I highly recommend this hotel. It's one of the few places where you will always get more than you expect in every aspect. I believe this place was created with that idea in mind, as it’s evident in everything, from the staff's actions to the design choices. There’s a large, well-zoned area around the hotel, giving you the feeling that you’re not in the city but surrounded by nature, with plenty of greenery and the scents of the forest. The common areas, both inside and outside the building, are spacious and comfortable, with attentive staff. This creates a sense of seclusion during your stay, as the overall space is proportionate to the number of hotel rooms. The room’s renovation and equipment are thoughtfully designed for a comfortable stay. High-quality mattresses, bedding, and robes are provided down to the smallest detail. Pretty tasty food for a reasonable price.

We are very happy and thankfull about our stay. The team was very nice and helpfull. Very kind. Congrats to the gardener, very lovely garden ! The area is very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is very good, openings hours for breakfast to. Perfect for us, we enjoy our stay.

here are some advices for the improvement : - the clim is very noisy. Seems to have a problem - the door of the toilet doesn’t closed. It does not provide intimacy. - there is no sanitizer product in the gym space. That’s missing for me.

The property is a secret oasis, set in beautiful gardens. It has been elegantly designed to sit comfortably in its surroundings, featuring local stone decorations, a bubbling brook running through the gardens and lots of quiet areas to relax or walk the dog. We had the absolute pleasure of staying in one of the forest rooms, and enjoyed a few glasses of wine whilst watching the sunset reflecting off the mirrored walls between the trees. It was a wonderful place to simply chill. To stop and appreciate life. The amenities are great, with an indoor an outdoor pool, jacuzzi and gym. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the food is decent price for good quality food. And finally all the staff are absolutely brilliant- attentive, professional and friendly, even the gardener made time to chat with us. We highly recommend this special place for any traveller, especially if you have a dog.

Nothing - everything was lovely

Breakfast was a lovely buffet and there was plenty of choice. Our 5 year old absolutely loved the pancakes! The spa pool was open to families which is very unusual coming from the UK but it was the perfect spot for our daughter who preferred being in the indoor pool rather than the outdoor pool. The outdoor pool is in a beautiful spot and once the sun had been out for a few hours it was even warmer than the indoor pool! Lots of places to relax around the grounds of the hotel. The design of the hotel is stunning and very peaceful all around. We'll definitely be back.

We absolutely loved the beautiful grounds and the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly attentive and made our stay unforgettable. It was wonderful to receive a complimentary upgrade to a higher room category, which truly made our New Year special. We were also very impressed with the spa facilities.

We had no issues during our stay.

The entire property is architecturally stunning, combining old elements of the original farmhouse with a newer more modern style. The room was spacious and we were upgraded to a deluxe room without any additional charge. Very comfortable and clean. Cannot wait to visit again once the garden fully matures and the trees are grown.

Very little to critique. The area around the pool could be a little more refined, only because of the incredibly high standard the rest of the hotel sets. Perhaps a wooden deck and dark pool tiles would fit better the overall hotel atmosphere.

The hotel staff is extremely helpful. The facilities are of a very high standard, as well as the decor. I particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet of having a mid week stay. The spa area is very calm, and has all necessary facilities.

I have extremely minor issues to point out. The interior swimming pool could have been a bit warmer. The spa area is really meant for at most one or two couples, with the jacuzzi not holding more than 2 (3 if they all know each other).

The surroundings are so relaxing and quiet and only 30min away from Porto. The decoration is on point, super classy. The breakfast has so many options, the pastries are fresh, the orange juice freshly squeezed and delicious. For vegetarians they have 3 options for dinner, which is great. The bed and pillows are huge and comfortable. Lastly the staff is beyond words, really friendly and always asking if there is anything they can do for you.

The wifi on the restaurant could be better but it is just a minor detail, we should disconnect more from technology anyway.

Clearly this hotel has been designed with lots of consideration and ideas. We really liked the comfortable bed, and the amazing garden area. It's really quiet, too. Wifi is fast. Beer/wine selection really good. Food quality top Beautiful architecture and great sauna

Gym is too small. Just a few cardio machines and bars. It's missing a squat rack and dumbbells. Breakfast could have more offering such as baked beans, grilled vegetables. Throw away that Nespresso machine at breakfast and get a proper barista.

Amazing property, beautiful decoration, great breakfast! The rooms have everything you need! It was our second time there and the staff were really amazing and nice to us. We definitely intend to come back again!
