The location is centrally located in the downtown ( El Zócalo ) Easy to walk to after perusing the plaza, the diferent cathedrals, restaurants and shops to get snacks and essentials. Everything looked clean and organized. Its not a big property so you cant get lost. There was a person at the Front Desk all the time to let you in. There is also a roof top deck. There is also 2 patios on the diferent floors for some outdoor space if you dont want to be in your room. They had exta bathrooms on the second floor so if company stopped by or you didnt want to go all the way to your room anybody inside the building could use, which was convenient.

It was Hot in mexico city when i was there end of May so it would of been nice to have air conditioning in my room. They did supply a Fan which made it some what comfortable. And at night it cooled off a bit. Also would be nice to have a kitchen where you could make food or warm up something if you bought some groceries since they didn’t offer breakfast in the morning.

Excellent location, helpful staff 24/7, great value! Colonial-era exterior with a modern interior, no elevator but a nice terrace on the roof. Large room with street view, facing into a tree and with no windows opposite, which was charming. The waste line (plumbing) was not enclosed or sound proofed, so when someone showers above you hear the water, but it's really not an issue. Comfortable bed(s), large and roomy, but a chair would have been nice.

Hotel Amigo Suites is conveniently located near the zocalo/central plaza and the bus stop. Many plazas, places of interest, and restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. We checked in late at night c/o receptionist Roberto who was very helpful with our request for a late check-out. Frontdesk is open 24 hours. Paulina helped us with our check-out and luggage storage. The receptionists were fluent in speaking English. The room itself and the beddings are comfortable. There are several surfaces to put things on, although it's not the same for points to hang clothes on. Wifi connection is fast. One opportunity area is the strong smell of paint and/or varnish all the way from the reception area and even in the room. It is inconvenient especially for someone like me who has asthma. We had to open our door and/or window, so as to minimize the strong smell.

Exceptional value for money and location was walking distance to great restaurants, bars and museums. Staff were very helpful in arranging drivers and assisting with directions and local information. 24/7 manned reception added to the security

The location is great, just 2 blocks from Zocalo. There’s 7 eleven round the corner and a couple of places where you can get street food, fresh fruit juice, etc. literally steps away!

It would be great if the bathroom had some sort of ventilation. WiFi doesn’t really work there.

Location is great! (only a 200m from El Zocalo and right in the middle of the Casco histórico). The room was nice and big (after we asked for a better room as the first one was small and with no so much natural light). Good service overall.

The firt room we were given (in the corridor with no window more than a door/window) but they were very helpful in changing rooms on request.

It was a great value-oriented hotel. It was clean, had everything I needed, was in a central location and a fair price.

The room was a bit cold.

The room I was given had a lovely balcony looking over the street. I had asked for a room with a window and the staff arranged that as well as an early check in. The staff were very helpful at all times and the room was large and airy. Excellent hot shower and great location. Very comfortable bed.

The wifi in my original room was weak which was a problem as I work remotely. I asked to be changed to a room with better wifi and the staff were helpful with this. The wifi improved in the second room.
