Continental breakfast but you can requested scrambled eggs, food very good and fresh. Staff very polite and friendly. The manager allow to use the tables in the breakfast area if you which to bring food from outside for your lunch and dinner. As expected the weather during our holidays very hot around 41 but inside the hotel ac everywhere. Swimming pool decent size my daughter absolutely loved it. Rooms are space and beautifully decorated. I recommend the hotel. You can find restaurants close I would say 15m walking and the prices range between 12 to 25 euros. Mo saraz Castle nearby with beautiful views specially if you want to watch a sunset. A Lake nearby.

lovely garden around property, good sized car park, nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the breakfast room, as other places in Portugal didn't have any such facilities. Host was very helpful, speaks many languages and gave us two excellent restaurant suggestions in nearby village and rung up to make reservations for us. We stayed there in late October so didn't use swimming pool so can't comment on that. You do need own transport to use this place.

We should have asked for a room with a more sunny aspect, as in late October sun for someone from England is very important!

The pool place is beautiful, full of shadows which is really something important in Alentejo. The pool water was at 30 degrees and the temperature was close to 40 degrees. The house is full of vintage objects, like old telephones, and writing machines. I found myself searching for old treasures. The bedroom was clean and spacious. The Bathroom was also great. The property owner lives there, so you feel at home. Everything is well decorated. I felt I was visiting family. Breakfast is simple but good,. I recommend going outside late night (around 1h30 -2 a.m. to see the sky. Is beautiful.

The only thing I would improve is to have access to the wardrobe (it was closed with a key) and to have some hangers on the wall for the towels / used clothes.

We liked how welcoming Victoria was. She was an excellent host. Our room (#3) was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. We liked the proximity to Monsaraz and to the OLA stargazing as both were just 5 minutes away. It was a good base for 4 days with day trips to Monsaraz, Evora and Estromoz. We plan on returning for a fall or spring visit.

Victoria was a wonderfully generous host. Because we were cycling she drove to local restaurants on both nights we were there. There is lovely pool and garden. The room was spacious and charming with a great view of the castle and village

Whilst Victoria was a superb host, the other staff were dour and unfriendly

The online booking process had a few steps, that felt time consuming. In the end this wasn't such a big deal. We loved it so much we booked another night

This was our second visit, to what is a gorgeous family home. It is a little piece of heaven situated on a plain, near lakes just below the beautiful town of Monsaraz. Breakfast is the best ever. Fabulous selection of fresh fruits and juices local cheeses, ham, salami and the best warm croissants ever. Thank you Sergio and your amazing ladies. We hope to see you again.
