Excellent hotel! The rooms are huge, very clean, have a lighted closet for clothes, a large mirror, the bed is comfortable, with many pillows to choose from and a great shower. The concierge and restaurant staff are friendly and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. The hotel has an excellent location, with quick access to the airport (13 minutes by Uber), close to the subway and with several tourist attractions within walking distance, such as the Souq, the city's symbolic tower, the corniche, the Museum of Islamic Art and the National Museum - all of which can be reached on foot. The area is very safe. Women can walk alone on the street at night without any danger. It may seem silly, but since the hotel building is tall and well-lit, it is great for finding your way back home easily, without having to resort to maps and cell phones. It is easy to get an Uber in this location and there are also many restaurants and services very close by. The wifi works well in the hotel, I used it both on my computer and on my cell phone. The breakfast is great, with a good variety of items and fresh fruit. The hotel has a 24-hour concierge and they also serve food in the room 24 hours a day, which I think is excellent. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone to stay at the Ramada.

Amazing staff, perfect location close to Soul Waqif and, as you would expect of Ramada, huge, spacious rooms.

The property itself is run down and certain parts would need refurbishing. The gym was in all honesty in the worst condition I've ever seen. Equipment damaged or rusted, 2 out of 3 treadmills defunct.

The hotel is located perfectly and is in walking distance from most of the tourist attractions of Doha. Also there is a complimentary transfer from and to the airport, which can be easily arranged with the Staff. The whole Team is very professional and helpful. You see that the hotel wants to improve and collects direkt feedback from customers. Hari does this in a very pleasant conversation and you really want to take the time to him. Another good thing that deserves recognition is the breakfast. You should take extra time to enjoy a huge variety of different foods, all are delicious.

The bathroom could use some renovation, but we learned this is already planned for this year.

Staff were flawless! Aunour at checkin was delightful, friendly and very efficient, and even remembered me on check out. Amir assisted with my luggage and very kindly showed me the facilities of the room. Such a warm welcome from both of them even though I arrived around midnight. As others have mentioned, my room really was hilariously oversized. I thought it was great! Excellent price for all that space. My room was on a lower floor and overlooked the pool, it looked clean (some others have mentioned bird poop, but I saw none). The call to prayer is often heard outside the window, it is quite loud and I think it is beautiful. Location is great, very walkable to the souq market, dhow harbour, city skyline lookout points, and I also walked to old port easily. Nice cafes nearby. I paid 46 QAR for a taxi from the airport (not organised by hotel). Two water bottles per day were provided in room, along with tea/coffee etc. In the middle of the night I used WhatsApp to text reception for more water and it arrived very fast. I also used WhatsApp to text the restaurant for a menu and order dinner. All was very efficient. The dinner burger was excellent, much better than expected from the outdated menu design. I also recommend going up to one of the top hotel floors at night to have a look out at the beautiful skyline. Loved the on-demand omelette station at the breakfast buffet. My room had USB charge ports as well as plugs, though i was informed online only plugs were available.

The buffet breakfast was a bit random for my usual taste, but there was still more than enough options to satisfy! If you put the shower water pressure on full (not necessary because it's very powerful) then the water fills up and flows out into the bathroom a bit.

We had a great stay at Ramada by Wyndham Doha Old Town during Web Summit Qatar and for some business. The hotel offers spacious rooms, a very comfortable bed, and a friendly staff that made my experience even better. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the Souq Waqif metro station and 10 minutes from the Islamic Museum, making it easy to explore the city. A fun bonus for Harry Potter fans: there's a themed restaurant called Hogwarts near the hotel, where they offer a magic show, themed clothing for photos, and an immersive experience that makes it a must-visit! Overall, a great place to stay with excellent value for money!

There were a few downsides. The Wi-Fi quality was disappointing, especially for online video meetings, I often got stuck, and even in the lobby, the connection wasn't great for live video calls. The shower had extremely high water pressure (good point), however it caused the bathroom to flood at times because the drain couldn't support the amount of water. Lastly, the breakfast room had no ventilation, so every day, our clothes would end up smelling like food after eating there.

This is my third time to stay in the hotel. I like its location and the comfortable room area. Due to my short staying period, I wasn't able to use the hotel facilities such as the gym and swimming pool. the check in process didn't take much time and the room was ready upon my arrival which was 2:00 PM. the check out process was even faster. Car parking was very arranged, there were staff assisting the guests in findings empty spots and parking. The breakfast price was very suitable and it matched the number of choices available. The hotel manager and staff were very friendly during the stay specially the housekeeping boy Mr. Nausad who's response was quick towards the requests.

The bed sheets felt a little itchy. The room next to us was playing some loud music and the sound reached out room, but it was only for little time during the day so it was fine with me.

It is a good location near Souq wakif, metro, art museum, corniche, dhow harbour. The hotel needs to be modernised but rooms are spacious and.comfortable.

The internet was not working in ly room during the whole stay. I had to go down to reception each time i needed to be connected. Also behind the curtain you can see how dirty are the windows...very unpleasant to look at

We had a fantastic 4-day stay at Ramada by Wyndham Doha Old Town! The hotel is in a great location—just a short walk from Souq Waqif and other key spots. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. A special thank you to the hotel manager, who was always present, professional, and genuinely cared about guest satisfaction. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made a big difference in our experience. We’d also like to highlight the wonderful housekeeping service by Rayan. He was friendly, respectful, and consistently ensured our room was spotless and well-stocked. His dedication and positive attitude truly stood out.

Special thanks to RAIHAN for all his hard work. Everyday he checks to make sure everything is going well and with a beautiful smile. A very kind person and I will definitely be back again. Correct price for the hotel, the room are very very big with a lot of space. I'm 6'4 230 lbs man and the bed are very comfortable. The breakfast is only 10 bucks which is great. Only thing I can say is please tell customer NOT TO LEAN over the counter when the chef is cooking omelet. It's just a safety hazard and also to avoid cross contamination. Check in is fast as well as check out.

Cold at night and rude customer towards the staff of the hotel

I have loved everything during my stay here. From the beginning till the end of my stay here, when i first arrived, my luggage was immediately taken care off, the receptionist was kind enough to help me to check in early despite arriving at 11am and i was exhausted w the long layover. Getting into the room everything was given, love how clean the room is, how there is already iron board and irons in the room. The tv was huge ! And connecting w the spotify, netflix and youtube was so ease. Wify was so fast too. Easy to connect. Water is also restocked, fridge was also clean and functional, no smell. Oh i love that. Bedsheet were changed everyday and i love the staff that service my room that day, i forgot his name but he is from nepali if im not mistaken. He was also very nice to me. Greeting me in and out from my breakfast and when i got back to my room in the evening. Breakfast was amazing. I love my breakfast there. Like every single day is not a boring one. Everything is so so good..i would love to give a special thanks to the receptionist who worked on my check out that night and the hotel driver , bcs i left my passport and i had to return back to the hotel. I spent most of my cash bcs im going back to my country, thus everything is in my card. But time is very constrict i dont have time to go and cash out. (I promise i do have money😂😅). The driver offered to send me to the airport despite i told him (crying) that i have only 17 QAR. He was very nice to me and calmed me down. I hope he got a promotion ngl, he didnt care about money. He was very very caring about the hotel’s customer. Luckily i found i have RM50 cash in my bag ≈ approx 44.1QAR on my way in the car and i gave it to him with the additional 17QAR to him. It was sufficient as he told me the cost is 50QAR and i rejected him politely telling him i only have 17 and he still insist that its okay, he takes whatever it is.. that made my entire trip very memorable . Would definitely come here for my hone

Just the contact number for the hotel, unable to contact. Update your numbers on website, google, booking.com etc. all numbers are not the same, emails are slow to reply thats it, otherwise its excellent.
