Loved everything about this hotel! The location was good, and the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by a beautifully scented atmosphere throughout the reception and common areas. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to assist. Our room was spacious and comfortably accommodated my family and me. It truly felt like the ideal place for a family stay. The direct connection to City Centre Mall was also a huge plus, as it made shopping incredibly convenient with plenty of stores to explore. Breakfast was exceptional – delicious, healthy, and offered a great variety. We looked forward to it every morning! The building also had a variety of restaurants for dining in the evening in case you don't want to go far from the hotel. The spa and pool area were also serene and well-maintained – a great way to unwind. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The only thing I’d say is that the interior furniture could benefit from a slight upgrade to give the space a more modern and brighter feel. That said, it didn’t affect our overall experience in any way.

Location good, ''protected'' passage from metro DECC to the Hotel, also CC Mall is in proximity and just few minutes' walk.. Room size was great and well equipped, Nice partial view to the sea. Pool is great, with many sections and Jacuzzi, hamaks, beds SPA amenities, Sauna and Steam - are great. Amenities are good, breakfast variety and versatility is good, reception is very responsive and quick to react. Staff is very supportive and helpful.

Nothing much to say, just very minor ones: 1. There is another Marriot Marquis in the area, during check in went there, and was directed to JW Marriott, 2. in pool is age restriction, below 18. (Even if kid knows swimming), and compliance is strictly monitored by vigilant lifeguard. 3. HVACs can't be adjusted, either need to switch off, or leave running only in one room.

Had a great time staying at the JW Marriott.We always had a special liking for the Marriot hotel and being a couple who enjoys to travel have always tried to get ourselves accomodated with the Marriott in any country we have been too because of the wonderful experience they give us ,and JW Marriott Marquis have been no different with a very helpful staff to guide us with lot of warmth, along with the cleanliness of the room,the location,and the size of the room which gave use a lot of comfort.With Jw Marriott Marquis being very close to city centre and also with the easy access from the hotel to the mall ,it also helps us to keep ourselves occupied.Thank you all for a wonderful experience

We upgraded to a better suite and were very impressed

The main pool is split between a kids side and adult side but the kids pool is only suitable for smaller children under 10 as it is quite shallow for older children(10 plus) When we tried to use the other side with our teenage son aged 12 we were told that this was not allowed as the other side was for adults only so myself and another customer who was very unhappy with this rule complained and they agreed for us to use the larger pool on this occasion.This was the only downside to the hotel and unless they change this rule and make it crystal clear to customers on their website when booking I won’t be staying there again sadly. Hassan on reception during our check in was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was very clean.

Room was very comfortable with excellent view. Location was perfect , adjacent to mall, near metro station with tunnel connection, near corniche, museums, Souq Wakıf, Old port Breakfast was very fresh, delicious and quality of goods . Pool, jacuzi , saunas, steam room and gym were very clean and service was perfect.

our reservation was half board breakfast and dinner, dinner food were very delicious but very limited choice of courses, after 3 days it is entering same cycle, choices can be increased.

The hotel is stylish, very comfortable, and conveniently located above the City Centre Doha shopping mall. It has a beautiful French-inspired café on the ground floor, and we highly recommend purchasing access to the executive lounge, where we indulged in their delicious dinner buffet and happy hour each night. Our room had everything we needed and more: dressing gowns, slippers, iron, coffee machine, separate bath and shower and amazing views. Every single staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful and informative. Special mention must be made of the gentleman on the front desk who checked us in on 18.10.2024 (unfortunately we cannot recall his name), as well as Chanceline in the breakfast room, who greeted us with a beaming smile and first class service, and Arzun (we don’t think we have spelt his name correctly) in pool reception. But again, everyone was amazing. They were also very responsive to our questions in the lead up to our stay. Make sure you ask the taxi to take you to the JW Marriott Marquis City Centre, rather than the Marriott Marquis City Centre. They are different hotels (but are close and they have organised a shuttle buggy from one to the other for all the people who get it wrong - like us)! Breakfast, oh my goodness the breakfast! If it’s not included in your package, include it! Every cuisine and dietary requirement is catered for including divine breads, Middle Eastern dips, and freshly squeezed and detox juices. You can also order eggs any way you like them, as well as sweet and savoury crepes. The pool area was huge, beautifully landscaped with lots of different types of lounges and seating areas, including free cabanas. We loved the pool being divided into child friendly and adults only. Also loved the swim bar and the excellent cocktails. We made use of the steam room, sauna, showers, large change room, located near the pool area. Thank you for the fluffy towels, apples, iced face washers and refreshingly cool lemon water!

The executive lounge had a smell of smoke in it because it was close to the smoking lounge.

I recently stayed at JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha with my family during a stopover in Doha, and I couldn't have made a better choice. Marriott hotels have always been a reliable option worldwide, and this stay was no exception. Everything about the hotel was excellent. A special thank you to the lady at the reception! We arrived early in the morning, and she kindly arranged a complimentary early check-in for us. While we were enjoying breakfast, she made sure our room was ready. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered amazing views from the window. Our overall experience was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha. Exceptional service, comfort, and hospitality all in one!

A very beautiful and elegant hotel. I would like to thank the hotel manager for choosing the staff. All of them are professional and friendly. They brought me a very beautiful cake on the occasion of my husband’s birthday. Thank you very much. The executive lounge is very beautiful and the person in charge of the lounge is a very polite person. The number of guests was very large and the staff were very professional. We did not feel any delay in any request. The food in the lounge is very beautiful. I will repeat the visit very soon.

The room was very spacious and the staff was kind enough to accept our request for giving our rooms at the higher floor. The breakfast was SOOO amazing and had a huge variety of cuisines. They also provided a hot jacuzzi which we enjoyed during the winter.

The lighting in the room was less. during the day time it is fine because of the sunlight. But at night, the rooms have less lighting. The swimming pool was said to be temperature controlled, however, it was not and the water was really cold. we couldn't enjoy the pool.

Instead of staying for one night in the hotel everything was amazing from the reception (thanks to the Egyptian receptionist ahmad) till the room and the pool staff really really im thankful for staying here.the room was so clean and comfy , the amenities was great and special thanks for the management for making this hotel so special and recommended 😀 😊
