People: From the first entrance to the hotel to the final ride to the airport the hotel's team hospitality was above all expectations. Our big thanks to the team who made our stay comfortable and memorable and I would like to extend my special thanks to people who made our room during our stay as our daughter spent a lot of time in the room preparing for exams and they had only short intervals when we went out for lunch or dinner to do their job which they did exceptionally well and with great respect. The hotel also also offered us early check-in and late check-out which helped us to enjoy Doha on the days of arrival and departure. Amenities: Everything was in excellent condition. The room is equipped with everything necessary including tea pot, Nespresso machine and iron as well as ironing board which proved to be very useful with morning mist in Doha while we were there. There were also lots of free water bottles delivered daily in the room which helped in hot weather. Our room was on the 14th floor, elevator arrived in seconds after the call, we never waited. Breakfast: Excellent food and service. Good start for the day. Try spicy mixture in juices section, very refreshing. Beach: Hotel partners with Doha Sands Beach across the road. Very clean beach and water, we went there almost every day in the morning. Beach provides free towels and one free bottle of water. General: Hotel is great, vibrant place to live in with restaurants, live performances and spa to visit next time.

I want to share my experience at W Doha. Due to the low reviews, I was unsure whether to book it, so I decided to check it out upon arrival and make my decision then. The location is perfect—the sea is just a few meters away, and malls are nearby. It’s right in the city center, making everything easily accessible. From the moment you enter the hotel, you feel a positive vibe. Security is top-notch, evident even at the entrance. The guards and concierge are very helpful. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the welcome desk personnel. We were welcomed by Herman, who was incredibly helpful and kind-hearted. He explained everything clearly and assisted us with great care. Ani is a rare find—her beauty matches her beautiful heart. She arranged a Valentine’s Day surprise in our room, with roses, balloons, and sweets. It was our first night at the hotel, and the experience was truly thrilling. She also gave advice on how to enjoy staying in Doha. Concierge Efe helped us organize a safari tour. He provided detailed and clear recommendations, ensuring we had the best experience. Throughout our stay, the staff remained attentive and supportive, ensuring we felt comfortable. The hotel is exactly as described and looks just like the pictures. Everything is spotlessly clean, with housekeeping done twice a day. The staff is always ready to assist. If I ever had any doubts about staying, I now know exactly where I’ll stay whenever I visit Doha. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of options. The hotel also hosts many events, so you never feel bored. It’s 100% worth staying here, and I highly recommend it!

Classy hotel with very friendly staff who do go the extra mile to make you feel special. Breakfast buffet scores 11/10. Absolutely brilliant with extensive choice and attentive waiting staff to bring a la carte choices. Room was modern, comfortable and the bathroom large with a great shower. Reception very pretty with frankly breathtaking flower displays at the entrance. Due to a cleaning issue with our room, we were given a super-late checkout on our departure date and a voucher for a drink in their bar by Tariq for which we were very grateful and for which he deserves a special thanks. I love a hotel that cares about all its guests and the W Doha certainly does that.

My wife and I stayed at the W for a 4-day layover before our honeymoon trip to the Maldives. We have nothing but positive things to say about the hotel. First of all, they upgraded our room because we were on our honeymoon and helped us arrange a late checkout, as our departure flight was very early — this was a huge help. But that’s not the main reason I wanted to leave a review. The real highlight was the staff — incredibly attentive and helpful. From the security at the entrance, to the receptionists, to the room cleaners, everyone was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of international options as well as Arabic/Oriental dishes. It was definitely worth it. We will definitely stay again during future trips to Doha and will look for the W brand in other locations

Everything is fantastic at the hotel. The staff are absolutely phenomenal, they are extremely friendly, attentive and remember your name. The facilities are outstanding. The room was extremely comfortable and roomy. Bathroom had everything. Doha sands (beach access) is right across the road, easy walking distance. There is a shopping mall just around the corner which is an easy 5min walk that has everything you could possibly need, including a supermarket. The metro stop is just behind the shopping mall, about a 10min walk. An extremely easy place to access with everything you could need within such easy reach. Also the breakfast is outstanding. The variety of food is exceptional, the staff are so attentive and amazing. We stayed for 3 days and they knew us by name after the first time. The W hotel defines hospitality.

Amazing high class hotel, from the moment you set foot into the hotel the attention from all staff is amazing. We were upgraded from the cool corner suite to the WOW suite which has full beach view. The room was cleaned like three times a day something I have never experienced and I never once saw a cleaning trolley, it was like they just knew we were out and cleaned the room straight away. All the fine touches from making up the room to all the luxuries left in the room amazing. Breakfast was amazing with a full buffet and table menu for a vast range of additional items you can order to your table. Attention to detail from the staff shout out to Thant 🤩 who gave us first class service, so polite he even remembered our last day and bought over a lovely pancake decorated plate. You can tell the staff are trained to a high standard from the door staff to reception to pool staff to the cleaning staff.

There is nothing to say here just that keep up the great work you do

From the concierge, doorman, receptionists , cleaners, and waiters, all were exceptionally friendly, caring, and professional. This hotel is awesome! I loved the room, so it is convenient with everything you can imagine. Toothbrushes, slippers, ample and great quality towels, fantastic bed, the list goes on and on. ( Although a second chair in the room would make it perfect, one of us sat on the bed, and the other one on the only chair). We loved the breakfast! Every morning, we were greeted with a smile from the hostess, Mia. She made us feel so welcome. The waiters were also amazing. My coffee cup was never empty. We loved the variety of food. It was great with lots of choices. Pool staff were so friendly. If I ever visit Qatar again, I will book this hotel without a doubt. The location is also great, with the City Centre mall and a metro station only 5 to 10 minutes walking away.

The fact that there is only one chair in the Marvelous Room.

The W Doha was fabulous from the first welcome. We were met and offered local drink at check in and the very friendly Tuns offered us a significant room upgrade to an enormous 2 bedroom suite ( as there was a slight booking error) with additional complimentary drinks. Suite had washing machine, kitchen coffee machine, huge lounge area with L shaped lounge. Cleaning staff did an amazing job (sorry I didn’t get names to give them a shout out) their silent work did not go unnoticed- stars! The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing with a gorgeous array of interesting foods. But the wait staff are equally impressive with genuine friendliness and warmth. Joy (by name and nature) greets everyone enthusiastically at the counter. However, special shout out to Pamela who served us so warmly 2 mornings she was a ray sunshine each morning and to Marina and Thant who kindly ensured we had everything ( and more) that we needed! The meal in the spice market restaurant was fabulous, Desmond looked after us and we had complimentary food and dessert with our meal. Everything about our stay here was generous! Highly recommended! Location - short walk to the “City Centre” shopping mall that has multiple places to eat from usual food chains IHOP, McDonalds etc and links easily to metro station.

Was amazing stay. *A recommendation for the “residences/ suite” would be a place to dry clothes as we couldn’t get the dryer to work in washing machine and wasn’t sure if it had a dryer component. So a small hanging area in the utility room could be helpful. Suggestion only not a complaint.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the experience was fantastic. The hotel was not only clean but also incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect retreat. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always made sure I felt welcomed and at ease. I did have a minor issue with a taxi driver during my stay, but I was truly impressed by how the hotel team handled the situation. They stood in for me, took immediate action, and worked quickly to resolve the issue. What really stood out was how they kept checking in on me afterward to make sure I was okay, which made me feel valued and cared for. The breakfast buffet was also incredible—such a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right! Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for excellent service and a comfortable stay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great, with easy access to the beach. Breakfast is excellent, with a good variety in both the buffet and a la carte options. The room was cozy and spacious, very comfortable bed.

The pool area is the downside of this hotel: it's small, basically serves kids but not attractive at all for adults. We saw only chairs and couches available, no sun loungers for a simple reason: it was poorly designed and positioned, surrounded by walls and buildings, making impossible to enjoy the sun. The Italian restaurant is overpriced.
