Our stay at Hotel Quinta do Carrascal was nothing short of incredible. This brand-new Quinta, nestled in the beautiful rural landscape of Santarém, in the middle of nowhere, offered the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. The contactless check-in process was easy and efficient, adding to the smooth start of our stay. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The dining area was well-equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, and hot water kettle, with a cozy shared lounge area nearby. We appreciated the convenient Honesty Bar, offering snacks, tea, coffee, wines, and more. Although the on-site restaurant was closed on Mondays, it provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner upon request, adding flexibility to our plans. The staff were friendly, discreet, and very helpful. Our room doors opened to a charming patio where we could relax and enjoy the views of a chemical-free infinity pool, a jacuzzi, and the scenic countryside. The Quinta's well-landscaped gardens and open spaces were delightful to explore, filled with greenery and perfect for peaceful walks. As pet owners, we were especially happy that the Quinta was pet-friendly—our miniature dachshund loved wandering around the beautiful green areas. Overall, our stay was one of the most peaceful and enjoyable experiences we've ever had. We commend the management and staff for maintaining such high standards and creating such a serene retreat and wish them all the best with their project. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in the area!

We liked everything :) For future guests we definitely recommend a car. It was difficult to find a restaurant in the vicinity for dinner so we ended up buying takeaway and having it on our patio. We were glad in the end as we enjoyed dinner overlooking the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Hopefully when we go again the onsite restaurant will be open and we wont have to leave this beautiful place.

The Resort has everything we wished for to spend a relaxing weekend. The staff was really friendly, rooms and whole resort was really clean, breakfast was great and the resort overall is super quiet and relaxing. My Cousin and me were traveling with a baby and found everything we need (Babybed, Babychair etc). The pool area is super nice and we loved that it is an organic pool without chlorine. We will definitely be back!!

Of course to get the quiet, laid-back experience you are not staying close to any big, buzzing towns. If you are looking for dinner restaurants you will always need to take the car and drive for a bit, which was totally fine for us but should be considered when choosing this location. :)

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel multiple times, and it has truly become one of our favorite places. Nestled on a tranquil farm, the setting is both peaceful and picturesque, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The hotel itself is modern, cozy, and immaculately maintained, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. The expansive grounds are a dream, especially if you’re traveling with dogs—they have plenty of space to explore and enjoy. It’s the ideal retreat for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and immerse themselves in nature. We look forward to returning again and again!

This was a pretty short but sweet stay! I'm honestly already checking other dates so I can stay here for a little while longer in the future! From the neighbours to the staff, everyone was really nice - especially considering we brought two dogs with us! They were a bit too loud one of these nights while we were out for dinner and even though it felt a bit embarassing having the Hotel call me because of this, the other guests and the staff alike reassured us well enough that although unpleasant, they weren't really bothered by it. The pool out on the yard feels very fresh; the jacuzzi was really relaxing; the big daybed by the pool is very aesthetically pleasing and surprisingly comfortable; the little frogs on the pond were super cute as well as the sheep on the neighboring farm. I thought the breakfast was good but there is room for improvement there - mainly on refilling speed, quantity and diversity.

Waking up to the sound of two lawnmowers and a leaf blower working wasn't exactly convenient but I guess we were able to find a silver lining and enjoy the Hotel's facilities. I found the room a bit small for 2 people and 2 dogs but we didn't stay inside for long so that wasn't exaclty a problem.

Good quality furniture and very well styled. Room was lovely and comfortable. Swimming pool and outside area are very nice. It was very quiet and serene, lovely place to relax. Breakfast was tasty as well.

We saw almost no staff. We were the only guests that stayed there during our period which felt really odd at first but it was very nice to have the swimming pool all for ourselves. Restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

I booked this property as a stop over on a long journey to the Algarve. I was really impressed with it, and would like to return to fully take advantage of the facilities and to explore the area. It is very tastefully decorated, super clean and the pool looked amazing - although I didn’t get chance to use it. The location is peaceful and serene. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a great nights sleep.

There really isn't anything negative to say, maybe adjust the breakfast times a bit. For me as an early riser, it would have been a little better. But again, that shouldn't have any influence on my rating.

It was a wonderful room and a comfy bed.

The only thing I'd say was that there was 6 umbrellas for a room that sleeps max 4 and only 2 or so knives and forks. Also since I am vegan I couldn't eat the breakfast since there was no vegan options so I had to cook which was a challenge with the somewhat unequipped kitchen. Some more cooking tools would have been nice. Other than that it was really great, I slept very comfortably.

Wonderful accommodation with all amenities. Breakfast is delightfully served in baskets. Dinner and breakfast must be ordered well in advance. Lovely and beautiful room. The accommodation has only been open for 3 months and is located in a mostly enclosed area of 200 hectares. Pleasant host and friendly staff. I can definitely recommend this location.
