I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Qatar, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel truly welcomed. A special shout-out to Hamza Javed, the Duty Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience. The hotel is home to Sarhad Premium, an outstanding Pakistani restaurant that serves some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. The authentic Lahori flavors were incredibly rich and delicious – words can't quite capture the depth of taste. It was a delightful culinary experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Doha. For food lovers, this place is a must! The service at the restaurant was also impeccable. Miss Aisha, the restaurant manager, was incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. Additionally, Santosh provided excellent customer service throughout, always going the extra mile to ensure our needs were met. As for the hotel itself, it offered everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff, facilities, and overall atmosphere were top-notch, and I will definitely be returning in the future. Lovely hotel, with very spacious rooms. We booked 3 rooms and they gave us rooms right next to each other, which was very convenient. The hotel is a quick and cheap uber ride away from all the main attractions, you could walk to some places if you wanted but it was way too hot. The staff are friendly and the cleaning staff cleaned our rooms everyday. It was really nice to come back to our rooms cleaned after spending the day exploring. The hotel also has a rooftop swimming pool upstairs, which was nice. There are also segregated hot tubs for men and women as well as a gym. All in all, I would definitely book this hotel again if I were to come back. We really enjoyed our stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, it was a straight up 10/10.

The place is close to Souq Waquif, the metro station and as well the great museums of the city, which was great.

I was not very happy to get a very dark room, since I booked a room for several nights, but after addressing it I got a lovely room the next day, which was really appreciated. I was not very happy that the pool was closed for renovation, as this was part of the reason I booked the hotel. The work during the day was also very loud and above my new room, but after mentioning it the personal was immediately helping and trying to sort it (I could have changed to a new room, if I wanted)

We were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade to a massive apartment. The suite is so spacious you could play hide and seek in the room: it included two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an additional toilet, a walk-in closet, living room, and a kitchenette. The room came with complimentary bottled water and was immaculately clean and well-equipped. The hotel's location is convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The only downside was the apartment's location on the top floor, where noise from rooftop air conditioning units was noticeable.

I like the fact that the location of the hotel is near to the airport and also to the nearest tourist apots. And what i like most its very near to the corniche where you can walk and enjoy the view. And of course the staff of the hotel from the reception to the housekeeping thank you for the great service. Thank you for the fast action when i ask to move us to a different room.

It's not that i didn't like it, i expect that the room has a dining area and a sofa as what it says in the description. Thought it has a sitting area but it mention also a sofa. The first room was a bit dark specially the bathroom. But then i requested if we can transfer to a different room. The hotel was nice i think they should upgrade the interior of the room. We booked this hotel for a one-night layover and were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to a suite. The suite was clean, spacious, and offered plenty of storage and surface space. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The food at the restaurant was delicious and added to the positive experience.

However, there are a few areas for improvement. The windows could be cleaned more frequently, and the couch had some stains that seemed permanent. Additionally, the bathroom could be a bit larger to enhance overall comfort.

The staff at front desk was fantastic guy, fast check-in and so helpful. The hotel location is quite near Hamad international airport (just under 15 min by car). Room and bathroom was so spacious and furniture in the room was nice. The bed was comfortable with clean bedding. Toiletries in the bathroom was enough for 2 persons and also tea selection. big bottle of water was provided which is a plus.

The cleanliness could be improved, we have seen some spot and finger sign of previous guests on doors and furniture all over the room. The room temperature was not adjustable and was a bit cold. No issues for us, but it could be difficult for families with children. It was only G-type (UK style) power plug in the room, a universal plug could be an advantage (the USB charging plug was available in the room).
