Location was great, the major sights (from Souq to National Museum) were within walking distance, at least in December. OK, within a few blocks there must be a dozen other hotels as well. Also the location made a quick access to and from the airport possible. Room (423) was very roomy. Breakfast was very good and the staff there was superb.

As a whole it was very much a standard four star property. Not excellent, not too bad. It could use a refurbishment as some stuff looked pretty shabby now. Maybe that is reflected in the price, though? And once again they advertised how environmentally friendly they are and how the towels and bed sheets will not be changed "until needed". Well, that need was every day. White wash, I say. The Jazz Up bar was a very slow experience. Smoking was possible there which after no many years elsewhere without the smoke felt very weird indeed.

A wonderful vacation at Mövenpick Hotel Doha! The location is very good - close to the airport and the city center, which makes it much easier to get around. The rooms are spacious, stylish and very comfortable, with a beautiful view from the window. The staff deserves a special thanks - always friendly and ready to help with any question. Breakfasts in the hotel are beyond praise: the variety of dishes is impressive, and the quality of products is excellent. The extras such as the pool and fitness room were also very satisfying. Definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant vacation and comfortable stay in Doha!

1 their was so many noises coming from doors that the cleaners = servants , and we couldn’t sleep at all , and we called the room service so many times but it wasn’t useful, and yet they still didn’t solve the problem 2 the water was leaking from the water pipe ( shataf ) and the pressure in the shower head was very weak 3 the a/c in the room was kinda hot

Great hotel, we stayed there already 2 times and enjoyed each visit! The staff is very nice and helpful, they even helped us when my son was sick and needed a doctor. Breakfast was really outstanding! The location is great too, it is just a short drive from the airport and close to the famous promenade and some other sights, there is also a grocery shop nearby. Beds were big and comfortable. Our last stay was after Christmas time and the hotel was very nicely decorated. The swimming pool is also nice and it wasn't crowded. Overall the hotel is a great choice if you have a short layover in Doha or if you want to stay more days and explore the city. Next time we will choose this hotel again.

We loved our stay here. The hotel is so comfortable, clean and all the staff are excellent. The rooms were clean, functional and the room service and housekeeping were excellent. They were all friendly and welcoming from start to finish and they always went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The pool and spa facilities are great and such a nice way to relax and unwind here. The food from the restaurant is amazing. We ordered room service twice and we enjoyed everything. In terms of location, it’s perfect. Everything is within a 10-15 minute walking distance. It’s close to souq waqif, old Doha port, the National Museum of Qatar, Corniche promenade, the museum of Islamic art. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Doha soon.

In the room we stayed the bathroom shower glass seal was damaged so water would go everywhere when showering however the cleaners came everyday and ensured this was all cleaned up.

Pool is too small, water is smelly, vegsn dinner, I am no vegan...

We stayed for a 5 night stopover from the UK to Australia and was not disappointed! Even before we arrived, the staff were polite, friendly and accommodating. Thanks to our Booking.com Genius Level, we were upgraded to a spacious Deluxe King room, which came with a beautiful sea view, and a super comfy, extra-large king size bed. Convenient in-room tea/coffee facilities and mini fridge (when travelling with a child, it's a simple essential not provided at all hotels these days). Handy petrol station/cafe located practically next door for all you little travel needs or snacks etc. Great harbour location on Al Corniche, within walking distance of The National Museum and Souq Waqif markets, and subway stations, and short taxi ride from the airport, and if you don't feel like sight-seeing, simply relax poolside or in the spa, or treat yourself to one of the many in-house services. The food in the restaurant and room service was exceptional and accommodating a child's meal request was no bother. I could go on but you really must see for yourself! I would rate it more than 5 stars if I could! We felt like royalty! Thank you to all the lovely staff, we'll definitely be back one day :)

Absolutely nothing to complain about!

Great location close to the airport and walking distance to the Old Port, Souq Waqif, Museum of Islamic Art and National Museum of Qatar. Reception staff were very welcoming and professional. Room service was excellent.

We pre-arranged a car to and from the hotel which was not waiting for us when we arrived although we provided all our flight details. We had to wait for almost an hour and make multiple phone calls to the hotel before the hotel's driver arrived.

Boutique feel, very smiley staff, couldn't do enough to help you, buffet breakfast variety v good. Felt very comfortable and welcome as a solo female traveller, felt like home. Fantastic location, so easy to get about to the Corniche and just minutes from the fabulous Qatar National museum.

Pool and garden area is a little small and only in the sun for part of the day. Only one other small outdoor terrace to sit and relax/read. Wifi was very slow - you needed to download a free VPN, which we only found out after struggling for hours, when IT stepped in to help! Reception and IT resolved it v quickly though.
