Great location. Getting to Laguna Beach by car was fairly easy. Bed was very comfortable. The room was large with a comfortable chair, table, desk with office chair, refrigerator, and microwave. It was great to have breakfast included when the room price was fairly inexpensive. Nothing impressive about the breakfast but they did have bacon, eggs, and sausage patties. Plenty of parking.

Right next to the fire station, so sirens went off multiple times each night. Probably not an issue if you have the windows closed but it was cool enough to open the windows at night so we did.

The staff at the front desk were kind and made checking in and out a quick and easy process. The complimentary breakfast was simple and tasty! Options included sausage, bacon, eggs, bagels, english muffins, bread for toast, fresh fruits, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee, multiple juice options, and cereal. The staff working breakfast were very sweet and helpful. Sometimes the breakfast crowd was a little overwhelming for me, so it was nice to be able to take our food back to the room and bring the dishes back before breakfast ended at 10am. Plenty of parking! Our room was spacious, shower had good pressure, and the hot water lasted a long time. We chose a garden-facing room and didn't have any issues with street noise. We ordered dinner to be delivered to the room one night and the delivery driver had no issues finding the room.

The Laguna Lodge is a hidden gem! Surrounded by lovely gardens and in an excellent location - close to major hwy and amenities like grocery stores, gas stations, major banks, Starbucks and various popular eateries are a 5 min walk away! Less than a 5 min drive are more amenities and despite being relatively close to the hwy, it’s a very quiet location. Laguna Beach is about 15 min away and the Laguna Civic Center is right next door. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming! A shout out to Sergio and Morgan at the front desk who were especially helpful. Sergio: she won her race! Morgan: the peppermint oil recommendation was on point! The manager was flexible with our check out change request which was greatly appreciated! The rooms were clean and well taken care of. Some rooms even have a quaint balcony! There’s a heated pool, hot tub and dry sauna available for use and they provided the towels.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like. The breakfast could be improved but was fresh and well stocked.

Very well kept, all the flowers and trees are very nice. Location is awesome with places to eat in very easy walking distance. Gas station and chick fil a in the parking lot. They were able to accommodate parking for me with a truck and trailer on the back. Breakfast was nice and simple for continental style. Place to sit and eat while watching tv. Kids liked the variety of cereal, I wished they had a waffle maker, but the bacon and eggs did the trick. All staff was very nice.

Was told the pool was heated but it was not at the time we were there. The spa was very nice though. Tv in the room was small. The is a fire station near by and we heard sirens a lot while outside, didn’t hear them while in the room

It was very calm not packed at all absolutely loved it. Staff is very friendly and it has a lot of things to do like a gym and a pool above other things. I loved that the age to check in was only 18 instead of 21 made it very accessible as a 20 year old. Staff even allowed me to choose if I wanted and upstairs or downstairs room would definitely come again!

I personally didn’t like that the room had carpet instead of tile but that is a personally preference

It is the second time I have stayed here, a perfect location when visiting my son in Irvine. The breakfast is basic but really nice and a perfect to start the day. There are shops, restaurants, bars in walking distance, not that anyone walks in SoCal. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi are ideal for chilling out. I didn't expect to be laying out in the sun in December. The gym did the job as well. Great parking, right outside the room. Great size room and really comfortable. Location is great for visiting some great spots. So easy to drive to Newport Beach, Huntington and Laguna Beach. I am sure I will be back soon.

Nothing to complain about. Great value for money. No complaints.

This hotel/motel whatever you wanna call it was in a very nice area. Lots of green surrounding it and only a 20-30 minute drive from the ocean. There’s also lots of food places nearby. For the most part, the hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly.

The ONLY little complaint I have about this place was the fact that I spotted small traces of mold in the shower, but I brought my own cleaning supplies and it was very easy to clean up. Oh and also I have to warn anyone that this place is right by a fire station so you will occasionally hear very loud sirens, which I didn’t mind at all but I’m sure someone might.

It’s located within walking distance to two good restaurants, BJs Brewhouse and Kings Fish House Decent breakfast, nothing hot, except breads, but fair selection

It’s next to a fire station, seemed every 15 minutes there were loud sirens all night long The front desk staff are very robotic and lacking hospitality No ‘Welcome’ just ‘credit card and i.d. And check out, no ‘how was your stay’ just ‘do you need a receipt’ It doesn’t cost anything to smile and say thank you to your guests! Especially as we had stayed at this property previously

Th best part to me was the outside garden area..very quaint with the trellis balconies! It was very clean and organized .It was close to freeways and offered free breakfast and price was great.Thank you!

The room and bathroom smelled funky..nothing in the bathroom smelled like that so not sure of the source. The room had a weird smell also and had to spray perfume. I missed the breakfast because I didn't realize it ended at 10 am.I saw it on the card after it was too late so maybe a heads-up which I might have gotten but was heading to a wedding so maybe missed that part..overall I enjoyed my stay and wished I could stay longer!

Room was a good size and comfortable, there was proper control of air con and could even open the window. The pool, jacuzzi, and laundry facilities were used and all good. Staff were available, helpful, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable to us, (we neither wanted nor expected full English or bacon and egg)

We are not fans of the coffee machine in the room oreferring a kettle and proper cups but as we only had the one brew a day in the room we coped.
