Staff who was trying to cheat and recharge money! Unfortunately while checking out the guy at reception was telling fairy tales about miscalculations that booking doesn’t count one night and he was trying confuse us and recharge again money! I showed total amount from booking and total amount from my card that was charged while check in but he was insisting! Another cheating was near the pool that we paid cash for what we have ordered and they were trying to give us document to sign and put the same order on the room number. Be attentive because the fraud is everywhere in their staff!

I really can't fault this Marriott. Arrived very early & just wanted to leave bags in storage for the day. Was offered an upgrade & immediate check in (small extra cost) so was able to hit the shower after a long flight before heading out for the day. Felt fantastic. Staff went above & beyond in any interaction. Minor confusion over my late checkout on the last day but they immediately rectified it. Maybe one of the best breakfast buffets I've seen. Magnificent. Get breakfast with room & you won't be disappointed. Pool and Tulum bar were fantastic as were the staff on the pool deck. Room was in the North Tower which is apparently better. Range of restaurants on site is very good. The italian is worth a visit. If you're looking for an alternative eating option the adjoining shopping mall accessed from the 2nd floor straight from hotel is easy to get to. The city view at night from the path back from the Souk (worth a visit - especially the Falconery shops) is worth a walk or ride. Uber to the Souk late afternoon and wander or scooter back towards the Marriott as the sun sets. Ride all the way to the park near the Sheraton & then Uber back. Uber in Doha is cheap. Wouldn't bother hiring a car though the valet parking at the Marriott was very efficient.

Even 15 floors up there was a little road noise when someone in a sports car or on a big bike gave it a lot of throttle at 2am. Not the Marriott's fault but I was surprised. There was a little crossover noise as the room had an adjoining door to make a suite. I'm guessing double door and you'd think that would be enough but when the couple next door were enjoying the extra spacious king bed at 3am it was very noticable.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location was ideal, offering convenient access to nearby attractions and amenities. The staff was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive, creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. The breakfast buffet featured an impressive variety of options, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. Additionally, the complimentary late check-out was a thoughtful gesture.

While my stay was generally enjoyable, there were a couple of aspects that could be improved. The mattress was not very comfortable. Additionally, the furniture felt a bit outdated, and a refresh would enhance the overall ambiance of the room.

A lovely greeting and welcoming chat from Carolina who gave me a gorgeous corner room with views of the water and downtown - whether day or night a beautiful view whichever way you turned! Bellboy Berhaj was a huge help with my luggage and had a lovely chat on the way to my room. Housekeeping we're really helpful - cleaning my room very quickly when I popped out briefly and attending to a request promptly (sorry, I've forgotten the name of the head housekeeper guy who assisted!). The team went about their jobs quietly and very efficiently, no disturbances or noise during my stay. I liked that the hotel had good security - you scan your bags on arrival both at entrance to hotel and at the exit into the City Centre Mall - a vigilant yet friendly team.

I attended the F1 Qatar GP so was out for most of the days, aside from Monday when I realised that my room was a few floors above one of the outdoor lounges, with loud music playing from afternoon until 11pm. It didn't disturb me, but if someone was trying to sleep for an early flight, or had work to do, then it wouldn't be appreciated.

A truly lovely hotel apartment for a family stay! My family of six spent sixteen wonderful days here, and my children were not ready to leave when it was time to go. The breakfast was superb, the swimming pool world-class, and the rooms felt perfectly homely. The staff at reception, the restaurant, and room service were all exceptional—always attentive and professional. The two extra beds provided for my boys made their stay even more enjoyable. Marriott Marquis Hotel truly made our vacation in Doha unforgettable and worthwhile.

We stayed at Marriott to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The Guest Relations team, headed by Ms Bianca, were sweet and thoughtful enough to decorate a table with some balloons, cake and shaped towels to surprise my daughter - they were beyond welcoming! All of our requests were granted, especially by the kind housekeepers, showing Marriott's consistent and top-notch service and hospitality. Furthermore, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet with the wide variety of food and it was hard to choose a favourite dish with how well-cooked everything was. As always, Marriott is the best, would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Location, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast buffet, wonderful swimming pool and pool area, and I’d like to thank miss. Sheila (not sure of the spelling) from the front desk she was very helpful, informative and professional during check-in process.

I think house keeping and rooms cleaning process is done randomly without quality check. I stayed in room No. 3913. unfortunately, the bedside clock seemed never cleaned (it’s sticky from the dirt). The bedside lamps the shade and frame never cleaned there was black dirt in every angle of it.

The atmosphere and the vibe of the hotel I loved it the staff were extremely helpful and just in those few days I got along with them all really well I really do wish every single person working there the best in their futures would love to come back!

Only thing I didn’t like was that the check in was at 3 so I had to pay an extra fee for early check in. I booked the hotel from the 10th to the 14th May I landed on the 10th I don’t understand how it makes sense for me to book for the 9th to the 14th.

Location of the hotel steps away from the metro station is very convenient. If you are visiting Doha, make sure to get a hotel close to metro as it is best way to get around. Room is spacious. Got a room on the 17th floor so it had a nice city view. Breakfast was excellent but gets too crowded. Value is great.

Nothing major. Although my room was on the 17th floor, during one night there was a car on the highway making a lot of noise and we could hear it clearly which made me think that sound isolation can be improved. Also tiles in the bathroom need some renovation (some mold underneath them).
