We recently had the pleasure of staying at Waldorf Astoria, and we can't say enough about the fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and outmost kindness from Jack at the front desk, he truly helped setting the tone for the entire visit. We can’t thank him enough! We wanted to thank Jack ourselves upon checking out but unfortunately he wasn’t there at the time. Great staff experience overall, friendly and helpful, amazingly clean and chic room with an excellent room crevice. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay and will definitely be returning.

The outside main entrance gets easily crowded with cars due to lack of space. It’s a small space for a property this luxury and big. But it certainly did not take away from the overall high quality of the hotel.

Best hotel I ever stayed in with most friendly and helpful staff. They all went above expectations to help us enjoy our first trip with a newborn baby... Facilities are amazing, with indoor swimming pools on the high floors with stunning views of Doha. Every detail was simply perfect... It is one of the very few hotels where I went to their website to write positive reviews about their staff members who were absolutely amazing!

Breakfast is very tasty (amazingly well prepared) but it is a combination of "buffet" and "a la cart"... This increases reliance on (very friendly and professional) staff, and slightly prolongs the time required to have breakfast. Also the choice of foods for breakfast is great, but could be improved.

Dear Waldorf Astoria Team, I recently had the pleasure of staying at your esteemed hotel in Qatar West Bay, and overall, my experience was delightful. The luxurious ambiance, impeccable facilities, and warm hospitality truly stood out. However, I did encounter a small issue during check-in. I was initially provided with the wrong room number, which caused a bit of confusion and delayed the start of my stay. While this was eventually resolved, I believe it’s an area that could use improvement to ensure a seamless experience for future guests. Thank you for the otherwise excellent service. I look forward to visiting again soon.

The service really was exceptional. Not only was everyone there helpful and catered to our needs, but they upgraded our room when they found out that it was our anniversary, and had a celebration slice of cake sent up. Service aside, the cleanliness of the room and the sheer number of facilities in the room (walk-in closet, a bathtub with a sea view, among others) and around the hotel (sauna, steam room, gym, 2 pools, a myriad restaurants including one in which the menu was created by a Michelin star chef) made it a great stay.

A little pedantic but the USB slot on the tv was malfunctioning. I tried plugging an external hardrive into it and the tv couldn't recognize it.

The hotel is very nice, very good facilities. The breakfast was excellent with very large selection of food to cater for every taste. However, I would like to specifically mention the staff - they went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The concierge team - Jeff and Charles were very helpful and arranged everything we asked for. And Ritchel from the front desk was very helpful as well. Excellent work!

The absence of outside pool is the only negative that I could mention.

The service was exceptional, and the rooms were incredibly spacious. The walk-in closet was notably large, offering plenty of storage space. The location is perfect—everything is just a 10 to 20-minute taxi ride away. The City Centre Doha Mall is conveniently located right across the street. The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

Nothing

Exceptional. Modern and tastefully decorated. Rooms were spacious with luxurious facilities and amenities. Staff was friendly, pleasant and attentive especially Sara. Charles the Concierge was very accommodating and helpful. No request was too big from arranging a tour, booking tennis tickets and finding World Cup T-shirts and always with a smile. Any minor issues were handled and resolved immediately by the reception and management. Overall very professional and welcoming staff everywhere in the hotel. Never encountered a rude or disrespectful person anywhere.

A little “off the beaten path” but taxis are readily available and the metro is about a 10 minute walk.

Decoration

Slow valie, slow staff to provide the room i came at 8 check in at 3 and still it took them 30 minute to get my room ready, another 30 minute to bring my luggage and had to call reception twice to bring baby crib which already requested abon booking and confirmed with receptionist during check in. Rug was stained, under the bed is full of accumulated dust, and bed sheet had yellow stain. I had patience but this is not a 5 star hotel expectation at all.

This was an amazing stay. The staff, the property, the service - all exceptional. The Breakfast was probably the best we've ever had in a hotel. Massive shout out to Yaseen from breakfast time - what a credit to the hotel you are! Concierge and front of house were all very helpful and so keen for us to have a good stay as well. Obviously we will be back!

The water pressure wasn't very good and the hot water was lukewarm to say the least. But it was incredibly hot outside so it wasn't really a big issue apart from my kids wanting to take a bath.

Everything was amazing! Especially the staff! Its more a business hotel what I really enjoyed rather than staying in a resort.

Unfortunately the pool and the room with the jacuzzi (hydro) is closed. So they just have a tiny pool left which is usable. An ice pool / ice room would be also very nice! After the sauna you dont have many options to cool you down. Avocado was not available during the whole stay. The card reader from the door sometimes just oopened after 5 min. I asked 3x to check it but it worked like before.
