I loved the location and the amenities. It was nice that there was a pool and whirlpool, laundry facilities and a gym. The location was my all time favourite part. Across from Newport mall and walking distance to target etc. The NJ rail that was virtually next door meant that you have easy access to explore New Jersey and get into Manhattan easily.

I wish the breakfast bar remained open a little longer but there were nearby options for breakfast so it was fine in the end. I wish there were a payment option for parking at a discounted rate as well, for those who have cars or persons who were coming to collect/ visit guests and may need to wait up to 15 minutes.

Wow! Our two queen room was nice and big! Very clean and comfy for four people - two adults and two nearly grown teens! Loved the space and room to move around in the room. Very clean, beds/pillows/linens were comfy. Nice big TV. My 16 year old teen even slept on the pull out couch bed rather than in the large queen bed with their sibling. They said it could have been comfier as there was a bar in the middle, hitting them. Despite that and being almost 6 ft tall, they slept there for six nights! So, it must have been at least okay. The linens were clean and ready in the closet when we arrived, which was very convenient. Appreciated the mini fridge in the room and free tooth brushes available at the front desk because both my kids neglected to pack them. Also appreciated the closet and drawers. The lobby was beautiful and clean. The location is incredible. Literally steps to the PATH station and after long days of exploring NYC, it was great to step off the train and be "home" without a long walk. The PATH went everywhere in the city so quickly and made taking the train and subway really easy. Parking was super easy. Lots of spaces and the parking staff was kind and helpful. We felt good knowing our vehicle was safe in an underground private lot. It was close by and easy to run by our vehicle on the way to the PATH station. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, although we mostly ate in NYC. The Frutto Bowls next to the parking garage was delicious and a great healthy break from all the food we had on the road. There was a nice snack machine and drink machine in the lobby as well.

One small inconvenience was that we were always given two cups and two coffee pods, despite our reservation being in a two queen room reserved for four people. We easily got more from the front desk, but it was annoying not having enough for the obviously four person room. We also needed a safe and microwave in the room. We knew on reservation that it did not include these things and we were happy with our room, but a safe should really be in every hotel room. It could easily be added and would make the value of the room better for the price.

Location of the hotel is perfect. You have the PATH next door which is a skip and a hop into the City on 33rd in a few minutes. Parking just behind the hotel isn't cheap but it's convenient. There is a small store/pharmacy behind the hotel and one block along a starbucks across the road and plenty of restaurants.

I come here often for business and leisure, you would think the staff would start to say hello more often than they do. One lift on this stay was out of order, I stayed there for 17 days as I had another booking and during this time it remained out of order awaiting parts and the only working lift didn't sound healthy.

There is possibly no better place to stay in order to catch the train into NYC. It's literally next door. This is a better-than-adequate place to stay as far as comfort, but the location is superb. It is across from a mall, which includes a food court, as well as other eateries. There is a Target a few blocks away. If you get the chance, venture a little further into the Jersey city neighborhoods. We had great ice cream at two different shops while we were there.

We had a king + couch and the room was significantly smaller than the 2 queen option. There is a small "restaurant/bar" downstairs but there didn't seem to be anyone there much of the time. Don't count on this for a meal.

The hotel is in a perfect location, if you don’t want to drive into NYC and avoid traffic and expensive bridges. The PATH train which takes you into the city is around the corner from the hotel. There’s also a water front walkway right next to the hotel, which it can be very useful for a perfect weather walk. The hotel is definitely much cheaper than hotels in New York City. I would recommend.

Hotel is next-door to a Path station with two lines, one towards downtown and one towards midtown. So, transportation from and to any place in Manhattan is quick and easy. However, it's important to note that Path is not within the MTA (subway New York) umbrella and MTA metro cards for unlimited rides (day, week or month) are not useful.

Restaurants around hotel are nice but I found missing some more cheap options (like McDonnalds, KFC, etc).

It was super convenient to get into NYC with the Path train steps from the hotel! Our room was a great size, and was really clean and comfortable. We also really enjoyed relaxing in the pool and jacuzzi in the evenings after walking around NYC all day!

The Starbucks Bistro was terrible. The food was not good and it was terribly overpriced. It would have been nice to have some other food options in or around the hotel.

I liked the location of the hotel. It is a nice place to walk around, and the PATH Newport station is next to it, so it was very easy to get into Manhattan. You also have the mall just across the street. The room was nice. We did not use the amenities (gym and pool), but they looked good. A plus was the hotel has a direct connection to a public parking, and it is very affordable.

I would have liked that breakfast was included. But other than that, there was nothing that I did not like.

Firstly the hotel is located about 5 mins walk from the Newport mall. Secondly you can reach The Path with about 15 mins walk which will take you directly to the New York Manhattan. Comfy beds, clean room, decent room service, kind personnel.

Felt a little overpriced but ok.

A nice stay for 7 nights with the family. Access to the Path and NYC is painless. Pool was nice. Friendly staff. Might stay again.

Expensive Awaken 2 different nights due to noisy people in adjoining rooms. Scam-bucks Hotel Starbucks, way overpriced compared to ones 5 min walk away. For info purposes: Path schedule on weekend changes.
