Location! Near everything. Great value.

We had to ask for more coffee… and towels were brought after the cleaning of the room. Once we were brought dirty towels. Our room window was a balcony for someone else’s room. We had to keep our shade down for privacy and couldn’t enjoy an open window view

Great room and excellent value! Clearly recently modeled and it shows. Comfortable beds, crisp sheets and pillows. Great water pressure in shower. Love the black out curtains. Lots of TV options. Free breakfast was so helpful in getting us out the door. And free parking! Lots of families and international guests, didn't feel sketchy or anything like that. Easy checkin, great staff!

You definitely will hear the street, but it's kinda more constant sound not honking and such. But with the AC pumping (which worked great) it was fine. Earplugs helped. Really not too bad. If I had the chance next time I'd ask for a room on the back end further from the street. But all in all excellent. Breakfast is pretty standard, but it gets you going and the waffle machine is a nice touch.

Perfect location for a young family just off the Hollywood strip. Felt safe and secure during the whole stay. Staff were great and helpful throughout and we managed to use the pool all 6 days we were there. Recommend for anyone wanting to be close to the buzz of the city along with universal, Hollywood, Santa Monica etc.. will come back if in LA again

Car park is very tight, lots of work vans (huge vans) meant I dinged the rental car

Reception staff were friendly. Security was very reassuring. Location was good. The breakfast was decent as well and the staff were helpful.

Not enough room in the breakfast area. Had to pay 50 dollars for early check-in which was a bit dissapointing. Because of the location, there were a lot of emergency vehicles passing through so the noise levels outside were extremely loud at night. Obviously not the hotels fault but it is disruptive.

It was a really spacious well presented room in a good location. A good walk to Hollywood Blvd and easy distance to the Sunset Strip. I thought it was quite good value for money, well present considering I was barely there. I'd recommend it over Hollywood Guest Inn where I'd stayed previously and I would definitely conduct staying at Sunset West again

It was only really a place to sleep but it was a well presented hotel considering budgets. So no real criticism.

The hotel offered a good standard and was conveniently located. The breakfast, while simple and lacking vegetables, was still satisfying and provided a good start to the day.

During our stay, housekeeping was generally good, though there were occasional inconsistencies. Despite some homeless people in the area, we always felt safe thanks to the attentive hotel security guard.

I liked the location, the cleanliness of everything, and the breakfast, which was just right. An in-room mini-fridge is ideal for picking up a few items at the nearby Ralph’s market. Morning sun + cawfee by the pool = calm start. Sunset sun + Rosé wine by the pool = relaxed closing.

One thing hotel ownership needs is for management to have a choice not to change bed sheets for anyone who has an extended stay. Let's save water!

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good. The location was good for seeing Hollywood.

Alot of commotion from the next room. Shouting and swearing, that was the first night. Last night, someone was being voilently sick outside the room, and then you could hear them most of the night. Plus more shouting and swearing. I can't blame the hotel for what the other guests do. Car park is very tight, but we managed. Would I stop again, would depend on price etc.

The place was really nice, the breakfast was good, on 29th July Morning the person at the front desk was amazing! The pool was lovely, warm and really nice overall! The area was nice, few steps from Hollywood Boulevard
