Staff on arrival were great, very friendly and personable. Made some great recommendations for what to do during my stay. Good location, 20 minutes walk to La Ramblas, lot's of nice coffee shops, super markets and bars in the surrounding area.

Unfortunately, and for me the only downside, is you can hear a lot from other rooms and in hall ways. Not in the hotels control really, that's down to the other occupants and how respectful they are of people around them. The 2 rooms either side of mine had people who were particularly loud and gave no thought to those staying next to them, at one point i had to bang on the wall to get their attention to be quiet, a very loud phone call at 2am to me is a bit excessive. Maybe the hotel advising people to respect other people staying in the hotel would help.

Location is the best- not too close to La Rambla but not too far either. There are plenty of restaurants around. This was made much easier by the best recommendations and instructions by Dinkee at the reception/ front desk. She was more than helpful and I suggest that she should be moved to the path to management. Our room was the largest we have traveling northeastern Spain and should I say- has more of an American-feel hotel to it- very conveniently located electrical plugs/switches/very-functional-thermostat. The toilet paper is where it's supposed to be. The towels are located appropriately and the shower knob easy to know how to maneuver hot and cold. The shower curtain is American as apple pie- in contrast to the European fetish of a skimpy glass water barrier that invariably not enough to prevent the bathroom floor to be wet when showering. The carpet was clean and odorless- I would have preferred wood parfait or linoleum as we have allergies. A very quiet room. BTW, Barcelona is a taxi city- they are ubiquitous, clean, safe and competitive in price- don't bother to UBER, etc.

Very helpful staff. Clean and simple hotel, just next to the Plaza España. Well connected to the airport by Aerobus 1 and 2. Close to the museum and the Arenas de Barcelona. All primary transportation links. Good food, and lively restaurants and eateries outside. Air conditioning works well. Good morning breakfast, very big selection of hot and cold foods, and drinks

The room could have been larger, and the toiletries could have been of better quality. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been a welcome addition.

I had a pleasant stay overall. One of the front desk staff, a gentleman wearing glasses, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which left a great impression on me. Check in and check out was relatively easy. The room was generally clean, and the housekeeping service did an excellent job tidying up every day. The breakfast offered was quite varied and satisfying. As for the location, I can't say much since we mainly used Uber for transportation.

The room felt a bit small, and there was a persistent odor in the bathroom. Additionally, the shower area was quite cramped. One of the twin bed was very uncomfortable.

Hotel breakfast was excellent quality - the best silky scrambled eggs that i have ever tasted and lovely fresh squeezed orange juice. Easy to get to the hotel by car and easy to access the car park which is small but great to have one right under the hotel - i had reserved a space. We were there for a concert at the Olympic stadium, and after getting directions from the helpful staff we walked up the hill using the escalators - useful in the 36 degree heat. Right near a metro station so we even managed to visit Barcelona in the afternoon.

The hotel is great but the highlight for me was the staff. They were very professional and kind. I came a little earlier that the hotel usual check-in time, they managed to speed up the process and have a room ready for me earlier without even me asking, and they even offered me a glass of cava while I was waiting. Again, I did not even ask if I could have the room earlier. I also paid for 24h of parking, but they let me leave the car free of charge a few extra hours, and I was very grateful. Other then that, the hotel is located on the Parallel street, one of the famous Barcelona main boulevards, walking distance form great city attractions.

The hotel is not at the very center of the city as those near Placa de Catalunya, nor particularly close to the medieval city, but it is in a quiet neighborhood at the foot of Montjuiv where one finds outstanding museums including the incredible Museum of Catalan Art (Don't be put off by the name, it includes French and Dutch art that eventually found its way to Catalunya) and the Miro museum. The hotel is very modern, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

The room was not sound-proofed from late night arguments in the hallway.

Great location. Very comfortable room with good views. Convenient and safe parking in the underground garage. Delightful and efficient reception staff who gave us excellent advice on how to spend the only afternoon we had in Barcelona and also for where to eat in the evening. The room was quiet and the A/C efficient. We left at 6 a.m. to catch a ferry at the port. BTW, It is almost worth rising early to see the early morning street life…..perfectly safe and very entertaining. 😉

Nothing…except rooms for the same night were being sold for €50 euros less than I paid…..both prices on booking.com…that left a bit of a sour taste. €50 is a lot of money.

It was in the middle of the city perfect location easy access to where ever you would like to go, you had soaps a shower cap and toothbrushes in the bathroom the rooms were very clean and spacious we were on the first floor which had a balcony with chairs and a table air-con in the rooms and a mini bar in the room, hotel had free wifi , anything you needed reception were able to help . Hotel is also located on a street with many restaurants to try.
