A conveniently placed hotel close to the airport yet within walking distance of old Doha, the waterfront and Souq Waqif. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and welcoming, particularly the receptionists on the front desk, Namal in the restaurant, the waitress in the jazz bar and Hussan the Duty Manager. The rooms were comfortable with all the amenities you would require, like ironing board, safe and hairdryer with good views over the sea and Corniche and the gym was very well equipped. The breakfast were amazing and probably the best we have had in any hotel. Great value for money.

The food in the 4 Seasons Restaurant was very good but unfortunately the service was really slow the evening we were there (over an hour to receive food) even though there were hardly anyone else there. Having said that, the hotel staff and Duty Manager were exceptional in dealing with our complaint and compensated us superbly with reduction in the bill, free dessert, fruit basket sent to the room and complimentary airport taxi service. We understand that things can occasionally go wrong but the hotel more than made up for the initial problem and made it clear that customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to them. We came away very happy and would definitely stay in Mövenpick again for the good customer relations and good value for money

It is essential that all Middle Eastern countries provide extra beds for children at no additional charge. This practice should be standard, as it promotes family accessibility and enhances the overall hospitality experience.They expect an 11-year-old to share a double bed with the parents or pay for a portable bed. Mouldy silicone sealant around the bathtub.

I enjoyed my stay at Movenpick for a number of reasons, 1) The location is excellent to easy to get the tourist sites by foot or taxi 2) Room was a good size and regularly cleaned 3) The staff were really good and thats what made my stay great Hamza from the front desk, very helpful and supportive - The pool guy who managed the steam room was always very chirpy and smiley - the doormen were great and friendly and considerate 4) The breakfast was good with a decent variety - Hasan Ali and the Chef Suraj are good at their craft and very helpful

I would like point out when i was checking out 1st May 6:00am there was a very extremely rude CUSTOMER being very nasty to receptionist who was duty at that time(i didn’t get his name). The young man was very patience even when this customer was asking how he worked here and must started as a toilet cleaner - this is not acceptable behaviour from the customers he should be removed from the hotel

My stay at the hotel was smooth and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, and all facilities were well maintained. The front desk staff was professional and welcoming - special thanks to Mr. Hamza for the warm check-in and helpful attitude. I really appreciate the service and I will definitely stay here again.

This was our first time visiting Doha, and we chose Mövenpick Doha because we’re familiar with the brand and trust its consistent quality. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short drive from the airport and close to several of the city’s main attractions like the Museum of Islamic Art, the National Museum of Qatar, and Souq Waqif. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The check-in process was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated after a long journey. We booked a Deluxe Room and were assigned a room on the 4th floor with a lovely view overlooking the pool area. The room was quite spacious—even with our two extra-large suitcases, we still had plenty of space to move around. It was well-equipped with a fridge, ironing board, working desk, a comfortable sitting chair, and a bathroom with a bathtub and full amenities. The bed was soft and very comfortable, and we appreciated the extra pillows provided. Overall, we had a great experience.

if you're planning to explore Doha using the metro, this may not be the most convenient option, as the nearest station is quite far, especially challenging during the summer heat (over 40°C when we visited). However, taxis are readily available and reasonably priced in Doha, so getting around was still easy and stress-free.

Location was great, the major sights (from Souq to National Museum) were within walking distance, at least in December. OK, within a few blocks there must be a dozen other hotels as well. Also the location made a quick access to and from the airport possible. Room (423) was very roomy. Breakfast was very good and the staff there was superb.

As a whole it was very much a standard four star property. Not excellent, not too bad. It could use a refurbishment as some stuff looked pretty shabby now. Maybe that is reflected in the price, though? And once again they advertised how environmentally friendly they are and how the towels and bed sheets will not be changed "until needed". Well, that need was every day. White wash, I say. The Jazz Up bar was a very slow experience. Smoking was possible there which after no many years elsewhere without the smoke felt very weird indeed.

Nice stuff, clean rooms, The room is spacious, the hotel has everything you need, there is a supermarket nearby, free valet parking, overall one of the best hotels I have stayed in Qatar

They allow for the people who came from BAR shouting and luffing loud voice, and i ask them about how they allow for the Girls who are not staying at the hotel are accompanied by their friends to the rooms? He says since they are in the bar they can go, but no one ask them about ID or any safety questions???

A wonderful vacation at Mövenpick Hotel Doha! The location is very good - close to the airport and the city center, which makes it much easier to get around. The rooms are spacious, stylish and very comfortable, with a beautiful view from the window. The staff deserves a special thanks - always friendly and ready to help with any question. Breakfasts in the hotel are beyond praise: the variety of dishes is impressive, and the quality of products is excellent. The extras such as the pool and fitness room were also very satisfying. Definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant vacation and comfortable stay in Doha!

1 their was so many noises coming from doors that the cleaners = servants , and we couldn’t sleep at all , and we called the room service so many times but it wasn’t useful, and yet they still didn’t solve the problem 2 the water was leaking from the water pipe ( shataf ) and the pressure in the shower head was very weak 3 the a/c in the room was kinda hot

Great hotel, we stayed there already 2 times and enjoyed each visit! The staff is very nice and helpful, they even helped us when my son was sick and needed a doctor. Breakfast was really outstanding! The location is great too, it is just a short drive from the airport and close to the famous promenade and some other sights, there is also a grocery shop nearby. Beds were big and comfortable. Our last stay was after Christmas time and the hotel was very nicely decorated. The swimming pool is also nice and it wasn't crowded. Overall the hotel is a great choice if you have a short layover in Doha or if you want to stay more days and explore the city. Next time we will choose this hotel again.
