Staying at this service apartment was a truly delightful experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met, from quick check-in to helpful local recommendations. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and well-equipped, providing a comfortable and convenient home away from home.

While the apartment boasted a dishwasher, it was rendered virtually useless without the necessary tablets, forcing me to hand-wash all dishes. This was a considerable inconvenience and negated one of the key benefits of having a dishwasher in the first place.

The rooms were big. Everything was clean. We had the 2 bedroom deluxe. It had a large living room with a dining area, a kitchen with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, a stove with an oven, a coffeemaker and kettle. There were adequate plates, glasses and cutlery as well. There was a storage area off the kitchen with cabinets for extra storage. There was a washing machine with an in-built dryer. Each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom and large wardrobes. My friends and I loved everything. We used the pool and we enjoyed that as well. The staff at the front desk always had smiles and met all our needs. There was a perky lady who always had a smile at the front desk. She gave us all the information we needed regarding the use of the metro, taxis, etc. The location is quite good as everywhere we needed to go was easily accessible by metro, taxi or Uber. I will definitely book them for a trip with my family.

Absolutely nothing.

The security guard and receptionist greet us quickly and easily as soon as you walk through their front entrance. The flats' primary qualities are their cleanliness and space (I reserved two different kinds); the location is also excellent, being close to the city center mall and the sea. It was quite simple to get to the pool and the gym. The reception lounge offers complimentary Arabian coffee and dates to everyone.

Probably the fact that I was unable to get a sea view because of availability as they mentioned

Moderately clean No soap in the kitchen No soap for the dishwasher we waited 2 days without clean kitchen utensils, to note i am not traveling 3 nights in a 5 stars hotel to buy dishwasher soap Hair shampoo and conditioner provided only once during our 3 nights , i used the body soap as a shampoo for the subsequent nights but the conditioner i did not have enough for the third night ( i think every day the bathroom should be provided with new shampoo and conditioner samples) No breakfast Pool very small, no towels

We really enjoyed our stay at Sommerset. Room had a modern environment being comfortable and providing all the necessary equipment for you to do all your activities. Swimming pool is very friendly (it has a ladies’ hour from 2pm to 4pm) is reasonably deep and benefits from the sunlight. Staff is kind, available to help you and everything in our experience was extremely efficient.

As the restaurant is also a club that doesn't allow ladies with local attire to enter. Taking in consideration the people we saw in the hotel this could be a point to improve.

Tea and Coffee Item always not available in the room you have to call housekeeping in a daily basis to bring it for you.

24*7 Restaurant available on the ground floor with bar. Beautiful view from rooms, nice and friendly staff. All amenities available in the kitchen. TV available on all rooms. Safe in one room. Car Parking available. Near to the beaches and city centre mall, metro station etc. Wifi, water dispenser provided.

4*7 Restaurant available on the ground floor. You have to visit the restaurant and scan the code for menu. Hotel should keep the menu code on each room. The menu is mainly western and local. No options for vegetarians and few choice for subcontinent tourists.

The Somerset west bay has a great location near by city center and the beach and close by many attraction places in Qatar. Family wise and has great and decent facilities. The room was specious and clean and the kitchen equipped with full set. I love the idea of having a supermarket within the property and can be ordered via phone. I am sure anyone with family will appreciate all these services. My kids love the swimming pool and kids playroom.

I just have 2 comment. During our stay we felt that AC need to be maintained as there was minor noise. Second the bat-tub needs a partition to maintain waist water

I liked how easy the check-in and check-out process, the staff were really helpful and friendly. The apartment was super spacious, and had a water Dispenser, coffee machine, washing machine in the kitchen. Safe, ironing board, iron machine (in one room out of 3 rooms). The views from all bedrooms were also nice, overlooking the beach. The apartment is so suitable for big group of family and friends.

The telephone in our apartments were all not working, so whenever we needed to call reception it wouldn't connect, and we had to go out of the apartment to the reception to ask our questions. at night, there is loud music coming from the restaurant beside the elevators in the ground floor, but it wouldn't reach all way to our apartment (which is a good thing)

The staff were so friendly and helpful .I was traveling with my family the guy at the reception gave me a really spacious room with sea view , all the the tourist places and daily needs were close by such as gas station,mini market, city center mall, pharmacy ,Cornish, restaurants, I really enjoyed my stay in Somerset West Bay Doha
