We had everything we needed: robes for the pool, jacuzzi bathtub, nice thick mattresses which allowed us to sleep well. The rooftop pool is wonderful. It is a peaceful place tucked in behind a Main Street which has lots of good restaurants, a 711, massage places. There are tuk tuks you can get right outside. Beware though of tuk tuk drivers. This has nothing to do with the hotel but always agree on a prices before you get in and you can haggle the price. Also, if a tuk tuk driver tells you a place is closed but Google is telling you it’s open, believe Google and get a different tuk tuk. They’re trying to take you on a long trip that they organize and try to get you to pay a lot of money. Luckily we didn’t fall for it, but we did confront the same driver that tried to rip us off and he denied everything he had said so that was a bit disappointing but again has nothing to do with the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff was very helpful and kind.

Loved my whole stay at Chillax. The room and facilities were exactly like the photos! The room was lovely, the bed and bedding were so comfortable, everything else about the room was great. The roof top pool was excellent! The staff were welcome and so kind. Everything was clean and tidy. The location was excellent! Right outside are are few nice restaurants, a 7/11, a good massage spot. And I enjoyed my daily walks to Khao San Road and the surrounds.

The only thing I can write (which I knew from reading the reviews) was the air con was a little noisy, but overall this didn't affect me at all. Otherwise, I cannot fault Chillax.

The price is great and affordable. The staff are very nice and helpful. The bedroom is comfortable. The staff helped us when needed. Daily room service.

There were ants in the room in several locations, but when we mentioned it to the staff they took care if the problem. I think its important to make sure to take care of bug problems.

The room was great. The receptionist at night was helpful and friendly. Also the bell men were very nice and kind. Near Khaosan Road and The Grand Palace.

There were no BTS or MRT near by so it was a little difficult to move around the city. And of course like a lot of previous review, the receptionist during the day could make the ranking get lower, if you don’t wanna say they were not friendly at all. Luckily, the bellmen and night shift save the point.

The room was amazing, bigger than expected and spotlessly clean, and of course the air-con was welcomed at the end of the day. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby once my body clock adjusted to the time difference. I didn't try the in-room jacuzzi, maybe next time. Location wise, the hotel was perfectly positioned away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Most places being walking distance or a short ride away, and the area is well served with great places to eat, party or just relax, depending on what you're there for. Breakfast was incredible, buffet style and everything was fresh and spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderfully friendly and attentive without being over-bearing. It's wonderful to see people take pride in what they do, as hospitality is a tough industry as it's people focused, so well done to everyone at the Chillax, you're doing a great job. Finally, the rooftop pool. This was my own personal sanctuary while in Bangkok, it allowed me to slowly acclimatise whilst enjoying the friendly ambience. I'm booked to return and more than happy to recommend the Chillax based on my first experience. This review is based on this, I had no issues as I'm solo travelling and able to plan and prepare as I go. All I say is to keep track of your bookings, payments etc and you shouldn't have any issues. The staff are there to help. Enjoy your stay, I did, and I'm happy to be going back in a few weeks.

Nothing. I wasn't looking for perfection. But I found a sanctuary that served me well while I was there. We can be picky and some people have a tendency to find fault where it doesn't exist. Remember, this is Thailand, be humble, be respectful, smile, and the country will embrace you.

A friend & myself stayed at the Chillax Resort for 3 nights. Check in was efficient & friendly, although we had to fill in a check in form with details they already had. We were upgraded to deluxe rooms. The rooms were comfortable, spotlessly clean, good aircon & with everything in perfect working order. Water & tea/coffee was topped up each day. The pool area was comfortable & relaxing with beach towels supplied. There is also a bar up there. We only had breakfast one morning (299 bht). There was quite a good selection to choose from but we got down at 9am and a lot of foods had run out and not been replenished (even though it was quiet with only 5 guests eating). This needs to be kept on top of. I would definitely stay here again as the breakfast was the only small negative and there are plenty of places serving breakfast right infront of the hotel. It’s also in a great location and all the areas I walked alone in around Bangkok felt safe.

My room is big, clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly and able to communicate well in English, which was needed for taking car rides. There were plenty of good restaurants around. Make sure to walk to the nearest ferry stop, called 'Prat Athit' (a 15-minute walk). The blue line ferry takes you to several sights for as little as THB40, which you can get at the ferry station. The restaurants next to the hotel serve delicious food! The hotel provides a decent breakfast for THB299.

The air conditioner was really loud. Since it wasn’t that hot in the room, I slept without turning it on, but the air conditioners from the other rooms, which were mounted outside the hotel, were loud.

It's a comfortable and strategic hotel to stay in Bangkok city. The hotel has a very beautiful infinity pool and gym to use and enjoy. Initially our room bathtub drainage was clogged, we told the problem, they fixed it and everything works fine. The staff are friendly and efficient. On the other hand, the hotel' nearby has bars, restaurants, and 7-11, it's very convenient. Travellers can take the nearest mrt Sam Yot to travel around Bangkok destinations. I would suggest to take a taxi or grab service to the mrt station. Overall the hotel is excellent, the location is quiet because the hotel is not located near to the main road, it's a nice place to stay and relax.

Nothing much to write what I dislike about the place, just that our personal toothbrushes were thrown away by the room service, we were slightly upset but it's a small matter.

The staff were very friendly, always greeting us with a smile when we passed through the lobby. We had booked a standard room but were pleasantly upgraded to a fantastic room — perhaps because it was a quiet period, but it was still a lovely gesture. Breakfast was well-stocked, and the in-room jacuzzi was clean, spacious, and relaxing. The location was perfect for us, with plenty to explore nearby. It’s just a short walk to the river ferry for getting around and a quick tuk tuk ride to the nightlife area. There’s also a convenient and affordable laundry shop right outside the entrance, which was much appreciated after some time travelling.

Only a small thing - the rooftop pool access was from a different area of the hotel, so needed to go to the ground floor, through the lobby to another lift to access the pool.

Location and friendly staff, everything in walking distance, ferry station, some temples, Khaosan Road for the party and tons of local restaurants!.

The toilet didn’t have any separation with the bedroom itself, so it seems you are in the toilet while someone watching you.
