst the breakfast options were great, the dinner menu didn't consistently hit the mark and there is perhaps some room for improvement there.

Stayed in this hotel for 8 nights with my husband. The service was exceptional. I have visited over 27 countries and can honestly say this was the best holiday I have ever had! I am gluten and dairy intolerant and we were there in a half board basis, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. The chef cooked my food separately every night and even made a delicious dairy free and gluten free cake for my birthday; we didn’t ask for this and it was such an amazing surprise! We were greeted by a bottle of champagne on arrival and another bottle was left in my room on the day of my birthday. The room was huge and very clean. The room was very quiet, comfortable bed and I slept like a baby, the room was also on top floor as requested, beautiful views. Whatever we asked for the staff always responded immediately to every request. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The drinks were overpriced but it didn’t bother us since I only drink tea and my husband found loads of delicious wines in local shops in Albufeira which he had in the room or by the beach while watching the sunset. The buffet had limited choices on some days but it’s understandable since it’s low season. It did not in any way spoil our holiday, we were there for good service, breathtaking views and total relaxation and that is exactly what we got.

the second day they didn’t clean our room despite having asked to the reception before lunch after we saw they didn’t clean it during the morning.. the hotel charges 10-13€ for each movie you want to watch in your room’s tv.. not even at the cinema.. the waiters during the breakfast are quite stressed to take your dish as soon as you finish to eat something, they could wait a bit for people to enjoy and relax I suggest to go to the indoor pool immediately after lunch as later in the afternoon kids start to make a mess
