Great Room Size and equipment, nice beach and great food. Staff was also nice generally at the restaurant and by the pool.

One day, they didn't make up and clean our room, despite a number of reminders by calling the reception. They also didn't provide us with enough towels the first day and it took 1.5h and 5 calls to the reception to get the towels we needed. Unfortunately these 2 events, minor but unexpected from a 5 star hotel gave a bitter taste to our stay this time.

I can really dont understand how people gove 1-3 stairs to this hotel. we stayed at the hotel for 7 days and everything was perfect. the hotel itself is very nice, there are good restaurants, café and a playroom for children and the lobby is large and comfortable. There are several swimming pools and they are warmed 25' and nice beach. the rooms are large with their own balcons. the hotel was very clean. The staff are very nice and helpful and very service minded. If we come to Doha again, we will definitely choose the same hotel again.

The hotel design is combination of old architecture and new modern architecture which makes it unique ;the rooms are very good size , we enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pool and beach facilities, nice variety of restaurants and cafes in the hotel, the secret garden on roof terrace has a wonderful view of West Bay,very good staff

The hotel is really beautiful and in a great location, the decor is stunning. It looks like a palace in the reception area. The reception staff are lovely and very attentive. The hotel has great facilities, very clean and fab amenities. The beach staff are lovely and very attentive.

We had a lovely stay, however I requested 2 quiet rooms during the booking process. One room was fine, the other room 107 was next to what turned into a noisy bar/nightclub at night. I spoke to reception to complain, they apologised, however it did unfortunately ruin our sleep until it finished in the early hours. One night I was told it would finish at 4am. This needs to be looked at by the hotel, you cannot have a noisy bar near a guests room, it’s supposed to be a relaxing stay. A couple of other comments, we are in the Arabic restaurant on our last night, it was a buffet, the staff were attentive for the first 5 mins, then we had to keep asking them to bring water, change our plates and provide more cutlery, we were ignored, I noticed others were too, the staff need retraining.

The hotel itself, and staff is just perfect! You feel the hospitality from the first step to the hotel. The men who welcome you with delicous Arabic coffee are very friendly and kind. We met with Laura in the reception, she is very helpful, friendly and professional. We thank her a lot. Safaa, and her team mates the ladies in Red were our daughter’s friend in the first day, she loved the cookies and baloones. Safaa made her happy in every chance, that was very important us. Ahmed bellboy Ahmed was so nice. Cleaning team, Abdella, Simutra and Adham were friendly and professional. Thank these hard working people. Lifeguad, Mr Sandie was very kind for our baby with providing circle, and other equipment. His kind face shows his kind heart. Restauran team, Hadii, Billy, Steven, Hassan, and other supervisor and managers did their best for making us happy. There were some I do not know their team, I thank them as well. The chefs during iftar time were very helpful. And Shisha maker Mr. Ramzi, was Master! The nurse Shensi was very operative and helpful in our request. Overall, this success is because of well organized and trained team work and professional management by Mr. Yazan Latif, the rest managment. As a seefood lover, I excpected to see more sea food options, but anyhow the food qualty was good. The rest was super!

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Marsa Malaz Kempinski. The hotel impressed us with its cleanliness, tranquility, and excellent service throughout our visit. Room & Facilities Our Deluxe Pearl View Room King was spacious, well-maintained, and offered a picturesque view of the Pearl area. The hotel itself exuded elegance and was incredibly peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. Our room though was few floors above staff and loading bay entrance and it can get a bit noisy even at night due to work activities. Beach & Services The beach, while not spectacular, was still good enough for relaxing. The standout feature of our stay was undoubtedly the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, which added a touch of luxury to the experience. Breakfast Breakfast was decent, but there’s room for improvement. While the service was great, the food selection could have been better. The juices were not fresh, and the buffet lacked salads, vegetables, and traditional Middle Eastern options, which would have enhanced the dining experience. Location The hotel’s proximity to the Pearl area was a plus. The Pearl is a charming and upscale district, perfect for a leisurely stroll or dining out. However, the location is a bit far from other attractions like malls and the city center. That said, getting around with Careem or Uber was easy and convenient. Weather & Atmosphere Visiting in December was a welcome break from the European cold, with daytime temperatures around 22°C—ideal for exploring or relaxing outdoors. Doha, compared to Dubai, is a quieter destination with fewer crowds in malls and restaurants, which we found quite refreshing.

Some rooms can be located near noisy places

The hotel has a luxurious feeling and many entry points for a better convenience. The staff is generally nice, especially the house keeping people. The beach adjacent to the hotel is exclusive for the hotel guests. For those who like fine sand, it would be an excellent choice.

Buffet for breakfast was not to a par of the 5 star hotel, the food was dry. Personally, I recommend trying many restaurants available in a walking proximity, where are many spots in the Venice type settlement. I didn't appreciate a phone call at 4AM in the morning, and when I called back I was told it was a mistake. At 4AM, I panicked without an official apology.

Room, cleanliness, service, staff - perfect. Breakfast - for me, it should be better in a 5-star hotel (tidy tables, warm eggs, mainly smiling and nice staff, maybe there were part-timers at breakfast, they forgot, didn't know, their cutlery fell...), here it was such a better dining room. But overall the breakfast was okay.

So here, a huge disappointment. Kempinski 5 stars, 8 restaurants. None were possible (yes, it was Ramadan, I understand that, but the hotel simply has to say this in advance - EVERYTHING will be closed), so the only one for lunch and dinner - Public House and that really NOT, eating every day with a 7-year-old child, in a 5-star hotel (we had paid half-board, pizza, hamburgers or salmon, all the time.....? ). The service was reluctant, we waited 40 minutes for the food, there were no cutlery, there were no salt shakers, there was nothing... and when to my question, please? The answer is always, Ramadan is ok, but this was really bad. One restaurant open (more like a sports bar) and another was closed. The hotel should have told you in advance that everything will be closed.

Quality of service (very friendly, helpful, courteous and respectful. We were contacted in advance via WhatsApp if in case we needed anything. We mentioned we were celebrating my wife's birthday and they had a cake ready for us on arrival) - 10. Food at breakfast (quality, freshness, choice - including for vegans) - 10 Activities for kids (kids club, swimming pool, beach, bouncy castle, tv room, games room) - 10 Location - very near the key hotspots, especially when with kids - 10 Views and size of the room (which was huge! We are a family of 4 with 2 under 2 and there was enough space where it never felt like we were tripping over our own stuff) - 10 Fitness facilties and spa - 10 Only stayed in doha for 3 days but will come back and stay for longer just to relax in the hotel a little longer

Myself and family stayed in The Marsa Malaz Kempinski, Doha, during our trip to Qatar. It is definitely one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The entire place was immaculate, luxurious and modern. The staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient in dealing with any minor request we had. There were excellent food options with multiple restaurants on site and plenty of options for the full/half board - we’re particularly enjoyed the Japanese Nozomi and Levantine As-Sufra restaurants. The titan tikes kids club was great for entertaining my children. Excellent health club and swimming/beach facilities also. The location was easily accessible by taxi to the major attractions in Doha (most Ubers arrived within 1 minute of requesting them). I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone considering it - we’re keen to return!
