Room was spacious with kingsize bed and a sea view. Location was not close to many facilities but is situated opposite West Bay Beach and free access to the beach was included in the booking which was a big pluspoint though beach did get very busy. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection. Evening meals were excellent value. Asian Night and Egyptian Night provided an extensive range of authentic dishes.

We had a very late flight home at 01.20 and were disappointed that no shower and changing facilities were made available after we had vacated the room at 13.00. Coffee, powdered milk etc were not replenished often enough in the room. Some of the room fittings and decor are looking a little worn.

The Filipina lady at the reception always has a big smile whenever you approach. She is very welcoming. Nagim, from concierge is a hardworking guy and was always ready to assist. The location accessible to everything, beach is just opposite and City Center Mall is just one block away.

Need to improve housekeeping because they usually just make the bed, refilled toiletries and changed the trash bags. The rest are not cleaned, furnitures are not wiped, the headboard was gathering dust already. The carpet was not vacuumed. Even crumpled tissues were not taken away. When we first came,I had to wipe the inside of the cabinet to put my things inside. Management needs to improve this part bec the the design of the building is already a bit outdated already but can be compensated with cleanliness and neatness.

The room has nice sea view, and comfortable , available all the facilities. The hotel location is near to city centers and other important location, also free access to private beach (cross the road). The staff are very supportive especially Mr Tarek in the reception.

The breakfast variety is limited Limited places for parking - however valley guy will support to get place The gym machine were limited with broken treadmill The swimming pool was small - only for kids the AC control was having some technical issue

The hotel is located across the street from the beach and is walking distance from two beach clubs. The staff was friendly and helpful. All requests were responded to in a timely manner (both electronically before we arrived and at the hotel). The breakfast buffet has a great variety and nice views. The pool area is lovely and overlooking the ocean (not infinity). The hotel is also located right next to a few cafes, which comes in handy for late night snacks. The hotel also gives vouchers for free entry to the W Beach Club.

The hotel restaurant does not sell alcohol. However, there is a nice Hilton across the street where one can have a few sundowners.

Everything was perfect!!! All the employees were very welcoming and always ready to help (special thanks to Soyead for making sure my room was very clean).

I didn’t notice anything I did not like.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location with a beach access. The room had a magnificent sea view. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, and the staff were very welcoming.

The only downside was that the room was cold, and unfortunately, there was no way to adjust the temperature.

Staff and location were really nice,breakfast was ok (standard).Entrance to the beach was free for hotel guests(after 10 a.m.was problem with sunbeds and parasols).

The rooms were cleaned regularly every day but not to great standard. The room was never vacuumed, clean towels were often missing. For 2 days the cleaner didn't refill the shower gel until we left him a message asking him to refill. The rooms needed renovation, they were old with stained walls.The bathtub was very small and narrow with poor access.The refilling of clean bottled water was inconsistent. I definitely wouldn't give this hotel 4 stars but 3. If the rooms were newer, more modern and the cleaner took care of cleaning the rooms, we would definitely have a better impression of the hotel.

Our week-long February stay at the Retaj Al Rayyan was nothing short of exceptional. While our initial room felt a bit cramped with the extra bed, the staff's prompt and courteous assistance moved us to a spacious room on the 14th floor with breathtaking views of Pearl Island. This immediate responsiveness set the tone for the entire stay. Breakfast was a delightful affair, with a wide selection and delicious freshly prepared omelets. The hotel's phenomenal location, offering complimentary access to the private West Bay Beach, was a major highlight. Imagine relaxing on the beach with the vibrant business district, complete with skyscrapers, a shopping mall, and restaurants, just steps away. But what truly elevated our experience was the incredible staff. Their attentiveness and dedication to guest comfort were truly remarkable. Highly recommended: 5 Stars

A minor note: The bathtub/shower combination was a little less convenient.

Retaj Al Rayyan hotel is a fantastic hotel that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming staff made us feel right at home. Their friendliness and attentiveness were evident throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile. One of the highlights was the breakfast. It was a delightful spread, offering a variety of options to suit every palate. Fresh fruits, pastries, and a selection of hot and cold dishes (every day different) were beautifully presented every day and delicious. It was the perfect way to start each day and receive great energy. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Our room was spotless, and the common areas were well-maintained, reflecting the high standards of the hotel. The cherry on top was the beautiful swimming pool. It provided a perfect oasis for relaxation after a day of exploring. The pool area was clean and inviting, making it a great spot to unwind and soak up the sun. Moreover there’re free vouchers for Westbay Beach, which is only 2 min away. Overall, we were completely satisfied with everything during our stay. The combination of excellent service, a delicious breakfast, and a clean environment made for a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Doha! Even though the hotel is not that big but there’re 6 elevators which illuminates waiting time. Every single detail is created in order to make your stay comfortable. Special respect for detox water in the gym, at the lobby, water cooler next to the swimming pool.

Spacious with 14' ceilings open area, high quality with well-maintained features. The buffet and dining area was gorgeous. The location is perfect with none of the beautiful new buildings blocking Retaj al Rayaan's view. For me, what stood out the most was the people. I can feel easily out of place. This hotel from business support for making copies, to the cafe and dessert bar where I got the perfect fresh lemonade with mint, maintenance, cleaning, porter, front desk. I am not great with names, but I want to shout out to Reagan, Noor, and especially the front desk for a midnight check-in and security officer who quickly reached out to the taxi company when I left my purse in the back seat. Anyone who would not be satisfied here, would complain about heaven.

Nothing except the free included access to West Bay Beach, (perfectly apart of my Seaview room). It is as clean as Lake Michigan at the Indiana Dunes, but they forgot to remind me how salty it would be. Seriously though, I am not a beach person, but this was an important part of why I chose this hotel option. My son had not been to an ocean beach since he was a year old.
