The lady at reception let us check in way earlier than check in time as she could see we were jet lagged. The breakfast was amazing. The ambiance of the hotel was exceptionall. We checked out the evening before departure and asked if they could give us something to eat as we paid for breakfast and they gave us sandwiches, fruit and coffee.

Everything was perfect

Breakfast was superb. Best choice and quality we have ever experienced. The staff could not do enough for you. Everything was spotlessly clean. There was always someone at reception to help with a smile. Reception had a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. The hotel was close to the beach, metro and shopping mall. All within a short walk. Our room had a beautiful sea view. It was quiet, dark at night and had every facility to make the vacation special. Some very minor dislikes: Very squeaky bathroom door handle. Better instructions needed on the use of the beach. (voucher required from reception) I requested a larger bath robe but this was not followed through. However, these negatives did not outweigh the many positives of staying here and we would definitely stay here again. Fantastic!

The staff were very polite and accommodating (especially at breakfast). We thought they were exceptional, the best thing about the hotel. There is a good gym but the pool closes a bit early we wanted to use it in the early evening (after a day sightseeing) and it was closed.

The nearest Metro station is the DECC, but it is not very close to the hotel. Taxis are reasonably priced though. We would not stay in West Bay again. We would choose the Corniche area next time because there is more going on there and it's closer to Souq Waqif. The room was large with nice views but a little dated and the shower floor needs attention. It constantly flooded. The restaurant food was good but not great, we preferred to eat out and skipped a breakfast and an evening meal despite having booked half board for 4 nights.

Breakfast was amazing, lots of options. Even had chocolate fountain and ice cream one day. Went at Eid time and all staff were giving mubarak and were super helpful regarding facilities, sightseeing around the city and beach amenities. Beach access was free everyday (comes with hotel stay) and is easy to get access to, right across the street and is v quiet. My friend landed in the country 13 hours before check in and hotel staff held her luggage and allowed her to rest in the reception till the room was ready and even allowed room upgrade to a higher floor and early check in free of charge! Hotel concierge was extremely helpful in giving info regarding getting around the city in the cheapest way and the best spots to visit and even recommended places to visit within walking distance of the hotel when we didn’t want to travel too late at night. Excellent service and stay at this hotel, exceptional quality for its price, would definitely recommend.

The breakfast could have more variety. There were no slippers available for the walk from the changing room to the swimming pool, which were actually very much needed.

Good location within Doha, direct access to the beach (just across the street), large bedroom, nice sea view, well equipped gym, outstanding breakfast buffet with lots of choices, both sweet and savoury. I notably liked the florentine eggs (and the egg station manned by Patrick), Manakish, labné and the delicious saffron ice cream.

Some finishing touches in the room looked a bit rushed, probably explained by pressure to complete the hotel in time for the World cup. My guess is that this is no dissimilar from other hotels completed around the same time.

The cleaning service is great, special thanks to Kaberi and Amran for their dedication & amazing service! We do appreciate all the cleaning team efforts & how guests oriented they are!

Our see view rooms came with great view except the windows were somehow spotted from the outside, I raised this comment to reception & they said windows cleaning from outside needs alignment with management & it’s difficult to make it happen during our stay Also I noticed in the last day that the mini fridge in my room is not cold but I didn’t ask them to fix it Breakfast have wide selection with good quality except for the coffee, which I think can be improved Also it would be great if they can keep breakfast until 11 AM

Excellent stay! We were greeted with warm hospitality and efficient check-in service, which was very late due to delays in-transit. The hotel is just a short walk from the City Centre shopping mall, which made it incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and, of course, some retail therapy. We also made use of the DECC metro. With easy access to the beach the hotel caters for all a wide range of travellers. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely city view and all amenities needed for a relaxing stay.

The towels, while clean and refreshed daily, appeared a bit dated and had lost their crisp white color. Nevertheless, this had no effect on the enjoyment of our stay.

We spent six wonderful days in this amazing upscale hotel, which was very clean, environmentally-friendly, and nicely-decorated. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff was kind, helpful and very professional. Thanks to their exceptional service, we felt pampered all the time. Last but not least, its location was very good. The hotel is just five minutes on foot to two big malls and opposite of a private beach which you have free access to. If we visit Qatar again, this hotel will be our first preference for sure. They deserve a big Thank You for their exemplary hospitality.

No foot towels and a shoehorn. Maybe next time they can add foot towels and shoehorns to the amenities in the rooms.
